And so the big day came and guests arrived one by one. " This place is quite interesting, it resembles our domain rather than that of the Fayera."
A woman with with long blue hair told her friend excitedly as they browsed through the shops.
There were all kinds of pretty dresses and jewellery to look at and the two women were quite excited.
More and more guests arrived but they didn’t go to castle, they book rooms in the hotels to rest.
Amongst them were four who looked out of place but strangely enough, nobody was looking at them as if they couldn’t see them.
" So many things, so many beautiful things, oh how much I want them, how much I want them all."
Envy grinded her own nails to try and calm herself when that didn’t work she stretched her head ripping out her hair.
The hair grew back s moment later, she looked up, " That, I want that." She raised her hand to the sky.
" Usurp." She activated her ability and the wheel in the sky shook and started moving towards her.
Then it stopped and resisted her pull, Envy gritted her teeth, " No no no no, I want it why can’t I have it?"
She started scratching her head like a maniac, the others ignored and faced the two people in front of them.
" I remember you." Said Sam while looking at Greed, " Your face is different but I don’t forget a smell."
Melissa cracked her knuckles," Why bother talking to them, lets just beat the living hell out of them."
She took a step but Sam grabbed her, " That sounds like a lot of work, besides, these guys aren’t that weak."
" Ke ke ke,you don’t have to worry sweetheart, we’re not here to fight, it’s a party and we love parties." Lilith licked her lips seductively.
" Keep it in your pants whore, you say you’re not here to fight but your sister just tried to take something belonging to the boss.
What do you call that?" Melissa was having none of it, in all honesty she was just eager to fight.
Lilith giggled, " A greeting of course, why are your greetings not the same? I do apologise then for the cultural differences."
Melissa knew Lust was mocking her and that made her blood boil, she was short tempered to begin with.
" I’m going to enjoy this." Her aura skyrocketed, she lunged at Lilith and punched but stopped her fist a few centimetres from Lilith’s face.
" Be grateful the boss lady doesn’t want any fighting, I would’ve busted your head like a watermelon."
Lilith just giggled at that, " Alright, it was nice seeing you two and you big boy, if you want a good time, find me."
" Alright that’s it, I’m killing her." Melissa was ready to attack again when Sam grabbed her.
" Don’t cause trouble, let just go back and as for the four of you, if you cause trouble don’t blame us for being impolite."
He warned them then left with a reluctant Melissa who kept glaring at Lilith with venomous eyes.
In the castle, Annie sighed, " Maybe assigning Melissa to police duty was not a good idea, she’s too hot headed."
" It’s fine, Sam can keep her in check, just do what you want to do and leave the rest to them." He reassured her.
" Yeah you’re right, she wouldn’t really start a fight in the city, that would cause too much destruction."
Even though Annie said that, he could hear the uncertainty in her voice. He didn’t say anything.
Knowing Melissa, starting a fight in the city isn’t above her, she really didn’t care much about others.
However he also knew she respected them enough to not defy her orders, he just hoped others wouldn’t break her limits.
Still, he was pissed himself, this was the second time the sins tried to take his wheel and it was getting annoying.
" Alright, let get this over with, where’s the star of the show?" He asked, Annie gave him a necklace and turned around.
She could’ve easily put the thing on her neck without even having to use her hands but she still wanted him to do it.
" She’s preparing, we just need to go welcome the guests."
" Can I not go?" Adrian really had no interest in welcoming some people he doesn’t even want to his castle.
" You’re the leader of the pack, you have to go Adrian, besides, we might be able to reduce the enmity others have for us."
" What do I care what others feel about us? If they want a fight then tell them to come but I’m not going to suck up to them."
" I’m not saying you should suck up to anybody but having too many enemies is not good for us.
As strong as you are, you’re not invincible, we’ve just been lucky so far and none of the Demigods have decided to attack.
Also, you need to make sure those sin siblings don’t mess everything up, I don’t want snt casualties because of them."
" Why do I have to be the one to do that?" Adrian was frustrated, he didn’t want this whole ceremony thing anyways.
" Because you’re the man, do you want me a delicate woman to go talk to terrifying demons?" She hugged and smiled.
" Oh please, you can’t use the sex card on me, you’re werewolf, your sex is meaningless in determining your strength."
She giggled, " Still, I want my man to deal with the dangerous things for me, which woman doesn’t want to feel protected besides their man?"
" Alright, I’ll go deal with them." He turned to leave.
" Remember, nothing that will damage the city, try... talking to them first and see her that goes."
He nodded, she didn’t look convinced, " I’m serious, don’t go there and start throwing punches and biting them."
" Stop worrying yourself so much, I swear I’ll talk to them first." She still didn’t look convinced but nodded.
" Make sure to be back soon, I need you there when we’re welcoming the guests."
" Fine fine, I’ll try to make this quick." He disappeared.
’ Make this quick? Those words are never followed by anything peaceful but he wouldn’t dare.’
Adrian appeared in a Casino and people were gambling like crazy, others fighting over gems.
Others doing adult stuff right there on the betting tables without caring that others were watching them.
" Stop, don’t cause any trouble." His voice pierced through the loud casino drowning all the noise.
" My my my, if it isn’t the handsome wolf, what can we help you heart of destruction?" Lilith asked.
" You were told not to cause trouble, what is this?" He asked.
" We’re sins, we do what we have to do, you can’t deny us our nature heart of destruction." Greed argued.
Adrian sighed, " Well I tried talking."
