Chapter 2890 - 80: Extremely Jealous (Part 2)
Usually characterized by a somewhat aloof demeanor, Major General Lucas once attended Commander Nelson’s classes at the Military Academy on Strategic Command. They often referred to each other as teacher and student, which made Commander Nelson, who has a rather fiery temperament, quite fond of him.
Hearing that it was at the command of the Commander, and with military orders directing him, Jordan Lancaster coolly squeezed out a sentence from his mouth: "Harrison Lucas, then go with them."
"Yes, sir." Harrison Lucas twitched at the forehead, reluctantly replied.
Even though Jordan Lancaster’s face was cold without any change in expression, she still sensed the chill emanating from the man.
The young master is angry.
Harrison Lucas wanted to say something to pacify the young master before leaving but at that moment heard the man’s deep voice resound again: "I’ll go with you to take a look."

Harrison Lucas: "..."
What, even the young master wants to go with them to the matchmaking site?!
"That’s great, Major General Lucas is willing to be present; that adds prestige to our military zone."
"Indeed, just now, Chief Helmsley was scolding a few of us for embarrassing our G City Military Zone; Major General Lucas’s presence is sure to save our face."
The two young officers had no doubt about him, and they were more than happy that Jordan Lancaster was willing to go.
The two officers hurriedly led the way, while Jordan Lancaster’s expression remained indifferent as he followed them away, without even glancing back at Harrison Lucas.
By the time all three were almost at the gate to the courtyard, Harrison Lucas regained composure from her shock.
The young master...
Watching the man’s cold, distant back, Harrison Lucas felt a sudden sting in her heart.
This inexplicable gloom weighed heavily on her chest, making her feel uncomfortable, though she couldn’t identify the feeling; it was an emotion she had never experienced before.
Harrison Lucas knew the young master was angry, blaming her for going to a matchmaking event with someone else despite having him, feeling her actions were ’start and abandon’.
But all this was a misunderstanding; once explained, it would be resolved, in the past Jordan Lancaster had been angry before, and Harrison Lucas had long learned to face it calmly.
But this time, for some reason, Harrison Lucas felt lost in response to Jordan Lancaster’s cold, indifferent decisiveness caused by his frustration.
It felt as though something was pressing against her heart, making her feel blocked and uncomfortable.
...
Harrison Lucas hastily followed, trying to find an opportunity to speak with Jordan Lancaster.
But the man kept a stern face all the way, with a chilling air pressure and a look that said ’strangers keep away’, giving Harrison Lucas no chance at all.
By the time Harrison Lucas finally followed Jordan Lancaster into the Assembly Hall, before she could find a corner to privately explain, she was noticed by Commander Nelson, who was inspecting the situation with his adjutant.
Today, Commander Nelson wore a sharply tailored dark green military uniform, adorned with medals of honor on his chest, deliberately tidying his somewhat grizzled hair, appearing exceptionally spirited.
Commander Nelson walked over, and everyone saluted.
"Today is our G City Military Zone’s matchmaking event, let’s keep it casual." Commander said while waving his hand, looking at the cold-faced Jordan Lancaster, his smile suddenly dropped as he expressed disapproval: "This is a social event, what are you doing here."
So handsome yet not single, letting those young girls who came to participate in the matchmaking event see him, in comparison, would this matchmaking session still continue?
Commander Nelson regretted in secret that if it weren’t for Jordan Lancaster having a marriage engagement, he would have sent someone to bring him over to enliven the event.
"I’m here to inspect." Jordan Lancaster’s voice was extremely cold, mixed with some bitterness.
Commander Nelson frowned: This lad, how come he’s acting like he’s swallowed explosives.
He couldn’t be bothered to deal with Jordan Lancaster, anyway, since in the past at the Military Academy he both loved and hated this lad, saying fewer words would mean less frustration for himself.
Commander swiveled around Jordan Lancaster, and upon seeing Harrison Lucas standing behind him, the disapproval on his face instantly transformed into a smile: "Harrison Lucas, you’ve come just in time...quickly, go over there and invite that girl to dance."
