Devil's Music

< 288: Fury (Fury) Part 9. >

After leaving the practice room, Byung-jun, who shrugged and lit a cigarette in the alley where the cold winter wind was blowing, called. After five or six signals, a slightly lively voice flows out of the phone.

“Hello?"

“Uh, Gunny. Have you slept?”

“Yes, brother. I've been up for about an hour. ”

“Yes, well done. This is Mexico. I just forwarded the music to Carlos. ”

“Really? What do you say? ”

“Let's do it. You said a lot of difficult things, so I didn't understand half of it. BPM, Metallica, Tuning, I don't remember. ”

“Haha, I see. Well, I'm glad you did. ”

“By the way, You must have made a mistake when you recorded the guide. ”

“Yes?”

“I heard that the guide CD is a little different from the sheet music. ”

“Is that possible? ”

“Carlos said it himself. He said it would be the right thing to do. ”

“Oh · · If it's wrong, the music emotions will be completely different · · · Oh, I can't confirm that I didn't make a copy. Dean, I'm going to Mexico tomorrow, so can you have Carlos record the vocal line right away? You can check the sheet music and just throw the recording away. ”

“Would you? Well · · · Then what am I supposed to do? I was going back to my flight tonight because of Shizuka's schedule. ”

“Oh, I'll go alone, then. Text me the address of the practice room. ”

“Hmm.. I'm a little worried · · ·? ”

“Haha, I'm not a child. I'm not worried about anything. Please take good care of Kiska. I don't know how many days. ”

“Huff! Oh, no! I'm not going home until you come back! I'll sleep at the hotel! ”

“Haha, don't do that. You're lonely in Kiska.”

“Do you know what it's like to be hit every morning!! I stepped on your belly every morning without you, and it would hurt worse if I stepped on you in my sleep. ”

“Puhaha, what is it? We Kiska are so cute and nice. ”

“ · · ·. He's cute and nice to you, man. How much · · for Shizuka · ”

“Yes? Shizuka? ”

“Oh, no. That's a load of crap. Mm-hmm. What are they doing tomorrow? ”

“Yes, brother. But what about Shizuka?

“Well, I'll tell him! Then I'll hang up!”

“Brother? Hello? Brother??"

When I looked at the disconnected phone, I was impressed and threw the phone to the side while lying on the couch.

“What are you talking about? ”

The next day.

Before Kiska woke up, he flew out of Red Castle to Mexico City on a plane. A commotion almost broke out at the airport for a moment, but a cab ride silenced the commotion by leaving a sign and a picture arrived in Montana's practice room. When he pulled the carrier and guitar out of the cab, Kevin reached out his face and welcomed Kevin's open arms as he was about to knock on the practice room door.

“Kay! You made it! ”

I asked Kevin to hold me in his arms for a smile.

“How did you know I was here? ”

Kevin grabs the gun, shoulder to shoulder.

“Haha, I've been waiting for you to come here yesterday. As soon as I heard the cab. Haha”

“Hehe, I see. What about Carlos?"

“Uh, he's waiting inside. Drum sessions. ”

“Session? We just need to record the vocaline. What did you do that for? ”

Kevin taps his shoulder and smiles.

“Carlos wants to take lessons from the original. That's why I brought Drummer. Let's go inside!”

Carlos is in the recording booth teaching Drummer something.

“That's not it, Jose. How many times do I have to tell you that BPM needs to be different around here? ”

Kevin looks at Carlos' stuffy eyes and looks at the door of the recording booth.

“Here comes Kay. ”

Carlos smiles, pushing Kevin away as he quickly turns into a frown.

“Oh! Kay! There you are!”

“Haha, Carlos. How's it going? ”

“Phew, it's a mess if you don't come. Come in.”

Being dragged into the recording booth by Carlos, he sat on a drum and greeted a Mexican middle-aged man with a headphone who was frowning. As soon as Drummer saw the case, he took off his headphones and asked for a handshake.

“Oh, it's good to see you, Kay. Jose Alanis. It's an honor to meet you. ”

Gun smiles, holding Jose's hand.

“Greetings, Jose. This is Kay."

“Haha, I was dying because of Carlos' nagging, but that's good. After you learn a little from Kay, you'll be less insulted, right? Haha”

“Hehe, we should try that. ”

Gun turns to Carlos and asks.

“But they say the score is different from the guide CD. What do you mean?”

Carlos gives me the sheet music as if he had remembered it, and then sticks out his headphones.

“Well, take a listen. But it's no big deal. Someone noticed that the score was right. I hear you've been working nights. These are common mistakes. Just stick to the music. ”

After he received the sheet music from Carlos, his expression hardens. Kevin cautiously asks, noticing a strange look on his face when he looks at the sheet music without saying anything.

