Devil's Music
< 138: Stoker and Orchestra and Zoo Part 7. >
The zoo life was surprisingly simple. After completing the musical notes, he did not leave the zoo, got up at dawn, circled the animal cages and served as a caretaker for pie and Ricky during the day. After dinner, I went up the hill above the forest to sing and watch the scenery, and one day I sat in a cage, and another day I sang in front of the monkey cage and spent time with the animals.
However, some people were troubled, unlike normal, happy lives.
In the zoo's office, Emma, the zookeeper, was happy to look at the documents. Emma makes a happy face and then looks troubled again. Olivia comes into the office with a barrel of empty food, looking at Emma and asking.
“Prelate, is something wrong? ”
Emma was slightly surprised when she didn't notice Olivia coming in while focusing on the paperwork.
“Ah! Olivia. When did you get here? I'm surprised. ”
Olivia smiles bloody and approaches Emma and asks.
“What kind of document makes you smile, then make a worrying face? ”
Emma picked up the documents and said,
“Well, it's a health indicator for our zoo animals, and this week's indicators are a little bit odd than last week's. ”
Olivia opens her eyes and takes a look at the documents.
“Yes? What? Are there any sick animals? ”
Emma looks up at Olivia, sitting at her desk.
“No, on the contrary. There were no sick animals, but they were healthier. ”
“Yes? What's wrong with that? It's good that animals are healthy, isn't it, Prelate? ”
“Yes, it's a good thing. But Olivia · · ·"
Olivia looks down at Emma with her ponytail, and she looks troubled.
“We can't predict the health of animals from other countries in the United States and climate. If you don't know the reason for all of a sudden your health, or for all of a sudden your health, your current health can change in an instant. It's good to be healthy, but it's unsettling to not know why. ”
Olivia nods and looks at the document again.
“It could be. But here in the desert fox, Ellen's been suffering from a fever all week, and now she's completely normal? I only heard the story, not my responsibility, but last week my manager was determined that I should prepare my mind. ”
Emma folds her arms.
“I know. He's been treating it constantly, but he's a kid who's been half-giving up on climate adaptation, and he's been running around with other desert foxes in a week. Strange, isn't it?”
Olivia ponders for a moment and then says,
“Do you have any history of changes in the medication used for treatment or changes in food? ”
“Nothing. Nothing. You know, Alan's condition is overwhelming, and veterinarians have done a lot of work. We couldn't feed them, so we had to give them fluids. ”
“Yes, veterinarians couldn't even estimate the disease. ”
“Yes, but after two days of self-feeding like a lie, on the third day, I wake up and play like a lie. I like being healthy, but I'm nervous. ”
“Well, that's strange. It's no different than usual. ”
The two people who were discussing their concerns for a long time, but did not come to a very different conclusion. After a long time of closing the zoo, after Emma had finished talking, Olivia thought she was walking to her room by herself.
‘It's weird. The Prelate has every reason to be insecure. ’
Olivia went up to her place to have dinner with Alisa, Taylor, and Gunn and then went out for a walk to the zoo late at night, but when she couldn't find the answer, she was frustrated. It was over ten o'clock, so the zoo was very quiet for all staff except the security guard.
Olivia hears a faint song in Olivia's ears, running through the grass and watching Ricki chase after butterflies. The sound of the song resounded like a whisper with a guitar playing very quietly.
! "Everybody's looking for that something!"
Somebody's looking for something.
"One thing that makes it all complete"
(Just one thing to fill everything)
Olivia steps forward without even knowing it, and heads to the place where she can hear the song. Little Bear Ricky swoops his ears and chases after Olivia. Olivia walks past the polar bear cage, past the wolf cage and past the glass exhibit where the reptiles gather, approaching a hill with a large bird cage. The size of the cage was similar to a small apartment, with benches stretching around the circular cage. As I approached the cage, I heard the song a little louder.
"You find it in the strangest places"
You find something in the most unfamiliar places.
