Disciple of Immortal

Episode XXI: Reaper's Upset (side: Rovis)

Rovis stops holding the sickle.

There was sweat on my forehead.

Rumors about Pomera had been heard, fragmented.

Besides the Hand of the Military Divine (Ares Hand), which was even known as the patron saint of Manarak, it worked great in the Spider's Crusade against the Demon King.

Others hunted massive demons, but summoned giant dragon spirits, and how true it was, there was noise about it and this in the city.

There was one thing in it that bothered me.

Pomera is an adventurer from the city of Aroburg.

I just overheard it, I don't know as much as it is true or false.

But if that's true, terrible facts come to mind.

Rovis recently went as far as the city of Arloburg, but ended up fleeing without going to the city.

Why is that? Because I didn't want to face Kanata Kambala, a monster I happened to meet on the road any more.

I managed to apologize peacefully for once and overtake the spot by shredding the other party's excitement.

But if you next hostile with some bounce, you'll definitely lose your life.

Pomera's unnatural level of height and the awkwardness of interpersonal combat that he figured out after fighting.

If anyone can raise the level of one adventurer to around 200, it would be odd if the person had to be at least level 300 or higher.

But there's no way people over level 300 are gobbling around.

Naturally, in Rovis, the Canata theory was thickened with Pomera's master equals.

"If you're going to kill me, why don't you just do it?"

Pomera stiffened her clench and said so with a trembling voice.

…………

Rovis didn't know the words to return and was silent.

I was thinking about different patterns in my head.

Just ask honestly and run away if Kanata leaves.

Otherwise, you can kill him.

But there was a reason I couldn't do that.

"... Master Rovis, what is it?

Yozakura said so in a slightly irritating voice.

Although I managed to push it off and persuade him last time, there was still some disappointment in Yozakla for Rovis.

Damia still understands.

But Yozakura was beginning to smell the words saving that, obviously, I'm not convinced yet.

That would never be Rovis' assumption.

I should have been stained with Yozakura and how stupid it is to dare to blade someone like Kanata in my last encounter with him.

You wouldn't say such impotence to put yourself in front of him and attack him.

But the moment I felt Kanata's shadow, it wasn't hard to imagine how I'd start seeing Netineti if I showed a rush to escape the scene.

Yozakura and Damia are two executives of "Black Reaper" who are intoxicated by the life of Rovis.

If they pull out for no reason, I'm pretty sure they'll assume something happened to the other guys too.

If one thing with Kanata passes here and there, it becomes almost impossible to convince each and every one of them.

"Black Reaper" will be pushed to dismantle just that.

"Huh..."

Rovis shook his head and removed the Great Sickle from Pomera's neck.

"Hero Pomera... No, you're just a little bit more powerful right now, like a little girl or something? There's enough for me to take, like you are now. But your magical genius... and the growth of rebuilding your tactics in extreme battle, above all the integrity of that soul, will eventually turn you into a real hero. When that happens... Kuk, then it's not bad to hunt you again"

Rovis laughed niggardly and turned his back on Pomera.

"Let's go, Damia, Yozakura. It was a good harvest. I'm not going to go to the Blood Cup festival any more."

Rovis slowly leaves his back to Pomera and heads to the entrance to the Adventurer Guild.

"I'm not interested in Red Right Wand. If you don't have a user like that, it's just a decoration toy. Bosguin seemed to be laying low on us, but if his tearful efforts bore fruit, we could hunt him then, that's all. The Hand of the Army God is inferior to Pomera."

"What are you...?

Pomera had a puzzling look on her face.

Rovis bites his lips. Perhaps he wasn't deluded.

If they say anything extra, Yozakura can make another scene.

"Pomera, you have the same eyes as me. The outside is the difference, the essence is the same. You make it easy to risk your own life, and somewhere overlooking the exchange of lives. You just happen to have a pre construction called justice in your hand, and in the end, you're fascinated by the battle."

"No, um..."

"Kuk, I look forward to seeing you next time. But that's when you'll be at your end. At best, it's about not failing to train."

Rovis put that on Pomera's words and ran out of words quickly.

Pomera was frowning, but she shut up.

Originally, Pomera had no reason to talk to Rovis until she held him back.

Rovis was satisfied with the condition, while vowing to his heart to never see this woman again.

If you're really involved with Kanata, the next time you see her, it could be your end.

Honestly, I didn't really feel anything like myself on the Pomera opponent either.

It is a deception entirely to mislead Yozakura.

"Master Rovis."

Yozakura speaks to Rovis, who came near the entrance.

"What's up?

"What are you so afraid of?

Yozakura looked deeply on her forehead, clearly grumpy.

"What are you saying? You've been too suspicious lately. I also have something called Fumiko. If you're too persistent, I wouldn't hesitate to turn it off with you."

"No, that's fine. From now on, it just seems as if you want to leave this city as soon as possible."

Yozakura threw her gaze at Damia to ask for her consent.

Damia slipped her gaze softly.

Rovis bit his lip at the look of it.

"Let me be clear, Master Rovis still just seems scared of something from that one thing"

"That's your way of thinking. Ha... well, fine. If you have something to say, I'll ask you later."

"It still only seems to me that I want to leave this city in a hurry."

"Hey, you're really persistent, Yozakura"

At that time, an ominous aura stood around me.

That was felt not only by Rovis, but also by Yozakura, Damia and Pomera.

Obviously of Kanata's signs or not, but it doesn't change that it's a different thing anyway.

"Just get out of here..."

"Ultra-Gravity Bomb"

With that voice, the second floor of the Adventurer's Guild blew up.

Wood pieces and so forth pour down.

Rovis was just blurry with the powder of wood chips hanging on his face.

It opens flat and you can see the blue sky on the ceiling.

There was a girl floating around in a thick black coat.

From his coat, he has beautiful white hair. The whiteness of the peeping skin was also as clear as it seemed, with an outward beauty.

The haunting aura is demonic and disastrous.

Everything she had was obviously not human.

Bi and Crimson Odd Eye stared at Pomera, then exhaled in self-derision.

"... even though it's a moment, I'm a fallen one, too, to think of what it would be like to just let it die."

Pomera didn't know what her words meant.

However, they came to help me, which I understood.

Most of all, the crisis had already slipped away.

"It's what you've always been like, some boring villain like you"

Rich girl, Renaele's gaze pierces Rovis.
