Demon Lord Wants to Laze

Two or four, lord of the corona.

Lesson 4: The Lords of Corona

Corona, a subhuman town.

It is on the northeast side from the town of Loran the Beast Man.

Half of the inhabitants comprised were leading species such as beasts, the other half were arcs, demonic foxes, dragon men and winged men.

They have more than 500 people living in one place.

With such towns facing Loran, Plenicia and Gran, it can be said that they are one of the leading 'zones of tension' in the continent.

If they had all stripped their fangs together, it would have led to a massive war.

So at any rate, we should have built a friendship.

"Heh. You have a town and the sun is shallow, but you're in a lot of shape."

"They must be desperate, too. You want to live comfortably as soon as possible."

"... that doesn't seem like it."

"The whole town is letting up the fight. It's a long way from normal town."

To Ashley's sentiments, Elena added.

As that point is made, there is tension around like during the war.

Busy to hear the hammer from the forge, its entrance is lined with numerous swords and spears.

Even though the houses are crude and the roads are not maintained, weapons seem to be taking the lead over agricultural tools.

Residents walking down the road wear minimal armaments, both old and young.

Self-defense, to say the more excessive.

"Well, what are you going to do? Arrange an inn first..."

"No, let's talk to the representatives here first. I don't think they'll be hostile, but I want to explore their bellies first."

"Really? That big building looks like it."

There's about two rounds in the center of town compared to the other buildings.

A large building was built.

Ask the guy who was nearby, it seems that's the Lordship Hall.

When I told him what to do at the entrance, he immediately put me through the back.

The office thus guided was a very small, qualitative room without one of the condiments.

They were all so hard to get in, they only took Rita and Ashley to meet them.

"Lord Alfred the Demon King. Corona welcomes you."

It was the woman in the arc who greeted her.

Features narrow eyes, long, long, lustrous blonde hair.

Is it a hallmark of the race, somewhat similar to Rita?

But the look in front of me is far from smiling.

Rather, I even got the impression of intimidating my opponent.

Still, they behave friendly for once, so now that would be enough.

"I say Melissa. representative of this town, and race is the arc of the great"

"It's Alfred. People, but don't hold me there."

"I don't know what a hero for a sub would say... I didn't think the first voice would be a joke."

"It's always like this. You're easy to talk to, aren't you?

"Sort of. Quickly, but let me ask you something."

"I just stopped by because I wanted to go through nearby. I'm in a good mood."

Melissa doesn't change her expression.

I keep pointing my sharp eye this way.

"There's no reason for you to be in our mood."

"No, no, I need to get along with your neighbor. I'll tell you to hold it. I'll hold it."

"We're doing well with the town of Loran, and there's no invasion of the Toyota Forest. I mean, you came at the expense of the Ningens, didn't you?

"That's suspicious. I just stopped by."

My eyes became tougher looking at this one.

Breaking through in an instant means Melissa seems to turn her head more than expected.

Did years of hard work cultivate the depth of thought?

Still hard, but stiff.

Doesn't sound like good diplomacy.

Then this one just needs to be changed to a means that seems effective.

"... to be honest, you're right. I wanted to discuss how to deal with people."

"Again. What are you gonna do with us? Drop it on a slave again?

"No way. He just wants me to be a little quieter. Humans are cowardly, so they can't sleep because they smell like war."

"The words of His Grace the Great Demon King, but I cannot accept them."

"I got days of peace because of it. Why bother creating a spark of war?

Chris has informed me that there has already been a small bump.

If one of you is serious about this, it will be another war.

"We were robbed. Dignity, culture, family, even power!

"Power?"

"I can't stand being exposed to shame like this. What's the point of being proud raw?"

"Oh, man. Don't get too excited."

"The Demon King. He said it was tranquil, but it was Ningen who came out again."

"Is that true?

"I was at the crime scene. Several daughters were about to be taken. I was dressed, but it was definitely the Grand Royal people"

I punched King Gran in the face in my heart.

It is also the moment the next destination is decided.

"But hey, it could be someone else who looks a lot like you, and the quicker things are..."

"I won't forget his face until I die. He called it an inspection and watched our living hell day and night."

"Keep pushing, it's war. If you do it badly, you might end up fighting all over the continent."

"Our grudges are engraved on our souls. If it's enough to withstand that pain, choose death."

So Melissa rang the bell.

Two guard-like men appeared in the room.

Though not hostile, it emits enough fighting spirit to be able to play.

"Let me get it for you. We're going to meet again for dinner."

"Aren't you willing to reconsider?

"Until the day when men shall be ashamed of their work, they shall not cease to fight."

"Right. You seem determined."

"Swear to the Spirit of our Father."

Melissa's hand was pointed towards the door.

I guess the talks are over.

"Then I'll give you one last piece of advice as a senior lord. Don't pay too much attention to shape. The people are surprisingly simple and accommodating. Anything that stands at its apex will require the flexibility it deserves."

"... let's order the liver"

- Batan.

The negotiations ended in a farewell.

I picked up Elena and the others on that leg.

The children judged the outcome by our complexion, and the expression changed into something very personal.

"Come on, gentlemen of the Grand Royal Family. The Demon King is coming to see you.

"Oh, Alf. You look so good."

"What are you talking about? Even you guys are good."

"Really? I guess I'm just the way I usually am."

"Kuhihi, you assholes ningens. I'll be ready... You're wasting the best of your time. Don't make him regret it."

When Rita is clean, the phantom of a fox shakes demonically behind her back.

When Ashley gets clean, she starts screaming for some reason.

Isn't it the usual?

I thought of staying overnight in Corona, but that's a stop.

I decided to literally fly to Gran.

For the solemnity of the name of negotiation.
