Disciple of Immortal

Episode 58: Evil Cleric Notes

In the central part of the city of Arloburg was the mansion of Garland, the lord.

It is undoubtedly the most gigantic building in this city.

Garland hates being able to see the house to the people, the mansion is covered by high walls and there are always guards roaming around.

In the cellar of its Garland mansion, Garland was taking two men and confronting one young man.

The young man has blue and black hair and a neat face.

At first glance, it was gentle and beautiful with striking details.

There was just a unique demonic vibe that made people anxious to see something.

"No, Nots... you're ready for the ritual, aren't you?

If Garland listens, the youth snorts quietly.

He was one of the "Human Demon Dragons" who made noise all over the kingdom, the "Evil Goddess Notes" himself.

into Garland and was currently in a cooperative relationship with him.

"The stars are all set. The eyes of the upper realm are far away. Lambs are a flock... the spirits sing without waiting for dawn. Will the girl, swallowing sand and holding a dead branch, wake up again to sleep? Even though I knew the rust of the ugly crown was something inherited by Idea? Whose face was on the blade to be returned? No, if that's our grief..."

The notes spin the words with their beauty.

I guess that was like some kind of poem, but the Garlands had no idea what it meant.

Notts opened his eyes thinly to the Garlands and seemed to observe their bewildered bare gestures.

The three of them who received their gaze learned something to calm them down.

He felt his body chill from within and the unpleasant discomfort of his body creeping in.

One of my men slaps me in the face of Garland with fear.

"Dear Garland... this man is a little too creepy. Think about it now…"

"Something you can do, like get down now...! And I will be king with the help of this man...!

Garland had blued his fat dripping ugly face and had a greedy grin.

"Rest assured, Lord. It means we're ready. I would like to thank you for having prepared a large altar called Aaroburg, this city. Now I can… recall the Lord, who has been a grief for generations, and destroy the foolish pigs who devour authority by forgetting their true faith"

Notts opens his mouth small and smiles at Garland.

"I don't want power. I just want to bring the world back to what it should be... by the power of the Fear God. So, as promised, I will make you king."

"Well... I hope so, if...! Huhu... this is the king...!

Garland laughs in a low voice.

The laughter was watched by two of my men with an uneasy face.

"Lord, before the return of the Lord, I have a story for you to hear. Five thousand years ago, the demons and demon kings were so devastating that they could never compare to the present world."

After Garland's laughter settled, Notts slowly began to speak.

"People kept praying for salvation. The end of the prayer that lasted for generations of the weak… In response to that voice, a great giant emerged, greener than the sea. The giant wears a horrible ghost mask, leaving that figure on the mural and on the tablet with a number of arms. The giant is spoken of in the name of Zorophilia, the god of fear."

The notes speak pale.

"Zolophilia destroyed numerous demon kings and made peace with the people. Not only that, but we sometimes went in to stop people from fighting each other in a peaceful world. Yes, Zolophilia knew that if there were no more enemies named Demon King, there would eventually be a dispute between them. And that's also something that I'm sure won't pass by just every beauty. Yes, that horrible mask was meant to stifle stupid people by a whip of fear."

Garland had no inner interest in the faithful God of Notts, but he was listening to the story with a makeover laugh.

If I was in a bad mood, I was a man who didn't know what to do.

"But... oh, what a fool. Peaceful nations eventually became oblivious to Zolophilia. The clan of priests serving Zolophilia who hit my ancestors... were slaughtered by the royal deception of a country that was once supposed to have saved them, and Zolophilia herself, was sealed..."

So far it has been an emotionless narrative, but the words have gradually become angry.

On Garland's face, which had begun to feel disturbing, was beginning to sweat.

"So tiresome...... to justify their own deeds...... distorting history...... stigmatizing our clan and finally proclaiming Zolophilia, who was the God of the Savior, evil! And two thousand years after that... those who still believe in Zolophilia will be killed after miserable torture in every country!

A force was put into Notts' arms, and the cane in his hand was broken.

There was a deep wrinkle in his face because of his anger, which turned him into a ghost-like figure.

From the eyes, tears of blood were beginning to seep.

"Their sins...... no matter how many generations they span, there is no way they will ever fade! Nor can this history be repeated again! The past was a mistake! It was sweet! Humans are nothing but greed-grubbing pigs, dull in pain and gratitude they do not know. We should only give rights to selected special human beings and otherwise manage them as livestock! That's the only way to give pigs eternal enlightenment and lead the world! Awakened from the seal, Zorophilia would rule the world with true fear!

Before the absurd notes of his voice, Garland was stubbornly stiff with a big mouth open.

Garland didn't understand that he was flying this far, either, knowing that Notts would summon something strange to kill him.

The two men under his command were shaking in each other's arms because of so much fear.

Notts throws a broken cane on the floor, wipes the blood of his eyes with the sleeves of his robe and gives him a mild grin.

"You know what I mean...... Lord's Palace?

To Notts' inquiry, Garland nodded twice, like a yarn doll, with his solidified face.
