Raising his gaze, a sturdy Shield rose from beneath Lox’s feet.
Black Flames burst upon the golden Shield, tiny black droplets like rain sprinkled into the deceit fog.
Defending against the Demon King’s ferocious strike, Lox did not immediately counterattack but instead placed his fingers at his temple, connecting to a suddenly incoming telepathy.
On the other end of the telepathy, Agares’s slightly helpless voice came through:
"Hero Lox.
We have already reached the vicinity of the Demon King City and are preparing to land.
Barring any unforeseen events, we will rush over to assist you...
But sometimes, unforeseen events happen just like that.
Lilith’s intelligence indicates that the Evil Dragon on our side and her offspring have encountered some trouble.
They are entangled in a struggle with an unknown giant dragon and adventurers.

The Holy Light Shield shattered into numerous fragments, the black blade cutting through effortlessly, slashing toward Lox’s head.
With a "crackle," light and dark scattered everywhere.
Lox swung the Holy Sword, blocking the Deceitful Emperor’s sharp black sword blade.
The Holy Sword trembled slightly, and Lox once again entered a stalemate with the Demon King.
Yang Yu’s face flashed before his eyes, and Lox asked Agares:
"How did they reach here?"
Agares truthfully replied, "According to Lilith, they used a transmission platform built by the Demon King. They seem to have persuaded the Four Heavenly Kings’ Black Diamond Lorne to make use of the platform."
"Is this information reliable?"
The sharpness deflected the Demon King’s black sharp blade, and Lox leapt back repeatedly, crashing into one inflated bubble after another. The bubbles touched by Lox vibrated and merged into a larger bubble, blocking all the fog.
"If you don’t believe, you can ask Miss Yongfang Chunlan; she has seen the intelligence too," Agares said.
The Deceitful Emperor created spikes from gathered Magic Power, piercing the bubble where Lox was hiding.
Instantly, countless deceit fog waves surged toward Lox.
Disappearing into the deceit fog, the Deceitful Emperor rode atop the fog, his point of attack unknown.
Scanning the mist, countless pieces of information flowed through Lox’s mind, connecting the dots, and Lox asked Agares:
"What do you think we should do now?"
Agares replied: "According to current observations, they haven’t made a move toward you yet; there may still be room to maneuver.
Should the Goblin Emperor gain the upper hand, the crisis will naturally resolve itself.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to contact the Goblin Emperor to ascertain the power of those coming or if she can withstand them.
That group seemed to have anticipated our full mobilization and made ample preparations.
Considering our team’s capabilities, there’s not a hundred percent certainty of taking them down.

After deflecting Lox’s question, Agares handed the decision back to Lox.
Suddenly, the mist surrounding Hero Lox transformed into the appearance of the Deceitful Emperor from all directions, launching a simultaneous assault on Lox.
A gleam flashed in his eyes, and Lox stabbed the Holy Sword into the ground, layers of Holy Light Formation spreading beneath him. The intense pulsations instantly repelled all the "Deceitful Emperors."
All the attacking figures dispersed into mist.
None of these figures were the real Deceitful Emperor!
Emerging from the mist, the Deceitful Emperor calmly raised his hand to the sky, countless deceit fog gathering into three black swords above his head.
With a powerful swing of his arm, the three black swords followed the Deceitful Emperor’s arm movement, crashing down toward Lox.
Lox’s figure flashed by the three black swords like a shooting star in an instant.
As the ground shook, the three black swords shattered the platform, erupting into violent black energy, transforming into black lightning and spreading across all platforms.
With each move, Lox would receive a minor shock from the black current.
Not hesitating, Lox seized the moment the Deceitful Emperor launched his attack, thrusting the Holy Sword like thunder toward the Deceitful Emperor’s flank.
The Deceitful Emperor’s body appeared heavy yet incredibly lightweight, swiftly retreating a short distance, evading Lox’s slash.
