Meanwhile, at Chunfeng Tower, Guang Xuanji naturally felt the Restriction on her Space Ring being broken. Her expression turned grim as she said in a cold voice, "You’ve got guts, Lin Yun."

’After thinking it over, the only person she could come up with was Lin Yun. Who else would do something like this? The only thing she couldn’t figure out was how he had managed it.’

The corner of Lin Yun’s mouth twitched. "Show her in," he said quietly.

The Maid bowed respectfully and left the courtyard. A short while later, Guang Xuanji appeared before Lin Yun.

Upon seeing Lin Yun, Guang Xuanji showed no anger at all for him having stolen her belongings. Instead, with a smile, she said, "Young Master Lin, I never realized you had such a peculiar hobby."

Guang Xuanji was obviously alluding to the theft of her clothes. Hearing this, Lin Yun gave a helpless smile. ’I’m in a bind and can’t explain the truth,’ he thought. ’I can’t possibly say that Little Ape was the thief, can I?’

"Miss Xiaoqing, did you come looking for me today just to speak of such baseless things?" At this point, Lin Yun could only feign ignorance. Stealing a woman’s clothing was not exactly a glorious deed.

At her words, Lin Yun invited Guang Xuanji to the pavilion in the courtyard. After they sat down, Guang Xuanji didn’t take the seat opposite Lin Yun, but instead sat right beside him.

The distinct, sweet scent of a woman wafted into Lin Yun’s nose. Taking the initiative, Guang Xuanji poured him a cup of tea. "Young Master Lin," she said with a smile, "I came here today to retrieve my stolen Space Ring. I was wondering if you might be willing to return it."

’Guang Xuanji’s objective was simple. She knew she had no hope of getting the Elemental Power Stone back, but she absolutely had to retrieve her sister’s heirloom—the Guqin.’

’It was the only thing her sister had left her. No matter what it took, she had to get that Guqin back.’

"Miss Xiaoqing, what Space Ring? Why would I have your Space Ring?" Lin Yun replied, feigning ignorance.

As Lin Yun continued to feign ignorance, Guang Xuanji leaned in until her body was practically pressed against his. She whispered, her breath sweet, "Young Master Lin, I can forget about the Elemental Power Stone. But there is something in that Space Ring that is incredibly important to me. I hope you can return it."

"And... if Young Master Lin is willing to return the Space Ring, I will let you do anything you want to me." As she finished, Guang Xuanji brought her lips to Lin Yun’s ear and whispered, her breath warm and fragrant.

It had to be said, Guang Xuanji was certainly skilled at seducing men. However, her tactics were useless against Lin Yun, for the beauties he was surrounded by were simply far too stunning.

’Lin Yun knew things had reached a point where she wouldn’t back down unless he returned the Space Ring. He also guessed that the item she treasured most was likely that Guqin.’

With a roguish smile, Lin Yun suddenly wrapped an arm around Guang Xuanji and pulled her into his lap.

She hadn’t expected Lin Yun to be so brazen. Sitting on his lap, Guang Xuanji felt a flash of anger.

Seeing her expression turn cold, Lin Yun gave that same roguish smile. "What’s the matter? Didn’t you just say that if I returned the Space Ring, Miss Xiaoqing would let me do anything? We’ve barely begun, and you’re already going back on your word?"

It wasn’t that Guang Xuanji was a prude. Having grown up in a place like Wood City, she had lost her innocence long ago. She just never expected Lin Yun to be so direct.

’Based on her understanding of him, Lin Yun shouldn’t have been someone easily swayed by a woman’s beauty. Who could have imagined that a single sentence from her would cause him to unleash his inner beast?’
