Chapter 2721 - 194: Trying Out the New Bed
Molly Wellington had known all along that Abraham Redington didn’t have any good intentions.
By the time they arrived, Abraham’s luggage had already been delivered.
They hadn’t even had time to eat dinner yet; they’d just brought Abraham into the guest room so he could put his things down, when Molly Wellington was already being scooped up by him and thrown onto the newly made King-size Bed.
Abraham pressed her beneath him, his voice hoarse. "This bed... good spring."
As he spoke, he braced an elbow beside her shoulder and pressed down a little.
Looking into Molly Wellington’s eyes, that deep blue only grew darker and more searing.
Back when she’d relented and agreed to let Abraham move into the condominium, Molly Wellington had already guessed their relationship wouldn’t stop at just kissing and holding hands.
There was something mixed into the way Abraham looked at her; she could feel it clearly.
Only—
"You said you were just moving in, that you wouldn’t do anything to me." Molly Wellington lifted both hands to push against the man’s rock‑hard chest, her moist almond-shaped eyes fixed on him. The faint flush at the corners of her eyes only made a person want to devour her more.
Abraham’s lips curled. "...Molly Lewis, I’m changing my mind now."
"You..." She knew it—Abraham’s words could never be trusted.
Molly Wellington still wanted to say something, but Abraham had already lowered his head and captured her lips.
His kiss was forceful and burning; ever since Molly Lewis had nodded and reconciled with him, he’d wanted to do this.
For two days Abraham had been waiting, telling himself over and over not to rush.
But the woman he’d been longing for all this time was now lying beneath him; any normal man would find it hard to refuse such sweet temptation.
The room, warmed by the heater, was toasty; the clothes on Molly Wellington and Abraham were shed piece by piece, and soon... in the warm bedroom, suggestive gasps began to sound.
...
By the time that lingering, entangled night finally ended, an utterly exhausted Molly Wellington had her back to Abraham, nestled in his arms, and sank into a heavy sleep on the King-size Bed.
Abraham’s arm was pillowed under Molly Wellington’s head, while his other large hand reached from behind to rest over her lower abdomen, locking her firmly in his embrace.
Abraham held Molly Wellington very tightly, unwilling to loosen his grip even in his sleep.
No one knew how much time had passed. Only when Abraham’s breathing gradually evened out, clearly already deep in sleep—
Enfolded in his arms, Molly Wellington, who’d obviously been asleep, slowly opened her eyes.
In the silent night, silver moonlight spilled in beyond the floor‑to‑ceiling windows of the top‑floor condominium.
Molly Wellington slowly turned over and lifted her gaze to look at the man holding her so tightly.
In the moonlight, Abraham’s eyes were closed, his lashes thick, his features deep and striking.
He was still the same cold and magnetic figure in Molly Wellington’s memory; even with his eyes closed, without those deep, distant blue eyes fixed on her, he could still make one’s heart race.
However... the Molly Wellington who’d once been naive and obsessed with him had long since died.
Nestled in Abraham’s arms, Molly Wellington looked up at him; she didn’t know how long she stared before her eyes grew red‑rimmed, that soft gaze slowly turning hazy.
*
The next day, after getting up, Molly Wellington fussed around in the room alone for a long time before finally coming out.
When she appeared in front of Abraham in her outfit, the man, who had just set breakfast on the table, frowned slightly under his dark brows.
"Wearing so much—are you very cold?" Abraham stood up, instinctively walking over to Molly Wellington.
He reached out to touch Molly Wellington’s forehead, testing her temperature with the back of his hand. Only when he found nothing unusual did his expression ease a little.
At the moment, Molly Wellington was wearing a light-colored turtleneck sweater underneath, matched with a white skirt on the outside, a dark-colored scarf tied around her neck, and over that, a black coat.
Although it was already December, there was heating and air‑conditioning everywhere indoors; there really was no need to wear so much.
