Dragon Poor

185. Giant Dragon (2)

The beast starts racing again. The Temple Knights, including the group of Julians, follow behind and repair the broken ranks instead of speeding up.

“Pay special attention to the perimeter of the quadrant. ”

This is the land of the Demon King, which has eaten so many people. I had to preserve my strength and prepare for an ambush just in case. I had to try to avoid the tiredness before I even fought too fast.

Moreover, where Goldrake was headed anyway.

Somewhere west of here, where the great monster's neck stands as if it were a black tower, Goldrake's only destination was there.

“Hmm."

Julian gazes carefully at some of the monsters rising from the ominous bright sky.

“What the hell is that guy? ”

Julian asked if anyone from the Holy Church, who borders the Demon King's Land, might know the identity of that monster.

Unfortunately, it seems that the characters in the church were the same when they first saw the creature.

“God's history has long been recorded, but I swear there was no mention of such monsters. ”

In the answer of the slave priest, the Templar Knights' commander adds a word.

“Whatever it is, it doesn't seem to be beneficial to us. ”

The dark light that matched the Demon King's Land, even if it wasn't, there didn't seem to be intact life on this contaminated earth.

The cursed land where everything we meet is hostile, but Julian still cares about the identity of that monster. It was the sound of crying that resembled that of Goldrake.

Perhaps that monster is the reason for the lord's sudden unfamiliarity.

“We'll find out when we get close. ”

If that monster really is the one who brought the lord here, you'll know it when you see it.

The lord's dragons were all a little bit like the mythical dragons, so it shouldn't be hard to distinguish.

Goldrake is now completely gone and no longer visible, but he is not worried about getting lost. The presence of the Black Beast still points the way for the group to move forward.

“Well…. ”

I walked for several hours without rest.

Even if it was a slow pace in case of an ambush, the distance they traveled was never small. But it was still a long way from the beast.

On the way, the characters and priests of the Templar Knights sought a way to deal with the giant monster. But no one could think of a sharp way.

Nevertheless, the Knights of the Shrine were not afraid of monsters. In the beginning, they thought that even though they were specialized in fighting magic, no matter how big they were, their swords with their power would be able to fight that monster.

Those thoughts were not arrogance.

Knights of the Templar Knights proved that their bravery did not steer from ignorance by repelling many of the magic that attacked them so easily.

The priesthood was the same.

The priests' abilities were at least enough to fill the absence of versatile wizards in this contaminated land. The choir, which they do not rest and murmur, keeps the group from eroding, and the occasional light of the holy god melts away without a trace.

The 3,000 paladins were also inferior.

Blessed by faithful priests, the wallpapers and veteran warriors who twisted their swords were always prepared to be martyrs to protect the Temples and the priests. And he had the skills to do that.

Since the three groups complemented each other's deficiencies as if the gears were interlocked, not even the vicious and ferocious horses could stand in front of the saints.

They were the natural enemies of magic and magic.

However, even so, I couldn't help but hesitate when I met the army of magic filled with plains.

“What the hell... ”

“Oh, God. ”

The knights of the temple, who had never been shaken when I met any magic, were shrugged. The priests and the paladins were the same.

The army of undead and madam that appears to be at least tens of thousands, fortunately, that horrific army is not theirs to see.

“Oh, there! ”

When all of the members of the Royal Army were distracted by the unsearchable forces of magic, only Julian's group looked away.

“Redburn and Griffins! ”

I saw red Wyvern's repeated descent and ascent in their eyes from time to time and Griffin Riders flying lower than necessary.

“Ah…. ”

I wanted to run to their lord right away, but I couldn't. It was suicide to pass through an army of horses filled with plains.

They finally roll their feet in front of the barely found lord.

“Wait, I don't see the lord. ”

Among the cavalry, Jonathan, who had bright eyes, said with a frowny face.

“What?"

I saw the Redburn and the group, who thought the lord was riding, looked back at Jonason.

“The Redburn. I'm alone.”

Jonason, who is looking up at the sky, tightens his eyes and looks at the other side and is happy to see you.

“Goldrake! The lord rides on a goldrake! ”

The golden beast, who ran off alone, was on top of it, the lord they sought so desperately for.

“Ahh!”

However, Jonathan's face, which was bright and cheerful, soon grew white.

It's because I have finally realized who the targets of the horses filled the plains are. Their lord struggles with the myriad of magical creatures that flock to Goldrake.

“Why Gold Drake now…. ”

I didn't understand. The usual lord would have stepped out of his seat in the Red Burn instead of facing that army of never-ending magic. The current lord, however, recklessly chose to fight the witches on the ground.

It was a choice I couldn't understand.

“There's a crowd over there! ”

At the sound of one of the temple knights shouting, Jonason finally understood the reason for his reckless choice.

It was not that their lord could not escape. He didn't run away.