“What's the matter? Is there a problem? ”

The gun rubs your finger against the note with a purple trim.

“What is this · · · ·? ”

Carlos approaches and looks at the sheet music and asks.

“What's on the sheet music? I handled it carefully.”

“No, that's not it · · · ·. I'm just practicing. I'm going to need to look at some more music. ”

As the gun exits the booth, the three remaining people look at each other, shrugging their shoulders and then resuming their practice. Out of the recording booth, a sheet of music is placed on the office table, crouching her chin.

Purple borders. I've never seen it before · · · '

You took Haku out of the guitar case he brought in and played the note the musical notes pointed to. When I played half the song, I sighed.

"Better than the first song I ever made! What did I do? ’

The gun scraped my head and got stuck in thought.

‘I drew a note full of red. However, there is a purple border on eight words of a note. What's going on? How do you make this rim more than that? Did I really invent this in my sleep? ’

The gun twitches its chin and looks down at the sheet sheet.

‘We have to find out. How to draw borders. Sleep or whatever, this is my music. We have to figure out a way to make music like this again. ’

The gun runs to the recording booth and asks Kevin.

“Kevin, can you copy here? ”

Kevin, who was practicing on the bass guitar, points to the office computer.

“Uh, I can do a composite next to that PC. Why?”

“No!”

The gun quickly inserts the sheet music into the composer and presses Copy. After a generous copy of about ten parts of the sheet music, the gun that put the original into the bag flashes into the recording booth with the copied sheet.

‘For now, start recording. We should take the original sheet music and go back and study it. ’

When the case came in, the band member stopped practicing and looked forward to it. He shared the copied sheet of music with me.

“The original seems to be in some trouble, so I should probably take it. Here's a copy. Let's start practicing. Let's start with Carlos. ”

The idea of taking the original started playing a song that Carlos had already practiced. Songs that started with the fast BPM beat rhythmically past Verse 1. I nodded my head when I saw Carlos playing with satisfied eyes, not with drums, not with a matronome, but with the right rhythm.

“That's Carlos. ”

Carlos smiles as he admits it, reinforces his impression and kicks the distortion in front of his feet.

“But he's losing control of the disk! ”

You smile, picking up the rolling distortion.

“Haha, you may have enjoyed playing it loud and clear. ”

The gun distorts to 7.6 and Lo to 8 and Hi to 3. Finally, when I reached level 6, I felt distortion.

“Now, this is the note I had in mind. Distortion is SM7, so I put up Lo a little bit more. If it was a Boss product, it would have been seven. ”

Carlos accepts the distortion from the case, checks it out, takes out the notebook, logs the numbers and asks.

“Phew, D-drop tuning is a lot of weight on a 7.6. ”

Kevin gives out his guitar, confirming that Carlos plugs the jack into the foot of the distortion and plugs it into the guitar.

“Me?”

The gun shakes its head with a quiet smile.

“You find it yourself. ”

Kevin cries out in tears.

“Why!? Why am I the only one discriminating? ”

The case turned into a serious face and spoke in a bold voice.

“Then it grows. I want to see Kevin be a proper bassist. ”

“Ugh · · · That burdened look! I'm dead. Phew! ”

You smile on Kevin's face, making sure the warmth of the case is enough. Seeing members readying in tune again, he rolled up the sheet music and slapped his palm.

“Now, bass and guitar are coming with me this time. Let's go from the first part of the bass sole, Kevin. Carlos? It will take you a while to find Kevin's Solo Map and the right sound. ”

Seeing Carlos put his guitar down on the stool without a word, he smiles sinisterly at Kevin.

“Now, my friend Kevin? Shall we go?”

“Ugh! OK!! Damn it!”

“Here we go. ”

Kevin, who had his eyes on the guitar string, bowed his head, lowered his body, and started playing a fast and grooved bass solo, immediately heard the sound of the gunshot.

“No!! Kevin, that doesn't sound right. Tone it up! ”

As Kevin immediately adjusts the tone and bounces the strings a few times, the sound of the gunshot pops again.

“No!! You missed your first night. Again!"

Ta-da!

“No!! Kevin, move more middles! ”

Two-two-two.

“No!! Kevin, drop two more tons of trouble! ”

Boom, boom, boom!

“No!! Kevin, the pick-up balance doesn't fit. Control it again!"

“Shhhhh!! You're worse than Carlos! ”

Carlos, who was building his disappearance when he saw Kevin screaming, stood up and nodded to Jose.

“It's going to take all night. Let's go out for a bit and do yogi. ”

Jose, who knew it was his next turn, quickly left the recording booth with Carlos in a cold sweat.
