Devil's Music
69th Edition: Visual Scandal Part 4.
Boom!!
“Boss, this doesn't make sense!!! ”
Lucas, who came to Daniel Weiss' office early this morning, was furious with the paperwork on his desk.
“You said changing all the placements wouldn't be a bad idea to try! But look at this list! ”
Daniel Weiss takes the documents that Lucas gave him and starts reading them leaning against the chair. Lucas throws up his pants at Daniel Weiss like that.
“Monet and Gogh are completely different winds! The colors you use and the refraction of your light are completely different! And you left two paintings side by side! Not only that, but so are the other paintings, so it is in your right mind to put the swallow flower next to Gogh's self-portrait! ”
Daniel Weiss looks at Lucas and passes over the paperwork without a word. Lucas yells at himself for being frustrated.
“Let's say deployment is! Yes, I can accept it! You can try and change it back if you don't like it! But check out the music playlist on the next page! ”
Daniel Weiss handes over the documents to Lucas and twists his eyebrows.
“James ingram? Just once? ”
Lucas jumps up and down with a fat body.
“Yes! You can put it back on, but playing pop music at our prestigious museum! James Ingram, the black singer! This is a matter of honor for our museum! Once a dishonor is broken, it's hard to take it back! ”
Daniel Weiss leaves the documents on his desk, approaches the window frame, crosses his arms, looks out the window, and thinks: Daniel Weiss thought for a moment and said to Lucas,
“Why did you choose pop music? ”
Lucas clenches his fist as if it were frustrating.
“No, does it matter why now? Our honor is about to hit the ground, it doesn't matter why, and I don't want to hear it! ”
Daniel Weiss touches his chin and says,
“I did not appear to be a student who would act without reason. I want Abigail Chaser, please. I have to ask her.”
Lucas picks up the documents on his desk and leaves the room.
“This! You must stop it! ”
Daniel Weiss sighs and shakes his head as he leaves the room, slamming shut. After a short while, you hear a gentle knock. Daniel Weiss, looking out the window, said:
“Come in. ”
Abigail stood in front of the desk and opened the door so carefully that there was no sound, and Daniel Weiss said.
“Thank you for your hard work. I wanted to ask you a question. ”
As Abigail held her hands together and asked what the question was, Daniel Weiss asked.
“Our museum has traditionally chosen and played classical musicians. But one of the songs selected this time was pop. Did you hear what Abigail meant by that? ”
Abigail bows her head as if she had sinned.
“It tried to stop me, but it just laughed. ”
Daniel Weiss asked again.
“Didn't you say something special? ”
Abigail wriggles her hands.
“Well, well. A. I think he said the word" placement according to emotion, maximization of emotion due to music. "I also heard a murmur that the lyrics of emotions were bigger than the music. ”
Daniel Weiss blindfolds his lips with his serious eyes, thinking. Abigail was agitated to see Daniel Weiss with a serious face.
Daniel Weiss thought long and hard and suddenly saw the clock on the wall. The opening time was about 30 minutes ago. Daniel Weiss got up and told Abigail.
“Let's go to the gallery. and see how the viewers react. Where are the curators? ”
Abigail stepped back, not interfering with Daniel Weiss' plot to leave.
“Yes, everyone saw the music list this morning and went to the exhibition hall to see it. ”
Daniel Weiss nods and leaves the room.
“Good. We'll go, too. ”
Daniel Weiss and Abigail had to stop walking through a long stay-only corridor to the employee entrance of the 19th century European Gallery. It was because many curators were standing in front of the door to the exhibition hall in the employee hallway looking out. The employees were surprised to see each other again with their eyes wide open.
The curators who realized that Daniel Weiss had appeared behind him hurriedly stepped aside, and asked Daniel Weiss.
“What's going on? ”
As the curators struggled and could not speak, Kate put on a red dress and darkened her makeup.
“Starting today, the placement of the exhibition has changed, so I came by, but the crowd's reacting strangely.”
Daniel Weiss asked after cleaning a kate that was too dark.
“What's weird? ”
Kate raises her hands to the exhibition hall, looking embarrassed as if it were hard to explain.
“You'd better see for yourself. ”
Daniel Weiss stares at Kate and walks out the door. The staff only entrance was at the beginning of a 19th-century European painting hall. The first time I entered the exhibition, I could see the words in his eyes.
Pleasure.
