Dream Life

Lesson 5: Kanga Hill Defense Plan

Tria history October 19, 2017.

After returning from Thornbrough, Luna, “the one sent to God," was gathered together to discuss the face of the Lockhart family and the servants who were the Lord.

In order to strengthen the defense of the village, it was decided to increase the training time of the vigilante, increase the frequency of reconnaissance around the village, and furthermore, I was approved to use magic to build a castle wall around Kanga Hill.

But I still don't think this is enough, and I'm going to suggest it, but I need to check my fathers' perceptions before I do.

"What do you think you should be aware of if you think the Demons will attack you?"

My father answers my questions with no confidence.

"Right...... there will be a lot of them first. Even the Battle of Acree Chain a decade ago is attacking with several times the strength of the Royal Kaum Army. If there's a lot of goblins, it's a big enough threat."

I said, "Right. But is that all?" he further urges.

"Don't worry about the existence of Auga, even though the numbers are small after that. Only Father, Walt, Nicholas, Byron, Guy, Rod, and Miss Beatrice can cross one-on-one with Auga. You could cross, too, but in your case, you'd better have him fight as a magician. For example, even about thirty orgasms will fold the koshiko."

My father's analysis is correct. Level fifty or higher is mandatory to cross with a third-degree equivalent of an Auga. Loads are heavy in Mel, where the level is late forty units. I have a lower swordsman level than Mel, but I can handle it because I have a trump card called Demon Martial Arts.

But as my father put it, it would be better to fight as a magician to have a wider range of tactics and to advance the fight in his favor.

Currently, the average level of the Village of Rasmore vigilante is about thirty. Then four or five of us will cross with one another. The number of vigilante swordsmen and magicians is about two hundred. Think of it as a pair of five and you get 40 pairs. There are about thirty archers on this, so it's a calculation of fifty orgasms and each other.

With the addition of the seven grandfathers whose names were raised earlier, it would be about sixty bodies and each other.

But this is only an ideal situation to talk about. Four or five people will need some space to fight at the same time.

It is necessary to attack from at least the front and left and right sides that the number of people can effectively attack an integral orga, albeit a giant. Dozens of orgasms won't be spreading conveniently, so you should think it would be nice if you could attack a couple of them against a single orgasm.

Considering this, the father's view that even about thirty enemies fall into the fold is realistic.

When I said, "Is there anything else," I said, "I forgot."

"There are demons. When Winged Demon (Lesser Demon) and Imp (Imp) attacked this time, they bothered their heads with what to do."

"Exactly. While it is true that the high number of enemies and large demons like Orga are also threats, the most alarming are flying demons such as Wing Demons. Even if I build a fence, it won't help if they fly in the sky."

"With you, I don't think the Wingman needs to be afraid, either?

I nodded loudly,

"I'm not sure what the Wingman is capable of, but if he's a little devil, with me, Sharon, and Liddy, I'll let him slap down a hundred or two hundred. But you should think about it in your absence."

"So what are you going to do," my father asked.

"We've got a lot of crossbows in place this time."

"When you say mass, how much is it? About a hundred."

I shook my head, "It's over five hundred. You want a thousand units if you can," everyone on the spot flashes.

My grandfather, who has been turning to the listener, shakes his head "wearing it".

"I don't have that many countries. If you're an empire, you might as well gather... two hundred or three hundred in the northern governor's office."

That number seemed insane to my grandfather in the war.

Indeed, the status of the crossbow Ishiyumi in this world is low. The perception is that it is a half-way weapon because of its lower rate of continuous fire compared to a long bow and its lower power compared to magic.

"Crossbows are a very powerful weapon. Continuous shooting performance can be covered by numbers, and is magically unaffected by personal qualities. As long as you can load the Taiya Bolt, even women with weak arms can handle it. Compared to bows, the individual's skill difference is small, and if the attack power is close range, it can even damage the auga..."

Here's what I think.

Install and fortify walls on the Museum Hill. In doing so, a large number of towers about thirty metres high shall be installed so that they can be fired from the same height as the enemy. Keep this tower a stone construct made of earthly attribute magic, just like the walls.

There are few effective means against the flying type because it loses its power when launched, whether by bow or magic. Except for me and Sharon's magic, but the magic of a normal magician is influenced by gravity. This is because it mimics arrows and stone throwing.

The means of attack of the enemy, the Winged Demon or the Little Demon, seems to be dark attribute magic. I tend to wonder if building a tower would be the same if it was attacked from any higher heights, but magic also becomes less powerful if the distance is as far away as an arrow, and it is easier to prevent it with a shield or something. So when you attack, you have to approach and descend.

Of course, it decreases in power less because it will shoot down, but still, in order to do damage for sure, you need to approach it up to fifty meters or less, and then you have to lower your altitude.

Assuming you attack a soldier on the surface, if you consider a distance of fifty meters, if you shoot him down at forty-five degrees, it will be about thirty-five meters altitude. If you build a 30-meter tower, you can attack enemies at almost the same altitude.

It would be even easier if the Wings attacked the tower in a focused manner. With a gun-eyed shield on the stone tower, the soldiers won't have much damage, and the dark attribute magic doesn't just have the offensive power to destroy the stone tower, so you'll be able to nail down the aerial power.

Later it's a matter of numbers, but this assumes that housewives other than vigilantes will also take their weapons.

In siege warfare, many of the general public take weapons and are sometimes driven out into battle with women. Then you should have a weapon that can do damage from the start.

Another reason, if you castle, the number of swordsmen and magicians will be extremely reduced. Unless you've spread it out in a few places, but you're going to have a soldier. Another purpose is to force the Rangers.

"But crossbows are expensive... wouldn't you need a million C (krona) to buy a thousand things? You also have to think about care. You'll need craftsmen who can fix crossbows."

