"That’s impossible... Redington Young Master’s constitution is good. As long as he follows the doctor’s orders for recuperation, the fever symptoms should not recur like this."

Dr. Cooper came to see Abraham Redington, and after taking his temperature, was full of puzzlement and confusion.

The medicine he prescribed for Redington Young Master had no issues. During his previous visits to observe the illness, he noticed that Redington Young Master’s cold and fever situation had improved significantly.

So why, after just one or two days, did it recur?

"Miss Wellington, have you been taking good care of Redington Young Master? Didn’t let him catch a chill, or have alcohol or smoke..."

"Of course not." Before Dr. Cooper could finish asking, Molly Wellington replied, "I’ve been watching over him as per your instructions."

Dr. Cooper: "..."

This was very strange.

With the combination of physical cooling and medicinal control, and since Abraham usually didn’t abuse medication, there was no resistance to drugs.

Logically, he should recover very easily when sick.

"Fortunately, it’s only an occasional low fever. Let’s continue to observe. Miss Wellington, this time you must not leave his side and verify every detail so that I can understand where the problem lies."

Actually, Dr. Cooper already had some suspicions, but he wasn’t a fool. He could see that Redington Young Master treated Miss Wellington differently.

To avoid causing trouble, some doubts he kept to himself and dared not speak out.

Dr. Cooper also didn’t know if it was deliberate or not, but he repeatedly emphasized for Molly Wellington to keep a close watch on Abraham Redington.

If the fever returns, antipyretics can be taken, but there’s a time limit on antipyretics, so if the fever recurs before the next dose is due,

then a bath is necessary.

"The bath must use warm water, neither too hot nor too cold. Miss Wellington, you must control the water temperature."

In the end, Dr. Cooper didn’t find any conclusive answers, and he could only return to the second floor with his nurse aide.

Just as they descended the stairs, the nurse couldn’t help but ask, "Dr. Cooper, the last time we checked on Redington Young Master, his condition had improved a lot. Why has he suddenly developed a low fever again? Such cases are very rare in healthy adults... Shouldn’t I draw blood again and take it back for testing?"

The nurse was innocent, not understanding the intricacies and assuming the doctor had forgotten to draw blood during the previous diagnosis.

It wasn’t appropriate to undermine him in front of others.

So she waited until they were outside to ask.

"No need for a blood test. Redington Young Master’s condition is due to a heart ailment. Once his heart’s desire is fulfilled, the illness will naturally be resolved. You don’t need to worry about this. Come on... I’ll take you out for some food."

If there was any doubt before, after a brief consideration once outside the patient room, Dr. Cooper already saw through all the tricks behind it.

Redington Young Master’s feelings for Secretary Wellington are not just different. He is entirely using his health as an opportunity to interact with her.

It seems that, for a considerable period, Redington Young Master won’t be coming downstairs, nor will his condition likely improve.

Dr. Cooper’s guess was actually correct.

Who would have thought, that by tonight, as Dr. Cooper was in the guest room on the second floor preparing to turn off the lights to sleep, someone suddenly pounded on his door from outside with a ’bang, bang’.

"Dr. Cooper, Dr. Cooper... quickly get up, come upstairs with me, something has happened upstairs!"

Ray Mckinley hurriedly rushed down and brought Dr. Cooper to the third floor.

When he arrived on the third floor, he saw Abraham Redington sitting on the bed after a bath, wrapped in a large, soft white Bathrobe.

The open robe collar revealed a hint of his well-defined chest.

Molly Wellington was covering him with a blanket while holding a hair dryer and a towel in her hands.

The towel was casually placed atop Abraham Redington’s head while she used the other hand to hold the hair dryer, appearing to be about to dry his hair.
