"Come on, I’ll take you back to rest," Luo Feng said softly, looking at Lin Yun. However, just as the words left his mouth, another rift tore open in the sky above Flawless Palace.

"This is..." Seeing the rift, everyone knew what it meant: a Celestial Punishment was descending.

’The only one in Flawless Palace who could trigger a Celestial Punishment right now...’ Luo Feng’s thoughts immediately turned to Little Ape. ’Who else could it be but that War Ape?’

Luo Feng’s expression was a peculiar mix of anger and helplessness as he stared at Lin Yun.

"Master, this... I..." Lin Yun stammered, seeing the look on Luo Feng’s face. He knew this Celestial Punishment had to be Little Ape’s doing. After all, the ape had already reached the limit for a Tier Three Demon Beast half a month ago.

"Are you two brothers trying to pull one over on me? Or do you just want to tear Flawless Palace down?" Luo Feng snapped. Without another word to Lin Yun, he shot off toward the palace grounds, taking Lin Yun with him. The Six Supreme Elders followed close behind.

They rushed directly toward Lin Yun’s courtyard. From a distance, Lin Yun could see Little Ape, now a ten-meter-tall behemoth, repeatedly beating its chest and roaring at the rift in the sky.

Little Ape’s roars soon echoed throughout Flawless Palace, drawing many Direct Disciples and Core Disciples to the area outside Lin Yun’s courtyard. He Yuntian and Bai Zhicheng watched the ape, now wreathed in a fearsome Evil Qi, and sighed in resignation.

"Little Ape is breaking through to a Tier Four Demon Beast."

"Really, those two. Eldest Brother just had his breakthrough, and now Little Ape decides to have one too."

It wasn’t just He Yuntian and Bai Zhicheng. Lu Bingning and Lan Xi had also arrived outside Lin Yun’s courtyard. No one dared get any closer, though. A Celestial Punishment for a Tier Four Demon Beast breakthrough? Who would be reckless enough to get caught in that?

Luo Feng rushed back at top speed with Lin Yun in tow. By the time he reached Little Ape, the Celestial Punishment in the sky had nearly finished forming.

Without hesitation, Luo Feng tossed Lin Yun to Lu Bingning and Lan Xi. "You little brat," he yelled over his shoulder, "I’ll deal with you later!" Then, he and the Six Supreme Elders repeated their earlier maneuver, instantly isolating Lin Yun’s entire courtyard with a protective barrier.

This was Flawless Palace, after all. Even though Little Ape’s Celestial Punishment wasn’t as freakish as Lin Yun’s, Luo Feng and the others couldn’t afford to be careless. If they let it rampage freely, a quarter of Flawless Palace would probably be flattened.

"Supreme Elders, give it your all!" Luo Feng commanded the Six Supreme Elders.

With the courtyard securely contained, Little Ape’s Celestial Punishment descended as expected. The ape let out a furious roar, pushed off hard with its legs, and shot straight up into the sky to confront it.

Supported by Lu Bingning and Lan Xi, Lin Yun watched Little Ape fight the Celestial Punishment, a helpless smile on his face. When he caught sight of Luo Feng’s thunderous expression, he sighed. "I think Master might actually kill me this time."

’Lin Yun’s Celestial Punishment had struck without any warning, nearly destroying the Flawless Array. Thankfully, Luo Feng and the others had been prepared and managed to get him out of Flawless Palace in time.’

’Yet, before they could even get him back, Little Ape’s Celestial Punishment had descended. The fury in Luo Feng’s heart was imaginable. If they hadn’t returned in time, wouldn’t all the buildings in this part of Flawless Palace have been completely destroyed?’

"Lin Yun, are you alright?" Lu Bingning asked worriedly. Lin Yun was still covered in blood, and both her and Lan Xi’s attention was focused completely on him.

Hearing Lu Bingning’s voice, Lin Yun finally shifted his gaze to her and Lan Xi. His mind had been completely preoccupied with Little Ape’s Celestial Punishment, but now that he looked at the two women, he was stunned.

Their Cultivation had reached the Eighth Layer of the Primordial Ocean Realm. They had broken through six entire layers in a single period of seclusion. It was a testament to how heaven-defying the Saint’s inheritance truly was.

But that wasn’t what surprised Lin Yun the most. After their seclusion, both women seemed to have undergone a metamorphosis, becoming even more beautiful than before.

One only had to look at the surrounding disciples to see it. Though no one in Flawless Palace would dare make a move on them, many disciples couldn’t help but stare, their eyes filled with unconcealed admiration for their beauty.

Seeing so many pairs of adoring eyes fixed on his women naturally irked Lin Yun. Without a word, he swept his gaze over the crowd.

When they saw that Lin Yun had noticed their admiring gazes, the Direct Disciples, and even the Core Disciples, all turned away one by one.

Everyone knew Lin Yun’s current standing in Flawless Palace. As beautiful as Lu Bingning and Lan Xi were, they were not people these disciples could afford to fantasize about.

The two women noticed his little display. Lan Xi covered her mouth and chuckled. "Jealous?"

At her words, Lin Yun gave Lan Xi’s cheek a playful, exasperated pinch. "Being this beautiful is nothing but trouble."

Hearing this, Lu Bingning and Lan Xi smiled faintly. Even though Lin Yun had said it with a stern face, what woman wouldn’t like to hear such words? Coming from him, it made them both feel delighted.

While Lin Yun was talking with the two women, Little Ape finally weathered its Celestial Punishment and successfully advanced to a Tier Four Demon Beast.

Its body was covered in wounds from which blood with a faint Golden Light trickled, but the injuries only made Little Ape look even more savage.

The Celestial Punishment had passed, but Lin Yun’s courtyard had been completely annihilated, reduced to a pile of rubble.

As the Celestial Punishment faded, Little Ape shrank back to the size of a fist. Luo Feng and the others withdrew their Elemental Power. Cupping the tiny ape in his hand, Luo Feng slowly descended to land in front of Lin Yun.

He tossed Little Ape into Lin Yun’s hands. With a grim expression, Luo Feng barked, "Your residence is gone. Find somewhere else to live. Once you’re healed, I’ll deal with you properly."

Without waiting for Lin Yun to reply, Luo Feng turned and left.

His courtyard was now a pile of ruins, and by the looks of it, Luo Feng had no intention of helping him rebuild. Lin Yun gave a wry, helpless smile. ’Looks like I’ll have to stay with Lu Bingning and Lan Xi.’
