Episode 83: Sister's Return

It was the capital of the King of Plenicia who defeated the Grounddragon before heading for it.

Since I haven't been able to speak to Ellis, the queen, since this disturbance, I decided to stop by for a visit.

You'll be there tomorrow afternoon.

It would have been convenient if King Grania Arnault had been here now.

Good and sunny, gentle morning of the wind.

Contrary to that open day, our itinerary is severely painful.

Because all sorts of tragedies on the continent pop into our eyes going down the road.

The village, of course, was heavily damaged, even in towns equipped with some protection.

The walls and fences have collapsed, many houses have collapsed and many fields have been trampled and vandalized.

Over and over again, I saw someone who could walk away from the sight of the unusual.

And the hardest thing to look at is this, after all.

I saw a number of tomb markers in time, not even tidy.

Sometimes you'll run into a bunch of people at the funeral and hear a sad scream on your back.

"Dad! Father!

"You... rest in peace, go to sleep. This child is well raised by the athletes..."

"The Knights have abandoned us! My daughter was only five! You're not allowed to do this!

"Calm down. Don't talk too much."

"You said we'd get married next month. Take this ring over there..."

Every time I heard a sad voice, I almost stopped.

I wanted to hold the shoulders of everyone crying down and beg for forgiveness.

- I can't protect you, and I'm sorry.

But that was stopped by Sister Elena.

The hand that grabs my shoulder is powerful and I can peek at my head.

"Sylvia, what we need to do is not redemption. We should move somewhere big so we can get our old lives back as soon as possible."

"Maybe, but you're gonna want to do something for me."

"If they hear the word, it will be harder. Now stop it."

"Yeah. Okay..."

Everyone had a small mouth count while on the move.

Because of all the terresia that ravaged my hometown, everyone was hurting their chest, of course.

Sister Elena will see her home country in a while. Now, it should be very hard.

I decided not to speak up unnecessarily and to remain calm.

Security itself was good after the war, and no one attacked it.

I'm sure the bad guys don't have room for bad skill either.

As I stretch down the road, at some point the sun is leaning.

I needed to get ready for Nojuku before dark.

"That's it for today's trip, and not tomorrow for the rest?

"Sure, it's time for the sun to go down. Let's get ready to stay while we can"

"Then I'll prepare a meal. Eh, firewood..."

"I'll do it"

"Yes. Then you left it to Elena."

Everyone started working in some unsettled air.

Then I ate at night and prepared a bedroom in an affordable vacant lot, but it was still very painful.

I didn't think I had a choice now either.

The next day.

I arrived in the capital of the king of Plenicia while the sun was high as planned.

I heard there was a fierce battle, but this whole place remains a day of existence.

The full protection by the crystals was not Dada, there was no breakage in the walls, and the surroundings were neat.

Some distance from the wall is cluttered with blood marks and arrows, so I think the boundary was within the boundaries of the junction.

Going down the road looking at them, a small group was holding off outside the gate, and everyone was looking at us.

An uncle with a sharp, splendid mustache of eyesight, behind which there are several people who look like his men.

I had contacted Mr. Ellis in advance, so maybe he'll pick you up.

When I thought so, Theresia stepped out of the side and went ahead, giving a bowl of grace in front of my uncle.

"Teresia Night Plenicia. I'm home now"

"Um, um. I'm well back safe. I was worried, but that sounds like a breath disaster."

"Your father hasn't changed, I'm relieved."

"Ha-ha-ha. I'm still early for retirement, too. I wanted to show you the archery that shot the orcs."

Apparently, Teresian's father.

That means I'm also Sister Elena's father, but my sister doesn't try to move from behind us.

Is there some certainty or something after all?

"Mummy! The swordsman there, if..."

"Yes, she is Elena Knight Plinicia that person and definitely your sister"

"Wow! Elena, whoa, whoa!"

Jumped!

A good old great uncle jumped the universe!

I landed right next to my sister and hugged her around her neck, rubbing her cheeks off even when it was hot and bitter.

That beard looks painful.

"Sir Julius. Let go of me."

"Such other manners! Call me Daddy. Call me Daddy!

A nobleman who is far more childish than Kevin and is happy to reunite with his daughter.

I had the impression that he was a stricter person, but when I met him, he was completely different.

I quietly decided to walk over to Theresia and listen to my voice diving in.

"Hey, Theresia. What's all this?

"You surprised me, didn't you, Dad?"

"I think I heard something harsh about it. Aren't you a scared father?

"Mm-hmm. One way or the other, your mother's a tough sucker. Dad's standing there on the arrow, scolding me on my mother's behalf."

"You don't see anything to talk about... Teresia and Sister Elena, what's so different about attitude so far?

"My sister is the son of my ex-wife, and Atashi is the son of my current wife. So the only thing that gets tough on you is Atashi. She's letting her sister go, and Dad won't hesitate."

"I mean, he said it was his nature."

"Soss."

I turned my attention to the tragedy behind me.

Lord Julius mercifully adores even kittens.

Sister Elena, who remains upright immovable and greets her with no expression.

With that said, my sister said.

He left the house without telling anyone.

I feel like I understand that feeling better now.

"And you're back so good! From now on, you're in Plenicia, aren't you? You're gonna live with your dad, aren't you?

"It doesn't. Say no."

"Why not? Ooh! Stay with me.

I think someone said something about Sir Julius as a 'fine figure', but that would be a mistake of memory.

Out of the invincible faces, the uncontrolled have no famous hassle.

