Chapter 469 - 365: Yiya Yiya (2)
"It’s not a good look for a man to hit a woman, but I’m a girl. It should be fine for me to hit a woman."
Kong Jian glanced worriedly at Da Guo’s hand, wondering if it hurt.
Three slaps, and Little White hadn’t held back.
The woman’s face had already begun to swell. She could never have imagined someone would dare to hit her.
Let alone a lowly little bastard like this.
As if a bomb had gone off, she instantly erupted, screaming a torrent of curses at Little White and Kong Jian.
She cursed Wen Ying, and she cursed the men she had brought with her.
"Call the police! Call the police! I’m calling the police to have all these little bastards arrested!"
The woman had never suffered such humiliation; at this moment, she was like a woman possessed.
"Ma’am, you mustn’t!"
One of the men, scrambling up from the ground, quickly reminded her, "We can’t get the authorities involved."
"The Master said we can’t jeopardize things for the Young Master."
The hysterical woman was about to keep going, but the mention of the Young Master seemed to sober her up slightly.
Little White didn’t know or care about any ’Master’ or ’Young Master.’ All that mattered was that she’d had a great time today.
Kong Jian sensed there was more to the story, but he remained silent.
"Useless! A bunch of useless trash! Dare to mess with me again, and I’ll send you to meet King Yan!"
Little White huffed, grabbing Kong Jian’s hand, ready to head home for dinner.
After the two left, clarity returned to the woman’s eyes. She was furious—furious enough to want to skin those two little bastards alive—but she now understood. They had skills, and her men were no match for them.
A direct confrontation would only lead to her own humiliation.
"Ma’am, should we take you to the hospital first?" a man beside her asked, trembling.
"Useless fools! If you weren’t all so worthless, would my son’s problem still be a problem? The hospital? How could I possibly show my face there!"
"Contact the Master right now! Tell him to send some specialists. As soon as possible—this is urgent!"
The man’s eyes dimmed, but he endured his pain and started to deal with the aftermath.
The woman sat in her car, the atmosphere heavy and oppressive.

Little White led Kong Jian by the hand up the stairs. "Don’t tell Sister about what just happened," she said. "She’ll worry."
Kong Jian nodded.
’I guess Da Guo is afraid of making Shihuhu angry.’
’After all, before we came here, Liger warned us not to cause trouble or show our powers to normal people.’
’But those people today were clearly here to cause trouble for Liger.’
’Damn them.’
’Well, if Da Guo says not to tell, I won’t.’
Back home, Aunt Zhang had already prepared a massive spread. There were meat dishes, vegetable dishes, and soup—it was a magnificent feast.
Uncle Zhang was back to his usual self, and the whole big family sat down at the dinner table.
Aunt Zhang took out two red envelopes, pressing one into Little White’s hand and the other into Kong Jian’s.
"Auntie, what’s this?"
Little White didn’t really get it. ’The red envelope seems so thin,’ she thought. ’What could be inside?’
As she wondered this, Little White tore open the red envelope. To her surprise, there was a bank card inside.
"You and Little Kongjian came to visit, and I haven’t had the time to properly host you. The card’s PIN is six zeroes. Use it to buy some snacks you like."
Little White blinked. ’So this is what humans call social etiquette? You’re supposed to give a red envelope when a child visits for the first time?’
"So how much money is on it?" All Little White cared about was how much tasty food she could buy.
Aunt Zhang and Uncle Zhang laughed at her question. Children are so innocent and simple, without any guile; they just say whatever they’re thinking.
"Oh, not much. Just fifty thousand."
"Wow, that’s so much! Sister, can I accept it?" Little White looked to Wen Ying.
Wen Ying nodded. "Auntie gave it to you, so go ahead and take it."
Once Little White accepted the gift, Kong Jian took his own red envelope as well.
’So much money! I can buy Liger lots of delicious treats.’
Everyone was in high spirits throughout the meal.
"Little Ying, do you plan to go back to town once this is all over?"
Wen Ying nodded. "I was thinking of taking Little White and Kong Jian back to the town to live for a while."
"Your uncle and I have been looking into that business with the mist these past few days." Aunt Zhang thought for a moment before sharing their plans with Wen Ying. "Your uncle and I want to go in and take a look, too. Don’t you worry about us. The Old Master said that the average dirty things can’t hurt your uncle and me anymore. The world is changing, and your uncle and I want to see what’s really going on."
Wen Ying neither refused nor objected.
She simply looked at Uncle Zhang and Aunt Zhang, sensing the faint presence of a Seal within their bodies.
"Alright. Uncle, Auntie, if you need anything at all, just let me know."
Knowing Wen Ying was leaving, the couple didn’t stand on ceremony.
The couple also planned to do some sightseeing in the city; it wasn’t often they got to make the trip.
Wen Ying wasn’t carrying much luggage, just a simple little bag. She slung the bag over her shoulder and left with Little White and Kong Jian.
Aunt Zhang walked them all the way downstairs, planning to see them out of the residential complex.
But to her surprise, they ran into trouble the moment they stepped out of the complex.
"You can’t leave!"
They had just exited the complex when Wen Ying was blocked by a man who looked healthy apart from his limp.
Immediately after, a woman wearing sunglasses and a mask got out of a luxury car...
"Little Ying... I’m your mother."
The woman had to make Wen Ying stay, so of course she’d remembered the ’mother’ ploy.
At first, Wen Ying was curious, but those words immediately made her recall the phone number she had hung up on and blocked.
"You’re my mom? My mom is dead. Did you crawl up from the underworld?"
Wen Ying looked at the woman with curiosity. "Why are you hiding your face? Can’t let people see you?"
The woman was about to continue her ’long-lost daughter’ routine but was cut off by Wen Ying’s sarcastic remark.
"You!"
"Little Ying, you must have some misunderstanding about me. I lost you by accident, and then you were taken in by the Wen Family’s grandmother. Now that I’ve finally found you, can’t you find it in your heart to forgive your mother? Whatever you want, Mama can give it to you! Your father and I just want to make up for everything we owe you. Can’t you please just come home with us?"
Aunt Zhang stepped directly in front of Wen Ying, blocking the woman’s line of sight.
"Skulking around with your face hidden! You say you’re Little Ying’s mother? You look more like a human trafficker to me!"