Daniel Weiss tilted his head in an unfamiliar way and entered the exhibition hall. Inside the exhibition hall, there were many family visitors. All the children who used to run around without paying attention to painting were gathering in front of the painting, smiling and talking to their parents, pointing to the painting. The parents who were talking with the child also had bright expressions.
Daniel Weiss watched those spectators and listened to music that was playing at a size that would not bother him.
"Beethoven's Symphony Choir." It's a good song. If all the emotion lines in this place are aligned with joy, there's no better tune than this. ’
Daniel Weiss nods his head and walks through the door of the next exhibition. There were fewer people watching than the first exhibition hall, and there were even middle-aged ladies and gentlemen with white hair and shiny scarves.
“Huh? What is this place? ”
Daniel Weiss raises his head and looks up at the horse hanging from the ceiling.
“Miss”
Daniel Weiss turns his head and looks at the faces of the audience. The old lady in front of the picture looked at the painting with her poor eyes and pulled out the handkerchief from the bag and wiped her tears. It was not surprising that visitors who were impressed with the painting would cry a lot, but the problem was that they had a tremendous amount of time to stand in front of one painting.
Daniel Weiss stood there for a moment and measured the time that his grandmother moved from the painting to the next picture.
Ten minutes to look at a drawing? ’
When Daniel Weiss looked around, he saw the audience standing in front of the same picture 10 minutes after entering the exhibition hall. Daniel Weiss listens to music that flows smaller and smaller around the audience.
It's Schubert. It's called, "Only he who understands longing can understand my pain." ’
Daniel Weiss passes through the crowd. The next exhibition hall had the phrase "love," and cloud-like lovers were watching the exhibition with happy smiles. Daniel Weiss nods as he looks around the exhibition hall with many words.
“Good job believing that. It was the right shot.”
Daniel Weiss entered the last exhibition hall and was surprised to see the inside.
“No? What's going on here? ”
Inside the exhibition hall, music was playing with a slightly louder sound than ever before, and the music was called "The Jude Ones" by James Ingram in question. There wasn't a problem there, but many of the spectators were crying or holding back their tears. Among them was a woman who ran out of the exhibition hall with a handkerchief covering her face. Daniel Weiss looks around, surprised, and sees someone crouching on the floor of the exhibition hall in one corner.
Daniel Weiss, a curious figure, approaches him, and he is the case. Sitting with his back against the wall, crouching so as not to disturb the spectators was observing the spectators' reactions. Daniel Weiss thought, watching it from a distance.
"Professor Leontin Price was right. Genius.”
Daniel Weiss approaches. When Daniel Weiss appeared, he stood up in a hurry to watch the people sitting on the floor.
“Daniel Weiss. How are you?”
Daniel Weiss, smiling face to face, stood up and said, holding his hand.
“Haha, what a surprise, Mr. Gun. This shows that you've already succeeded without having to look at the retention time data per picture of the exhibition. Haha”
The gun grabs his hand and scratches at Daniel Weiss, waving his cheek.
“Oh, yes. I'm glad you like it. I thought the music was getting to me. ”
Daniel Weiss smiles and says:
“That was a great song. But, Mr. Kim. Is there a reason for you to bring your final exhibition here titled" Farewell "and for choosing pop music as your playback? ”
Gun smiles at Daniel Weiss.
“Mr. Weiss. Do you also think classical music is the only high quality music? ”
As if it wasn't Daniel Weiss, Gun said.
“Yes, that's right. Music has to be played based on the emotions of the listener in order to be more effective. The feeling of separation is one of the great sorrows that a human being can feel. to maximize his performance by choosing music that contains intuitive lyrics rather than music. ”
The gun smiles and raises its index finger.
“Someone taught me that quality music is rubbish, not taking into account the emotions of the listener. ”
Daniel Weiss nods loudly and shakes his head.
“Excellent lesson. Mr. Kim, who is this teacher? Are you Professor Price?”
John Lennon's face was overlapped in his dreams above the pictures he was looking at while smiling without words.
I could hear his words in my dreams.
“Music that doesn't take the listener into account is just a feast for a few critics. Music has its origins in primitive percussion. Either to finish the hunt and dance joyfully, or to mourn and mourn the dead. Music made without consideration for the listener's feelings is rubbish. ”
The moment you think about it, you grin, holding Daniel Weiss' hand.