"Places you never thought it could be
(Somewhere I never thought I'd find it)
Olivia looks up and sees the birds in the cage. As the man approaches, the birds that were flying with scattered wings slumber on the tree branches or on the floor, even as Olivia approaches. When Olivia looks around the cage at the birds, she sees him sitting on a bench far away playing the guitar.
The beautiful boy closed his eyes and died quietly and sang a song that relaxed his mind like a lullaby.
"Who can deny the joy it brings"
(Who can deny the joy of discovery?)
"When you find that special thing"
When you discover something special.
"You're flying without wings"
You can fly without wings.
I'm staring at Olivia's singing. It was so beautiful to close my eyes and sing with a big smile about what was so fun. Olivia stands there, unable to take her eyes off the gun for a long time. After a while Olivia regains her senses, she looks for Ricky to stay out of the way so she doesn't disturb the case.
Olivia looks around, lying in the grass next to her, sleeping Ricky. With a smile, Olivia carefully hugs Ricki and kills her footsteps, making her way down the birdhouse hill. When Olivia smiles at the sound of the beautiful song, she sees the invisible animals.
Olivia looks around at us animals with surprised eyes. The squirrel monkeys, who were always near begging for food and running around on trees, were rubbing their sleepy eyes or sleeping on the tree. Olivia looks away, looking at us without making a sound.
The polar bear, who was always limping like it was hot or huffing and going into the water to cool down, was sleeping with a cheerful groan. While the beast was still sleeping, the sleeping wolves scattered one by one and fell asleep on the ground, not circling around the corner.
Olivia hugs Ricky and looks at all the animals in the zoo. Not a single animal appeared anxious or asleep. Olivia looks back at the gun, surprised. The sound of the song is heard in the wind, regrettably from afar.
"You're the place my life begins"
You're where my life begins.
"And you'll be where it ends"
I'll be done with you by the end of my life.
"I'm flying without wings"
(I can fly without wings)
"And that's the joy you bring"
And it's your pleasure.
"I'm flying without wings.."
(I can fly without wings…)
Olivia listens, her eyes fixed in the direction of the song for a moment. She smiles deeply.
“Oh, you can't...”
Olivia picks up Ricky while she's asleep and heads to her lodging. The peaceful night at the Bronx Zoo is in the depths.

The next day, news of the birth of a new baby was brought to Olivia's zoo. As the scattered breeders moved faster from dawn, they finished their work and ran to the delivery room, they put down their cleaning tools and headed back to their homes. The window of the truck that was passing by the house on its own opens and Olivia reaches out her head.
“Kay, where are you going? ”
The case turned red and said.
“Oh, everyone else is in the delivery room. I'm going back to the lodge. ”
Olivia smiles and nods.
“Come on, it's sterile now, so you can see it from the outside. ”
“Wow! Really? I missed you so much! Thank you, Olivia! ”
Olivia starts the car, smiling coldly as she gets in the car. After a three-minute run, it was sterile in an animal-only delivery room. Inside the window, a little, black, cute baby gorilla wriggles her fingers, her mouth squirming without even opening her eyes. Seeing the breeders gathered at the window and celebrating the birth of the baby gorilla, he approached the window and looked at the beautiful baby.
The birth of life has always been mysterious. The baby gorilla, lying alone in a sack, is constantly moving to announce the birth of a small life. The gun smiles with a finger against the window.
“Did you name the baby? ”
Olivia folds her arms around you and watches, saying,
“I haven't named her yet. It's usually built by the Prelate. ”
“I see. So cute. ”
You hear Emma's voice, watching the gorilla from a long window.
“K. Famous guest at our zoo! I think if Kay gives you a name, the baby will like it, too. ”
The shocked eye turns to Emma and the baby gorilla, pointing to itself with its index finger.
“Me? Me? Can I?”
Emma nods, smiling, and the gun looks at the baby gorilla. Rounded nostrils with a slightly wild nose, eyes that look slightly larger than their face, given the size of closed eyes, yet to be opened. A small, shoulder-width baby gorilla lies motionless.
For a moment, you look at the gorilla and think about something hard, raising your hands high with a big smile.
“Look alike!! Yes!! Shihua! I'll take a poem, Prelate! ”