The lord was once again fighting to protect someone, just as he had fought many times over the mounted soldiers of Noctune to protect the civilians in his encampment.

Huff.

Clarke and his cavalry are half mesmerized by the sights unfolding from beyond. They wake up to a sharp hiss.

“Julian?”

With the helmet's cotton armor made to fit into their little heads, they see the young seeds inspecting their equipment.

“What are you... ”

“Are you just going to watch? ”

She hides as if she were about to run into an army of hideous devils.

“Get out of the way. I'll go. ”

Clark frowns for a moment. He pulls out the double-edged sword he had tied to his saddle.

“Well, let's face it, those ugly bastards are dirt. And the grounder is our rice. ”

At Clark's words, Jonathan shakes his head.

“Wow, look at these lunatics. Jump in there?”

But Jonason, who was just saying that, suddenly pulled out my sword.

“You can't mount a cavalry unless you're crazy. ”

Charging through spearers with their eyes wide open to eat them was something no sane person would do. But the blue coats were the ones who made an example of that madness. And these were the craziest of those blue coats.

“When did we decide to go in and look at the numbers? It's black. ”

Hansen and the rest of the cavalry laughed as they pulled out my weapon. Apparently, he was really going to throw himself into the sea of that horrible devil.

“If you're scared later, don't blame me, just stay here. Take your dick off instead. ”

As soon as Hansen tries to answer Julian's question, a heavy voice intervenes between them.

“It's as if the young lady is speaking to us. ”

He was the commander of the Templar Knights.

“Did you feel that way? ”

The Templar Knight Master smiles blatantly at your blatant provocation.

“Did you really think the Knights of the Temple of Astoria would turn their backs on those evil creatures? Seeing that, too? ”

The commander's gaze was on the golden beast and the rider, struggling with the witches.

“We are not afraid of death to send evil back to the Abyss. And I don't think that place looks dangerous enough to be prepared for death. ”

The knights of the temple who were standing behind the master dreadfully at the end of the sentence, each one of them uttered a toast and drew his sword and cut the sign.

“Leave 1,000 paladins to protect the Archbishop and the priests. We and 2,000 paladins are enough to deal with them. ”

The paladins began to move indiscriminately in the direction of the Master.

“Don't give up! ”

Kim Sun-hyuk, who was on the golden drake, shouted in a split and rested voice. Every time he shouted, the survivors who were overwhelmed by the unsearchable army of magical objects regained their courage.

“Hang on! Astoria's army is right around the corner! ”

However, the insides of Kim Sun-hyuk, who was only encouraging his friends, were burning.

There were too many magic objects. The situation was too bad to go through with just the courage. Survivors have been fighting for too long, and they are exhausted. And so was he.

“Just run, you bastard! ”

“Stupid bastard! I want to die with you!”

Survivors turn their backs to flee alone, noticing that he has reached his limit.

“If I go! If I leave, I'm gonna tear this whole place apart! ”

Kim Sun-hyuk cursed at those survivors.

“Why did you come to this shitty world to do this? You bastards!”

The survivors look furious at his words.

“So shut up and fight! You just have to hold on! ”

It wasn't empty. He knew the reinforcements had arrived right around the corner. It was just a question of when they arrived.

“Please! Please! ”

Kim Sun-hyuk earnestly prayed. I prayed and prayed that Astoria's reinforcements would get here as soon as possible.

Is it through his prayers?

“Winner! Reinforcements have arrived! ”

Lafayette, who was busy sweeping the sky, told me about the sweetness of the reinforcements.

The work of the Templar Knights was amazing. The power they gathered on the blade, instead of the sword, tore the bodies of the witches apart like a bell. Tens of thousands of magic could not stand in their way.

Eventually, they managed to end up in the middle of the magical things that seemed to be endless.

“We'll take it from here! ”

The paladins who followed the Templar Knights surround Kim Sun-hyuk and the survivors. It was around that time that Julian's group, who were mixed up in between, rushed to their lord.

“My lord!”

Kim Sun-hyuk, who breathed on the golden drake, found a familiar face and frowned.

“Huh? What's wrong with you guys? ”

“Why... ”

Julian, who was beating him with a face filled with greetings and resentment, opened his eyes wide.

“My lord. My face... ”

The battle did not end easily. Temples and paladins were brave, but there were too many of them. But the never-ending battle didn't exist in the world, so the hard battle was over by the time the sun came up.

“What the hell is going on? ”

Even the remaining horses fled because of their sacred power, and the commander of the Temple Knights asked for help.

“These are the estramorwn survivors who were not part of the Western Rebellion. ”

Not surprising at all. It was not difficult to guess that they were foreigners who survived the chaos of the west, just by looking at their black heads.

In fact, there was something else I wanted to ask the director.

“What was that pillar of light...? ”

The Master's gaze flickers toward the Black Beast, who had never moved in the middle of that fierce battle.

“What is this monster? ”
