Devil's Music

< 291: Fury (Fury) Part 12. >

Germany.

A cultural department store in the Dussmann das KulturKaufhaus district of the capital, Friedrich Strasse, Berlin, where large Korean bookstores sell cultural items from the ground floor to the fourth floor, such as books and records. Early in the morning, there was a 1.5-ton truck parked in front of the department store before it opened, and a big, tall guy in a white polo t-shirt with Dutchman's logo was getting out of the truck.

The man in his 50s, who was looking at him with his hands on his waist, shouted in a loud voice.

“Come on, there must be some art history books in here today. Before sending her down to the basement, have the bookstore manager sort out a book for her to put in the main exhibition. Is there anything new on the record? ”

A blonde man, who looked like he was in his early 30s, checked the box and said, "Music."

“Here you go. Gun manager, but the box is too light. Maybe a few. ”

A man in his 50s, called a gun manager, nods, puts his hand under the box that a man in his early 30s brought and lifts it up. The manager held out his lips when he heard the box that felt light.

“Since digital music records don't sell, musicians often only publish digital music. Based on their weight, they only have one or two albums. Sebastian is going to be disappointed because his record store performance dropped and his shoulders froze. Send him up to the record store on the second floor. ”

“Yes, Gun Manager. ”

A 30-something man felt sorry for carrying just one box too light, put another small box on his side and headed to a record store on the second floor. The bookstore on the first floor had a lot of staff going back and forth, displaying new rooms or organizing storage. A man who was watching people move for a while climbs a staircase to the second floor. Unlike the first floor in the eyes of the man who easily climbed the stairs thanks to the light box, only two employees came to the record store cleaning.

The man looks at the two cleaning and smiles at the man sitting at the counter in his 40s, holding the box.

“Sebastian! There's a new record! ”

Sebastian, who was sitting at the counter with his chin bent, turned around and reached out his hand with his unsuspecting eyes.

“What if there's a new record? We're gonna lose the record store. ”

“Haha, but there's still a lot of great musicians singing. Large musicians keep releasing their albums, so they might get a kick out of this. ”

After receiving the box, Sebastian turns to the counter and says,

“Phew, I don't know. Thank you.”

When the man left and Sebastian placed the box on the counter, two men who were cleaning approached. One of the two men, tall and wearing glasses, placed his hand on the box and asked.

“Manager Sebastian. New album released? ”

Sebastian sighs, his hands on his waist, looking at the box.

“Yes, Mathias. Phew. I don't know how much it'll sell. ”

The tall, black man holding the mop next to Mathias asked, raising his glasses.

“Whose album is this? ”

After Sebastian shakes his head, he looks up and down at the fat man.

“I don't know, but Julian, Why do you wear that carnival cops t-shirt all the time? ”

Julian grins and shakes a t-shirt with a carnival corps logo on it.

“It's not even open yet. When you clean, you get dirty when you conquer. It's my favorite band. ”

Sebastian looks at the carnival corps logo carved into Julian's chest and asks.

“Yes, your favorite band, past tense. It's been a while since that band released their last album, right? ”

“Yes, that was the last" A Skeletal Domain "album in 2015. ”

Sebastian shakes his head.

“I understand. Who listens to CDs these days? It's an uncomfortable sound with a CD sticking around. You only need one phone to listen to streaming at a lower price. ”

Mathias, who was listening next to me, interrupts.

“But the metallican albums are only available one minute in advance. So there are quite a few people who buy albums. ”

Sebastian tears the sealed tape from the box with a cutter knife.

“Yes, but not before, when I first started this 17 years ago. The busiest store in Dussman's department store was right here on the second floor. Now, people who've listened to the album in advance are interested in the sound quality of their headphones, and not many people buy the album. Do you know how much we sold last month? ”

Julian asked with a curious expression because the general employee, not a manager, could not have known about sales.

“How much was it?”

Sebastian sighs, not opening the box.

“It was 5,964 euros. A month's revenue from a store that uses the second floor of this big department store. If Chairman Dussman liked music and was not willing to protect the iconic meaning of cultural department stores, this record store would have already turned into an instrument store. ”

Mathias looks suspicious.

