Disciple of Immortal
Episode XVI: The Red Right Wand
I was traveling Manarak with Bennett.
"The Red scepter… is an item that we have brought to Manalak to give to the Hand of the Military God (Ares Hand) by royal decree"
According to Bennett's story, the Red Right Wand was once an item brought in by a transworldly transferee.
They say it was brought in by one of the four heroes who shot down the Nightmare Curse Festival, a coalition of the five highest demon kings three thousand years ago.
But if it was meant to be, it would not be possible to exert its power without a covenant with the Great Spirit sealed in the wand.
"A view emerged among court alchemists that if they had the skills to ignore the equipment conditions of the" Hand of the Military God (Ares Hand), "they could ripen the use of the Red Kwon Wand more than the legendary otherworld-transfer once did. As a countermeasure to the demonic disaster, a proposal was made to dedicate this item to the Hand of the Military God (Ares Hand)."
"I see..."
So the Alliance also called Cotone?
I was convinced.
If it is indeed Cotone's skill, it can produce forces far beyond his or her level depending on the equipment.
It is not uncommon for a country to disappear due to a demonic disaster in this world.
The royal family will also be struggling to strengthen their domestic forces.
"... that, but then, isn't it dangerous to get that far into the wrong hands?
Bennett said it would be important if the Red Right Wand were to cross into their hands.
But once again, from Bennett, Cotone seems to be the only one who can use the Red Right Wand.
Besides, I'm not sure how much Cotone can handle.
It certainly leads to a potential loss of fighting power that the kingdom was supposed to gain, so it doesn't seem like there's going to be a big incident soon, though.
"Whatever you say, you c-class adventurer! My birth will be lost!
"... Mr. Bennett, can I leave you after all?
I feel like I can already pull out the information I can get from Bennett.
I can travel much faster on my own, and Bennett doesn't seem to expect much as a force of war.
I don't feel like you're going to pull my leg fatally somewhere.
"Oh, that's not all! It's unusual that the Cup of Blood went into a raid so ready!
"What hooks you up with?
"The Red Right Wand is just a decoration if you can't handle it. Sure, the legendary magician's wand, even the ornament, is well worth it, but the motive is weak for the" Blood Cup ", which was scattered throughout the kingdom, to come together and aim. The Blood Cup is a bunch of bandits, but it's never just a bunch of gorots. They're not the ones who got their hands on crime because they're in trouble for money, they're the raw looters. It holds many more powerful men than A-class adventurers."
Certainly, with the power that class A adventurers deserve in this world, you won't suffer from the cost of living if you don't scatter so much.
You should be able to choose as many jobs as you want.
The Cup of Blood is one of those people who chose to become a usurper.
"Especially the leader, Bosguin of the Giant Arms, is a level of strength that can be counted from above even within this kingdom. Supposedly comparable to S-class adventurers. If I'd known you were coming, I'd have picked you up at the Knights. If we stay here until he does, Manarak will be hell."
I'm breathtaking.
I didn't think even Pomera would struggle if it was on an A-level adventurer.
But that doesn't seem to be the case if you hit it with Bosguin.
You should be on your guard, too.
S-class adventurers seem to be wide open. All this time, we must also be prepared to fight more than just the same.
"The Boss Gin of the Giant Arms goes hand in hand with the organizational power of the Blood Cup, so much so that any one of them is supposedly counted as one of the Human Demon Dragons"
"Well, you don't seem to have to worry..."
I breathed relief.
Even the notebooks with less than level 400 were counted for "The Human Demon Dragon," so I'm sure it's below the notebook.
"Are you kidding me?
Bennett wrinkles between her brows.
"Anyway... I don't see why The Boss Gun of the Giant Arms is so eager to target the Red Right Wand. Even though the head of a bandit is a hero maniac. Even if you sell it to a millionaire in a country without morality, the amount you can put on the Red Right Wand, which is only a decoration, will be limited."
If you think about sharing the rewards with the dozens of men you've brought in, it certainly doesn't seem like a very tasty job for those powerful bandits like The Blood Cup.
"Does that mean Bosguin may have found some use for it?
"It's not an impossible story. Anyway, it's an item I've been sleeping deep in the treasure trove for a long time. Harm cannot even be assumed when the Red Right Wand is abused. It could be a situation involving the whole kingdom."
There are many puzzling points, but I certainly cannot underestimate the Red Right Wand in case you think about it.
Securing should be a top priority.
Besides, Bosguin, the leader, would also be after the Red Right Wand.
If you follow the Red Warrant Wand, you're likely to bump into Bosguin.
In order to reduce the damage, Bosguin wants to keep it in place as soon as possible.
"And think of me! Assuming this leads to a catastrophic event, it would be outrageous to treat not only me, but even my family name as a major war criminal. You see?"
Bennett said so in a desperate phase.
Talk about it, is that where it ends up...
"... I know that, but don't talk about it again and again because it shrivels my mind"
"It's not funny! My house has been the Knights of the Kingdom for generations! If I make a big mistake, they'll chase the Knights to my father. It's an unexpected situation, but if it turns out to be the worst, it's decided not to take it into account. At any rate, we must only protect the Red Warrant Wand!
I was serious about shaking him off somewhere as I listened to Bennett.
