Disciple of Immortal

Lesson 37: Adventurers' Conference

Leaving the reluctant filia in the inn, me and Pomera were to follow the man with the pointed hat to the Adventurer's Guild.

Phyllia would be impeccable in strength, too, but at any rate, she's just a kid through it.

You should avoid taking him to these places as much as you can because he is a kid who can't do much saving of his power, and he comes from a variety of blow-ups.

"Um, may I ask your name?

I asked the man with the pointy hat as I walked down the night lane.

He nodded lightly.

"It's a jild. I am primarily assisting Mr. Gannett. I already know their names, so you don't have to introduce them."

Were you Gannett's direct report?

Even when I was in the moving carriage, I thought I was strangely tempted to make contact with Pomera.

Gannett also said he heard about us from his men back in Aaroburg.

I hear that was about Zildo.

"... the Demon King might be out there, right?

I've heard about the Demon King from Noble Mimic.

It's about a demonic king who suddenly appears, who commands demons and has the nature to lift their potential.

The body then undergoes self-evolution in a short period, and grows indefinitely.

It seems there are differences in size and level between demon kings as well, but when it is the worst demonic disaster, it is so feared.

Originally, Renaele's resignation from man and his becoming rich were also caused by the Demon King's murder.

"... oh yeah. Apparently, due to previous trends, they're almost certain. Originally, it was strange that a single demon had overflowed this far. There were rumors that there might be a demon king involved."

"Oh, no..."

Pomera blued her face.

The Adventurer Alliance was making a fuss.

I have heard that if you fail to crusade the Demon King, your city or country will perish easily.

This world has basically become an overwhelming demonic advantage.

Still, man hasn't perished, probably because the Nialotopes are adjusting without letting him live and kill him.

That's what I thought, my chest feces went bad and I bit my teeth.

It was also finally convincing that Gannett attempted to make contact with Pomera through a meeting of Adventurer Guilds while being stopped around him.

In preparation for the Demon King's raid, you really wanted Pomera, who defeated Alfred, an A-class adventurer, to be one of them.

If the Demon King is true, this magical city is in a hell of a crisis.

It's not strange that the magic city would have disappeared if you had left it.

"Gathering adventurers for a meeting means beating the Demon King first before he makes a full move?

The story was that this magical city of Manarak also has S-class adventurers.

I have no idea what size the Demon King is dealing with.

"... I hope the A-level adventurer is the one who can handle it in a bunch. Mr. Gannett apparently doesn't think on that scale"

"What..."

"That's all I can say now. You have been promised the utmost honesty. But I haven't heard that much about the way Mr. Gannett tells you. You can't talk any more from my mouth."

That's what Zildo said with a slightly lonely eye.

I'm breathtaking.

Apparently, it's pretty serious.

Eventually we arrived at the Adventurer Guild.

As it was, it was passed to the back room of the second floor of the guild, usually inaccessible, for the people involved.

Several adventurers had already sat in their seats in a conference room with a large round table.

There was also Rosmond's appearance.

He is dressed in rugged armor protective equipment and hides his face with a metal mask of a goat.

Apparently, he also reassembled his broken protective gear safely.

I had eyes, so I lowered my head small.

Rosmond trembled.

... seems to be scared for a long time.

It's not an impossible story, though.

"Sit wherever you want"

That's what Jildo told me, but I was vaguely looking at the round table.

Can I really make the right choice?

Will there be any sort of decision?

I don't know anything about this world or the magic city of Manarak.

It's easier for me to specify it.

That's when I felt like killing myself from behind.

"... hey, out of the way. What are you standing on?"

When I switched, Alfred stood staring at us.

The narrowed sharp gaze had a colour of ruthless hatred.

I thought Alfred was also called to this meeting because I heard he was mainly bringing together class A adventurers.

But I scratched all that shame, so I thought it was something we weren't involved in anymore.

He unilaterally obfuscated, went out unintentionally because he wasn't hostile, and on top of that, he lost his balls and even got treated.

If I had been in the opposite position, I would have left this city.

Pomera stares back at Alfred with a grumpy look.

"A. Dear Alfred..."

Saila calls out to Alfred.

It was Saila who originally asked Pomera to treat Alfred.

I guess you don't care about Alfred's high-pressure attitude.

Alfred was quick and grabbed Sarah's shoulder.

They're hanging on to it, and I can hear her squeaking shoulders.

"What, Sarah? You just cautioned the guy blocking in front of the door, right? I lost in a duel, so you're just gonna lay on the floor and wait while he's standing in front of you? See?"

"Well, I'm not saying that much... the..."

The gaze in the room concentrates on Alfred's sword swallowing appearance.

Alfred checked their gaze, punched their tongues and took their hands off of Saila.

"What, did you just pay attention? You enjoy watching losers make that much noise?

When Alfred glanced around and said so, they all took their eyes off at random.

Apparently, it's been rough for a long time.

"Sorry, we were in the way. Mr. Pomera, let's sit around there."

I pulled Pomera's arm.

It's just a loss to relate to Alfred.

Even if you rebel poorly, it will just stick to you for a long time.

"... I'm obsessed. You think you won with something like that. Kuk...... I don't know the purpose of the meeting, but apparently an excellent opportunity has been prepared. I'm gonna make you regret what you've done to me."

Alfred turned to us and whined so little.

I took a seat alongside Pomera, looking at Alfred on my ass.

... something I've fully understood so far, but Alfred seems like a pretty nasty guy.

If we're coming any further, we might need to change our response.

When I sat down, Rosmond in the side seat trembled.

He seems restless, poking the round table with his elbow.

"Ah... I'm sorry, you know, to be"

Rosmond was looking around the room and checking on something after he had seen me for a moment.

Then he put his hand in front of the mouth of the goat mask and asked me as he lurked his voice.

"You don't have that green-haired girl, do you?

"... yeah, that kid is resting at the inn"

... Apparently it's traumatized that Philia busted me with every raño.

Next time I see you, I'll tell you to apologize a little.

"But I've already heard about the duel, but you seem to have a lot of assholes"

It must be about Alfred.

Neither did I expect Pomera to do all that unilaterally and still stick around.

Rosmond looked at Alfred.

Me and Pomera got caught, too. I looked him in the eye.

Pomera said "hiccup" and immediately lowered her gaze.

Alfred, abominably, looked at Pomera the whole time.

... Alfred had spoken of this meeting as a great opportunity.

I hope you didn't pull my legs for the upcoming operation on the Adventurer Alliance side......
