No chains struck at them. No bound messengers blocked the path. The Heart of Chains had accepted the transfer.

At the base of the spire the wide plaza still carried the scars of the earlier fight. Broken links and cracked living metal littered the surface.

The damage was already beginning to mend under the new gold pulse, edges sealing, surfaces smoothing.

They crossed the plaza and began the long return through the middle and lower wards. Streets that had been filled with slow-moving bound now stood clearer.

Many of the iron collars and linking threads had changed color. A few of the bound had sunk to their knees as the group approached and remained there until they passed.

Vespera spoke quietly. "She released the ones who still remembered their names. The rest stay bound under your mark. They will not rise against you."

Levi nodded once. He kept walking.

By the time they reached the outer platform where the great chain connected to the floating city, the crystal sky had begun to darken toward evening.

The bottomless pit below remained black and endless. The chariot still waited on the platform, the four slime-headed horses standing quiet.

Nima sat on the driver’s bench, eyes wide as she stared up at the transformed city.

She dropped to one knee the moment Levi stepped onto the platform. "Master. The light changed. The chains changed. I felt it from here."

"Rise," Levi said. "We leave."

The six of them entered the chariot. Levi took the center seat. Lucy sat on his right. Vespera took the left. Serakel, Isha, and the Reverend Mother Superior settled across from them.

The scent of the long climb and the final claim still clung faintly to their skin and clothes.

Nima cracked the reins. The chariot lifted with a low roar of blue light and turned away from the Heart of Chains.

The floating city of living metal and gold-touched chains fell behind them as they flew toward the outer edges of Neverland.

For a long time no one spoke. The land below shifted from the black stone plains to the cracked edges of the bone swamps, then to darker forests and empty reaches.

The pressure of the Mother’s former domain faded with distance until only the steady warmth of the Sovereign marks remained.

Lucy broke the silence first. "The way out. Shallot said it would take days and obedience, or that you would be allowed to leave once the Lust Goddess was claimed. You claimed far more than her."

Levi rested one hand on her thigh. "The path will open. Neverland no longer has a single witch strong enough to hold the gates against me."

Serakel’s third eye remained half open, watching the horizon. "The higher realms will feel this. Lysara already fled. Others may not ignore what happened here."

"Let them feel it," Levi said. "They can come to me if they want answers."

Isha’s slimy fingers curled lightly against her own knee. The Reverend Mother Superior sat in quiet composure, the last remnants of her torn white gown still marked by the journey.

Vespera’s living eyes stayed on the passing land, the last green light long gone from them.

The chariot flew through the night. Blue light from the horses cut a steady path across the dark. Below them the territories of the claimed witches lay quiet under the new order.

The northern convent, the bone swamps, the slime domains, the holy halls, and the Heart of Chains itself all carried the same golden pulse now.

Near dawn the air ahead began to change. A faint shimmer rose from the ground like heat, though the temperature stayed cold. Nima guided the horses lower.

"Master," she called back. "The outer gate of Neverland. It was sealed when you first arrived. It is open now."

Levi looked forward. A wide arch of black stone stood alone on a flat plain of gray dust. Beyond it the air rippled.

Through the ripple he could see the faint outline of a different sky, crystal blue instead of the dark of Neverland.

The path home.

He felt the Sovereign Sigil pulse once, hard and steady.

[Domain Claim: Neverland – Primary Authorities Subjugated]

[Exit Path: Stable]

[Host Status: Ready for return]

Levi leaned back in the seat. Lucy’s hand covered his. Vespera’s shoulder rested lightly against his other side.

Across from him the remaining three women watched the open gate with expressions that mixed relief and something deeper.

"Take us through," Levi said.

Nima cracked the reins one final time. The chariot surged forward. Blue light flared bright as they passed under the black stone arch.

The cold of Neverland fell away. Warm air and the clear light of the crystal sun washed over them. The gray dust became ordinary earth.

In the far distance the familiar shapes of Aethermoor’s outer lands rose against the morning sky.

Levi looked at the five women seated with him and at the open land ahead.

The return had begun. The marks they carried would not fade. Neither would the claim he had left behind in the land of the witches.

Neverland was his. The world above would learn it soon enough.

...

The chariot touched down on ordinary earth. Warm air and the clear light of the crystal sun settled over the group.

Behind them the black stone arch of the Neverland gate still stood open, the ripple in the air fading slowly.

Nima slowed the horses to a stop. Dust rose around the wheels. Lucy was the first to step down, boots landing on solid ground that did not pulse or shift.

Serakel, Isha, the Reverend Mother Superior, and Vespera followed. Levi stepped out last.

For a long moment no one spoke. The familiar shape of Aethermoor’s outer hills rose in the distance. Birdsong carried on the breeze. It was the world they had left behind.

Lucy looked back at the open gate. "The path is still open."

Levi’s Sovereign Sigil pulsed once under his robe. He felt the golden marks on the five women answer it, a quiet pull that did not come from the surface world.

Vespera’s living eyes stayed on the arch. "Neverland does not release what it has claimed so easily. The gate remains open because you hold the center. If we leave it now, others may try to close it from the inside."

Serakel’s third eye opened fully. "There are still regions we did not touch. The deeper pits. The forgotten courts. Places even the Mother of Chains only sealed and never ruled."

Isha’s voice was soft. "And the ones who fled when the Heart fell. They will regroup if we do not return."