"Sir, then I will ask! Have you seen the towns and villages? Have you seen what you love, the people who have been deprived of their home!

"Yes, no. The eagle is packed in the king's capital..."

"Whose great sword is it for? Your Majesty, the capital, for birth!

"Keeping this place focused is a matter of national decision..."

"Was it to protect all the noble ones? I can't tell you what's wrong with me. How could I sleep with my pillows high, listening to the mutilators of the weak!

"Oh, let me abuse you. Even I disagreed, but it seems I've made up my mind. I'm doing my job..."

Uncle Julius threw himself out and rolled to the ground crying.

His people panic a lot... nothing, watching him with a cool face.

Maybe this is the way it usually is.

"Sir, I would like to begin by asking Her Majesty the Queen. What should I do?"

"Also, of course. Your Majesty is waiting for you at the royal palace."

"Then take him! I don't care what you do now!

"Ok, ok. I'll show you around, laugh. Huh?"

"Say no."

Thus we arrived after our uncle, who muddled his clothes and pride.

On that road, I wanted to talk to Sister Elena, but it wasn't very that kind of air.

Or we felt something irrational, too.

The expression of the people of the Wang capital is bright, the shops open as usual, and the streets have a lively voice.

Everyday as if nothing had happened.

That's all there was to it.

Neither does the soldier with the wrong guard feel sad or tired.

Rather, it was also a sense of accomplishment after winning the battle, which seemed somewhat lively.

Every one of them drops a dark shadow in his heart.

I'm not guilty of them, but I'm in a bad mood.

We arrived during the glance, holding back the emotions we had lost to go.

Mr. Ellis on the throne and Mr. Arnault on the side.

People were paying for it, there were only a few other grandfathers.

"Long time no see, Sylvia...... no, Queen Registaria"

"Right, long time no see. To Mr. Ellis, Mr. Arnault."

"You've seen it outside the capital, haven't you?

"Yeah. That's enough to cover my eyes and block my ears"

"Again, I guess so. As far as reporting goes, he said he made a lot of sacrifices..."

"Queen Ellis! I would ask you to forgive me for a few questions!

It was Sister Elena who broke in loudly.

He is upright, chested, and staring straight at Queen Ellis.

He looked in contrast to Teresia lying flat.

"Why did you gather soldiers to the capital? You didn't feel like saving the people outside!

"Elena Knight Plenicia. I feel your anger is too Yu (more)"

"I am at last away from the army! Please don't call me by that name!

"Right. Look at you when you're splendid, follow me..."

Mr. Ellis slipped away gently from his gaze.

The face looks a little lonely.

Still, your sister's words don't stop.

"Whether the high oak is strong or not, it wouldn't have been an unbeatable opponent! Like deciding on a cage castle without even breaking it!

"Let's talk about it in consequence theory and it looks that way. But this is how we recognized it at the time. High oaks swarming the territory, mighty earth dragons walking wide through neighboring countries, and the shadow of the divine man...... And it wasn't a situation where we could get the army out."

"But then the inhabitants!

"Our sense of crisis was unusual in the event that the castle of Grania was dropped in a few days. What if it falls to Plenicia? Not only will the surviving people get lost in the streets, but the warcraft multiplied by wins will have pushed them to the western part of the continent."

The spinning words, strangely, did not feel the body temperature.

I don't think that's because it's ruthless, but because it's suppressing emotions and killing them.

Given her deeply emotional nature, it was a feeling that floated naturally.

"It is the duty of the strong to protect the weak. I am aware of that. But I'm sure. Under those circumstances, we were weak, too."

"There's a Plenician with great power?

"Let's see what that means, like numbers. Those who rock, of course, even their ground dragon counterparts don't have teeth. Let us say that you are the few strong men of the continent who have crossed and won each other with that evil god"

"So you think we should have moved? That's an impossible story. Had it not been for the abundant forest with its luxurious magic in the soil, the seal would have failed as well. That's why I couldn't get away from the woods. Assuming you chose a man to send, it would be Haz who was destroyed by the Evil God."

"Yeah, you bet. That's why I'm not picking on you."

So, what is it?

So Mr. Ellis shut his mouth.

He remains silent for a while and moves only a slight expression.

I didn't know if you were swallowing words or choosing them.

With such doubt, its mouth opened again.

"I had no choice, I want to say. You should see that as a disaster. Everybody, he did everything he could to make this happen."

"Does that rationale permeate the people? There were plenty of grudges against the Knights and the court."

"Making choices, and being resented, is our role to stand on top. We don't abandon such anger or disappointment, we carry it."

"... ok. If they say so much, I won't pinch my mouth outside."

"You seem to understand, most importantly."

Then Sister Elena silenced herself.

Far from saying I'm feeling good, but I think I'm somewhat convinced.

From then on, the tense air soothed a little and became a practical story.

Remaining troops, the people, the necessities of the food and drugs they stockpile, the building materials they use to rebuild.

It was lacking no matter how it was calculated.

Still, Prinisia was still a blessed one, and Grania was hopeless.

Because all the storage is in the rubble.

Once again, it made me feel that the reconstruction journey was far away.

"This has got to come at all costs! I'll hang with Uncle Chris."

"I'm sorry. There's no way to reward me for dropping my country..."

"Don't say that! Fortunately, we have plenty of room."

"Representing and thanking the Grannians"

I could do some sorting, and I was just wondering if it was time for the tide.

This is what Mr. Ellis said.

It was an uncomfortable mouthpiece, but it pierced my ear sharply.

"Theresia Knight Plenicia. I order you to return. The country needs that power now."