“Our labor costs barely cover the electricity. ”

Sebastian grins and puts his hands back on the box.

“I know. But I'm glad the other floors are working. What · · · One sweetness today? ”

Sebastian looked inside the box and saw a box of about a hundred CDs, and he was disappointed. Five posters were rolled next to a hundred CDs. Sebastian's nervously unfolding rubber band around the poster opened the poster with an unexpected look.

The three people who were looking at the poster immediately stopped and the record store was silent. Seeing the poster so intensely, Sebastian was a little surprised at the name of the musician written in a cool handwriting underneath the poster.

“Montana? First album since ‘Guitar Heaven' in 2011? ”

Mathias grips one end of the poster and says,

“Yes, it is. What's this poster for? ”

Julian fixes his glasses with a clawed hand on his fat belly.

“The dragon and tiger are fighting in the background of lava flowing? Looks like a movie poster. Look at the tiger's teeth. ”

“I'm not kidding. Look at me. That's harsh.”

Sebastian looks at the poster for a moment, unpacks a CD and gives it to Julian.

“Register with a sample CD and put it in the store. Mathias put all five posters on the pillars. Ah! One is posted on the new issue board outside the store. ”

“Yes, sir. ”

Sebastian looks down at the CD with an impression of Matthias taking out the poster with his instructions.

“Tsk, Montana's gone by now. What's with the Latin Rock Musician poster? You think you fit in with them? This album will remain a stain on Montana. Another big musician in a cape. ”

Sebastian came back to the counter and tasted it once again, looking at the retail outlets on the PC screen.

“Phew, I have nothing to say at this manager's meeting. ”

Sebastian, who was focused on the PC screen, raised his head to play the bass in his ears.

“What the hell, Julian! I'm playing the Montana album! Aren't you playing carnival corps CDs again? ”

Julian, who was manipulating the office's audio system, shouted loudly.

“Oh, no! This is Montana's album, sir! ”

Sebastian looks up at the ceiling of the record store. His eyes widened and his mouth flared as the quick, heavy bass notes began to play a quickfire guitar tearing the space apart. Soon, the thick, sharp roar filled the store.

“Rrrrgh!!!!!!!!!!! ”

Sebastian gets up in front of the PC.

“What, what! ”

The bookstore staff working on the first floor stopped working on the explosion on the second floor and saw the ceiling. Soon after the vocaline explosion, such as the roar of the battlefield, the first floor staff jumped to the second floor. When Sebastian turned his head to look where the audio system was, he saw Julian headbanging with a excited look at the employees pushing their heads down the stairs and leaning toward the store on the second floor.

“Julian, get me the case of the unpacked CD! ”

Julian quickly picked up the CD case and did not stop shaking his head.

“Wow!! It's totally my style! Doesn't it feel like the guitar and the bass are biting and fighting each other? ”

The moment Julian releases the CD and Sebastian receives it, a heavy roar erupts again.

Every child's story begins with the parents.

(All children's stories start with their parents)

Julian looks at his arm, holding a CD to see if it gives him goosebumps. Sebastian also trembled and pulled out the cover of the album that was embedded in the CD case.

“No, Carlos Montana's guitar was originally classy, so who are bass guitars and vocals anyway? Ugh!!! ”

Seeing Sebastian's eyes pop out, Julian strokes his creepy arm and asks.

“Who are you? Kevin.? Who is this?”

Sebastian looks up at the CD cover and points to one place.

“Look at the ba · · · · vocals. ”

Julian's eyes widened as he raised his glasses while looking at the small writing.

“K · · · · K ·? ”

Sebastian gets up, hitting the table.

Boom!!

“What the hell were you thinking, publishing an album like this without any pre-promotion! It's not a fantasy style! ”

Julian checked the front of the CD and said:

“M-sir. It's Montana's company. ”

Sebastian takes the cover, checks it out, and yells out to the side.

“Mathias!! Mathias!! Call the factory and get more posters!! When the posters get there, they're all over the wall outside the department store! Julian, check out this digital album, too! ”

Julian quickly picked up his phone, checked the music streaming site and said with a happy expression.

“No digital single! Offline ALBUM ONLY! ”

His face brightens and shouts.

“All right! Let's move! ”
