"Is that so?" Nana smiled bitterly, though she wasn’t surprised. Ten thousand years had passed—even if she wanted to trace any remnants, it would be nearly impossible. Perhaps that mental imprint had long since merged with her, becoming a part of herself.

Gu Yue and Nana stood side by side, strolling leisurely through the vast and boundless Star Dou Great Forest. Like old friends reunited after many years, there was no need for excessive words to clarify their thoughts.

Seeing Nana’s hesitant expression, Gu Yue spoke: "I know everything—I am well-versed in the past and present of this universe. I can answer your questions."

Nana shuddered and asked slowly, "Does this mental imprint affect me?"

"You could say it does, and you could say it doesn’t. The imprint was undoubtedly meant to prevent you from devouring the Golden Dragon and becoming the Dragon God. However, its influence on your subjective consciousness is minimal. If your will is firm, it is utterly powerless; if you waver, it might be enough to alter your future."

Nana laughed mockingly. "But who would willingly have a mental imprint planted in them? If he himself were to come here and repeat his old tricks, wouldn’t I end up as a servant, obeying his every command?"

She felt as though her entire existence was a joke. The Dragon God had never favored her. Her lifelong contributions to the beast race were negligible. Even the tragic yet beautiful love story widely told across the Douluo Continent now seemed to have been part of the God King’s calculations from the very beginning.

She asked, "Do you know my future?"

Gu Yue did not refuse. "Are you sure you want to see it?"

"Yes."

Gu Yue waved her hand, and the void split open, revealing a series of images: Gu Yuena falling into a star, battling the Crimson Mother, the return of the twelve God Kings from the Divine Realm, her stripping away her bloodline to help her son ascend as the Dragon God, and her own transformation into the Goddess of Life, becoming the human Gu Yuena.

"This is you in this universe before the future was altered," Gu Yue clarified. "Now... the future has changed."

Nana watched the images of herself without a trace of surprise, only a bitter smile. Especially when she saw herself kneeling and calling Xiao Wu "Mother," her heart churned with mixed emotions.

The end of emotion is not outburst—it is silence.

She no longer wanted to question or demand explanations. The attitude before her was proof enough.

This was her own path.

Tang Wulin, Lan Xuanyu, Dong Qianqiu, Tang San, Xiao Wu, Huo Yuhao—whom she had met briefly ten thousand years ago—Tang Wutong, and even herself. The Tang family in the images was so harmonious, with six God Kings under one roof, the envy of all deities.

It should have been a happy ending. But the emergence of this Douluo Federation had shattered it all. The Dragon God, Di Tian, had ascended to the Dragon God’s throne first, meaning Lan Xuanyu could no longer become a god. He would either die from the conflict between his golden and silver dragon bloodlines, or the two federations would go to war, and the Dragon God would be slain!

Crack!

The void shattered, and the future collapsed with it. Everything turned to nothingness.

"Perhaps it’s better this way," Nana murmured. "The other Douluo Federation will lose, won’t they? From what I can sense, Bai Na alone could sweep through the entire Douluo Planet. Her power is immeasurable, and behind her stands your presence... The other federation has no chance of victory whatsoever."

Gu Yue did not deny it, gazing into the distance. "Yes. The ones to end this may be us—or perhaps Di Tian."

"Is the world beyond the Douluo universe fascinating?" Nana no longer pressed for answers, instead shifting to casual conversation.

"Yes. Countless races vie for supremacy, heroes rise, and emperors wage war beyond the heavens, treating all existence as nothing. Even if the cosmos is destroyed, epochs shift, and all things wither, their existence remains eternal."

Nana felt as though grand ancient histories were unfolding before her. With Gu Yue’s words, eras cycled, and just witnessing it sent shivers down her spine.

"It truly is extraordinary... Did he take you there?"

"Yes. He never interfered with us, giving the three of us complete freedom. How far we could reach in the vast expanse of the universe depended entirely on ourselves. Even if we accomplished nothing in the end... at least we could still stay home with him."

The playful remark seemed to lighten the atmosphere around them.

Nana knew the Gu Yue before her was the most terrifying existence. Beyond what her eyes could see, her divine sense and perception could not detect this person at all—as if she had transcended into a higher form of life, far beyond this universe.

Gu Yue casually waved her hand, extracting a golden imprint from Nana’s mind and crushing it with a flick.

"You..."

"We share a connection. Consider this a small favor—nothing worth mentioning." Gu Yue continued walking, unconcerned.

Nana followed silently behind, glancing at Gu Yue’s profile. She was so different from the Gu Yue she remembered.

Before long, the two arrived at the heart of the Valley of Ten Thousand Dragons.

The Nine Great Dragon Kings had gathered there, all in human form, awaiting the arrival of their ancient sovereign. Even Di Tian did not stand upon the throne, instead gazing at his master with reverence.

"You have all been reborn..." Gu Yue observed the assembled dragon clansmen within the valley. Beyond them, countless soul beasts and ordinary beasts stretched for hundreds of thousands of miles, paying homage to Gu Yue in a grand ceremony.

"Wow! So spectacular!" Bai Yue and Bai Na appeared beside Gu Yue, holding their "second mother’s" hand as they marveled at the sea of beasts outside the valley.

Nana stepped away, standing quietly beside the Water Dragon King. Bai Yue and Bai Na occasionally glanced at her—perhaps because she bore a slight resemblance to their "first mother," which intrigued them.

In response, Nana smiled softly, shedding her earlier despondency. After learning the truth, she felt much more at peace.

"Di Tian... My true self is not here. This is merely a projection. Do not trouble yourself further—I will not stay long." Gu Yue sighed softly, then turned to Bai Yue and Bai Na. "Will you return with me?"

The two girls shook their heads.

"Xiao Yue’s power has already been sealed by your father. I have no concerns there. But Xiao Na... if you wish to stay, you must also be sealed. Otherwise, with your temperament... you might cause serious trouble."

With that, Gu Yue cast a spell, sealing away the majority of Bai Na’s strength.

Both were daughters of Bai Xu, born with peerless divine constitutions. Their divine restrictions had already reached the third layer, surpassing even the old Dragon God. If these two were allowed to run wild, they might truly bring about catastrophe.

"Ah?" Bai Na immediately felt her energy plummet, her expression deflating.

"Your lifespans are long. The time you spend here is but a fleeting experience. I hope you can learn from the events here and grow from them. Bi Ji, I leave them in your care."

"As you command, Sovereign." Bi Ji bowed respectfully.

"Then I shall take my leave. Seeing the dragon clan thrive like this brings me joy. Di Tian, you have done well—far better than I as the Dragon God. You’ve learned from the Tang family’s mistakes, acting with restraint. This... is the path to lasting prosperity."

"Sovereign... Thank you, Sovereign!" Di Tian bowed deeply.

With that, the projection dissipated, and everything returned to normal—except for the addition of two mischievous troublemakers.
