Abraham Redington finished speaking, then led Molly Wellington by the hand into the elevator without a care.
In the basement level elevator area, one elevator was reserved exclusively for the CEO, while the others were divided between serving floors below the 20th and floors above it, for use by the building’s regular employees.
As Abraham Redington pulled Molly Wellington into the elevator area, one of the elevators that reached the higher floors was just rising from the second basement level to the first and was about to stop.

Molly Wellington was slightly surprised, "This is the elevator for regular employees. The exclusive elevator for the CEO is over there."
