Chapter 2740 - 213: Perfect Holiday (Part 2)
The next morning, Molly Wellington’s perfect biological clock woke her right on time.
The three days of vacation were already over, and today was the day to go back to the company.
When Molly Wellington opened her eyes, her bare back was still resting in the man’s strong, powerful embrace.
Abraham Redington seemed to really like holding her to sleep from behind like this; his arms always wrapped around her tightly, his thin lips would kiss her hairline and the shell of her ear, and sometimes he would talk to her. Just hearing his low, magnetic voice brushing past her ear was enough to set her whole heart trembling.
In this moment, even though Molly Wellington was awake, she didn’t take the initiative to break this rare, quiet warmth.
Scenes like this, with one day that passes, there’s one day less. She wanted to remember all of it, to brand it deep in the river of time.
So that in the future, if there was a chance, she could dig it out from the depths of her memory now and then, to reminisce, to cherish.
"You’re awake?" Just as Molly Wellington was spacing out a little, Abraham Redington’s magnetic voice came from behind her.
In the mornings when he just woke up, Abraham Redington’s voice always carried a husky sort of sexiness. When it brushed against her ear, it sank straight into the deepest part of her heart, easily tugging at her heartstrings.
"Yeah, after a three-day vacation I almost got used to that slow pace... I could barely open my eyes just now." Molly Wellington tried to sound as normal as possible. She glanced back, lifted her chin to look at the man behind her, and even gave him a smile.
First thing in the morning, being greeted by Molly Wellington’s warm smile, Abraham Redington’s icy blue eyes lit up slightly, the corners of his sensual lips tipping up into a lazy, languid curve.
He reached out and lightly scraped the tip of Molly Wellington’s nose. "If you don’t want to get up, then sleep a bit longer... Molly Lewis, you were tired last night."
A faint blush flashed quickly across Molly Wellington’s cheeks.
The tone and sound of Abraham Redington speaking against her ear were just too teasing, too seductive.
Her heart sped up for a moment; she felt a little out of control and hurriedly changed the subject. "No need, the more you laze around in bed, the lazier you get. Let’s just get up and go to the office."
Abraham Redington chuckled under his breath, then casually flipped Molly Wellington over, pinched her small chin, and pecked her lips several times in a row. "What are you afraid of? Even if you turn into a little slacker, I’ll take care of you. Sleep a bit more, I’ll go make breakfast and call you when it’s ready."
Once he finished speaking, the man firmly pressed Molly Wellington back down onto the pillow, letting her petite body sink deep into the warmth of the King-size Bed.
Abraham Redington climbed out of bed with his upper body bare, then casually hooked up the bathrobe he’d tossed by the bed last night and slipped it on.
After that, he came back again, used his broad palm to ruffle Molly Wellington’s hair, and dropped a kiss on her forehead as he reminded her, "Doze a bit more. I’ll call you when it’s ready, be good."
Molly Wellington nestled under the blanket and blinked. "..."
Seeing that face so close, the deep, handsome features steeped in tenderness and indulgence, Molly Wellington let out a soft "mm."
If only it could stay like this forever, how wonderful that would be.
In that instant, the bridge of Molly Wellington’s nose tingled slightly, and she even felt a brief moment of wavering.
She didn’t dare think too deeply about it. She closed her eyes and pretended to sleep peacefully.
...
A little later, Abraham Redington personally went into the kitchen and made a purely Western-style breakfast.
Milk, coffee, fried eggs, ham, toast, and an array of fresh fruit.
At the dining table, Abraham Redington had already changed into a perfectly tailored, expensive suit.
Molly Wellington had also changed into her professional outfit and was sitting across from him, head lowered as she ate her breakfast.
When they were almost finished, Molly Wellington suddenly spoke. "Today at the office, I’m going to hand in my resignation. My Internship period is over, and next I have to go back to campus to prepare my graduation project and thesis. I won’t have time to juggle my job at Royal Palace anymore."
"Resign? Graduate?"
Abraham Redington’s cold blue eyes narrowed slightly. He set down his coffee cup, his expression gradually turning serious. "Molly Lewis, you’re only a junior this year, and you’re already graduating?"
