Green leaves danced at the front of the Aethermoor Academy’s gate, as golden beams of the crystal sun stretched through the sky.

Silver hair wobbled down Lyra Ashveil’s back as she closed in on the black-furred horse. "Are you sure you aren’t coming, Saintess?"

Sunflower scent erupted from Saintess Lilith as she sighed. "Yeah."

Her shoulders heaved with a deep breath as her gaze shifted to the sky. "I can’t just leave like that."

Her cheeks glowed while watching colorful birds fly across the sky, harmonizing the air with their cries. "I left my post for a long while."

She blinked, bringing her attention back to Lyra. "They need me just as you need me."

Mimi dashed forward with her red hair sweeping through the air, wrapping her arms around Lilith’s shoulders. "We do too... Master needs you."

Saintess Lilith’s sunflower scent seeped into Mimi’s lungs during the embrace. "I know... I would have joined you guys if I were able to divide myself into multiple versions."

A pleasant breeze stirred between the four lewd ladies as they burst into laughter. "Don’t be silly, Lilith."

Lyra moved a step forward and placed a hand on her shoulder. "No human can; only the gods are able to do that."

Silver glows flashed on Lyra’s face as Clara closed in on them and rested her hands on their shoulders. "What if one of us reaches god level?"

Her huge breasts heaved as she giggled.

"It’s not that easy to become a god, Clara." Saintess Lilith shifted a joyous gaze to her. "It takes a long time for that to happen. And..."

She glanced at the white horse and sighed. "You would have to make a lot of sacrifices before you could attain that."

Mimi pulled herself back with a shocked face. "Sacrifices? Then I can say I’m on the verge of becoming a god..."

Clara shook her head, brown hair swaying against her shoulders. "Silly you... what sacrifices have you made that give you the hope to even say that..."

Mimi moved a step back as quiet thoughts settled in her mind. ’I broke the vigil of my relationship with my lesbian partner.’

She closed her eyes and brushed her palms over her face. ’That alone is enough sacrifice. Because it’s not something that most people can do.’

Saintess Lilith, Lyra Ashveil, and Clara looked at her with shocked faces when Mimi cracked her eyes open.

"What?" She screamed in a joyful tone and laughed heartily. "Why are you all staring at me as if..."

Dust puffed around Clara’s boots as she moved a step forward. "Nothing..."

She poked Mimi’s left shoulder, then sighed.

Just as Saintess Lilith brushed her palms down the base of her neck, Lyra cleared her throat. "Did you guys also feel the marks on you pulsing these recent nights?"

Saintess Lilith let out a soft breath as she looked at Lyra with a sarcastic gaze. "Yeah. That gives us more proof for you guys to go and inform the rest at the central city."

Her shoulders lowered when she turned and looked at the passersby. "While I also manage the affairs of this land."

The white horse whinnied faintly and drummed its hooves on the ground when Saintess Lilith turned.

"Hey..." Clara and Mimi walked to it and began brushing their palms on its skin. "It’s okay..."

Mimi blinked at Clara as she warmly caressed the horse’s head. "We are here to take care of you..."

Saintess Lilith’s body moved with sea-wave grace as she turned toward the passing crowd of lewd ladies. ’I guess I have to be off for a while and make them do the necessary things to bring Master back.’

Shouts erupted from behind her, but she didn’t turn back. ’It was nice making amends with Master...’

A thick knot tightened in her throat as she reached the center of the crowd and stopped. ’Being around Master and every other lady has made me know how much peace life gets when you’re around the ones you cherish.’

Golden locks flapped on her shoulders in the warm air. ’And that is something I will never forget.’

Levi’s smiling face reeled before her eyes as she remembered how he looked the day she walked to the council room and saw his bravery. ’I sensed his destiny from the moment my eyes fell on him.’

Bright petals flashed by her right foot as she continued her walk.

Just as she reached the front of the grand tower of the Academy, all the elders stood aside and bowed. "Saintess... it’s been a while."

Saintess Lilith blinked at them one after another while walking through the space in front of them with the poise of an adorned bride.

Her hips swayed with every step until the elders began closing in behind her.

...

Tears trailed down Mimi’s cheeks as she watched the crowded alleyway with a saddened face. ’Oh, Saintess...’

Her huge chest rose as she closed her eyes and took in a long, deep breath. ’She was a good person.’

Clara poked Mimi on the shoulder and laughed. "Stop pretending to cry and let’s get going."

The white horse sighed heavily as it lowered its front legs, bending down.

Clara brushed her palms on the horse’s skin as she watched Mimi climb onto it. "See, it’s beginning to see through your tears..."

She let out a faint giggle, then mounted in front of Mimi.

Mimi wrapped her arms around Clara’s stomach and lowered her head at her back. "Animals do have emotions. Maybe it’s sad because it senses it will never meet the beautiful Saintess again."

Clara gripped the guide rope around the horse’s neck and adjusted herself. "Saintess Lilith may not use it, but the same spirit that runs in her runs in us."

She nodded when Lyra Ashveil also climbed onto the black horse. "So long as there are lots of signs indicating Master is alive, we are all one."

Faint stone-juggling sounds erupted as the horses walked through the Academy’s main iron door.

Dry foliage reeled in front of the black horse as Lyra exited first. ’Let’s see if Clara can maintain the same pace I moved with Saintess Lilith.’

A wicked smile tore onto her face when the white horse also exited. "Are you ready?"

Clara looked at Lyra with a confused gaze. "For what?"

Just as the black horse let out a loud snort, dust puffed upward and fogged the street.

Mimi used Clara’s back as a shield to save herself from the cloud, while Clara waved her left palm, swiping the dust off her face.

Clara sputtered, coughing through the haze the moment the dust faded. "Really?!"

Mimi’s head hit Clara’s back as she urged the horse, trying to catch up with the black horse Lyra was on... "Hey, wait!"