Nicholas presented the problem.

He's right, even cheap crossbows cost a thousand C and more than a million yen in Japanese yen. A thousand units would be a billion yen. Though moisturized by Scotch sales, it is a difficult amount to twist for the Lockhart Territory of a population of less than a thousand.

There are also problems with craftsmen. Crossbows are machines with complex mechanisms and are useless as weapons without specialist craftsmen. This craftsman, but not a blacksmith from Shirai, but a subordinate belonging to a national army. Naturally, the number of people is small and they go to other countries less often.

"Nicholas is right, we can't give out a million C's of gold at once. I just think I can give you the first hundred units to introduce."

I have a whole bunch of extra money to get my arsenal made in Ars. Turn that money around and you can buy about 100 units.

My father stabbed a nail in my words saying, "I'm not going to spend my son's earned money."

"This 100,000 C is what I saved with the intention of having my arsenal made in Ars. Our arsenals are so top of the line that we don't have any more, but we haven't paid the price. So far, there's no use for this gold."

My father hasn't convinced me yet, but I'm going to move on.

"I think about craftsmen. We recruit artisans on terms of moving to the village of Rasmore. Ask around the blacksmith's guild for an intermediary and one or two alcoholic craftsmen will get together."

My father groaned with a difficult face at my words, "... I wish I could do it alone or two..."

"Aren't the Dwarves quitting their blacksmiths and coming in bulk?

I almost snort at my father's words.

(It is true that conditional on moving to the village of Rasmore, hundreds of Dwarves are likely to come... well, the conditions remain unchanged because we are not still restricting migration, but we do not know what happens when the Lockhart family recruits...)

"Right. I'll think about that area a little more. But I think it's possible that a young artisan would come."

Subsequently, it was decided to increase the introduction of the crossbow "Isiyumi" in turn, and to ask commercial guilds to mediate about the craftsmen as well.

And I had another suggestion.

"I have another suggestion. If anyone in this village is a child and has a magical talent, I want to create a system where the Lockhart family will pay for their studies abroad..."

Another thought was the enhancement of the magician.

There are many children in this village. This has to do with the success of my reform plan and the reduction in infant mortality, but there are about a hundred children under the age of ten.

Until now, I seem to have checked to see if anyone has the talent of a healer, but I wasn't looking for someone with genuine magical talent. Instead, I couldn't find it. But from now on, there's Liddy, and there's me and Sharon. So I thought maybe we could find a talented kid.

If you headline within a young age and train like Sharon, you are likely to be a good magician. Of course, not all geniuses like Sharon, but still, if we teach them, they should be able to use magic more efficiently than regular magicians teach them.

The basic part is taught in this village, and those who want to study in Doctus are given scholarships by the Lockhart family. I may get used to urban life and not come back to the countryside, but that's the only way to break it off.

My father accepted this proposal with pleasure.

"With you and Lydia, mistakes can happen. It's a good thing we're expanding the possibilities of our children."

The Lockhart family has long had an understanding of education. Nicholas and his wife Kate are studying at a private school in the academic city of Doctus, and the patrol classes I have proposed have been accepted without resistance and are in favour of building fewer schools in the big cities.

Of course, it was difficult for economic reasons when we were poor, but now that we have been able to afford it financially, the standard of education is higher than that of Doctus, an academic city rather than the Imperial capital, only for children under the age of ten.

This proposal, however, does not consider it valid against defending Luna, which is on this agenda.

What the gods told me was to protect her and “teach and guide” her. “Teaching and guiding" would mean that I would be involved for a period of 10 years, or even 15 years. Because it's unlikely that we'll make it in time to raise a magician from now on.

There are special examples like me and Sharon, but they usually serve one person in fifteen to twenty years of starting training. Whether you're a classmate, like Quentin Worgman, or someone with qualities and hard work, it's best to get to level twenty, even if you do a lot of training and actual combat for about a decade, including the period before entering the college.

On the other hand, a single magician is said to be about level twenty-five. Quentin would be level twenty-five in less than five years, but even a hard-working man like him would take as long as that. So I consider the suggestion of raising a magician separate from this one.

At the end of the discussion, move to the cafeteria of the mansion. I called my mother Tanya, Maid Chief Molly Vassel and others, and my father explained the situation. There was also a sibling Rosalie figure on the spot.

She is told my secret where she settled in this village, and even revealed to Angelica Colridge, her maid of honor, and Eleanor Masefield, Elena.

None of the three of you have changed your attitude especially when you learn my secrets. My brother explains, and I don't know how much he's talking about it, but he thinks I can trust him.

My mother looked serious when I finished explaining my father.

When my father asked, "Are you so worried," my mother shook her head, "Wearing,"

"I have no doubt that you will protect me. But if that child named Luna came to this world in the same way that Zach did, he is separated from his parents and brothers at that stage. Not only that, we've been together for ten years, I can't believe we broke up like this with our parents and friends in this world..."

Sharon's mother Claire and Mel's mother Polly are also nodding at her mother's words. Maybe I think so extra because I have a child the same age.

"We'll do whatever we can... No, we've come up with something good!

My mother's expression suddenly brightened.

"Let's make that kid our kid. You take it as an adopted daughter. That way, we'll have more families at once."

Rosalie agrees with my mother's words, "That's a good thing, mother-in-law".

I didn't know what to say and kept my mouth shut, but I was wondering if that was really okay.

(Is it something that makes it that easy to be a family? I've lost my family twice. It should be stained with pessimistic thoughts now, but is it ok......)

My father also said to my mother's suggestion, "Right. That's good," he agreed, "and the atmosphere on the ground was about to be determined by my mother's suggestion. I accidentally said," You should check your intentions… "

At the same time, my gaze gathers.

"You shouldn't have had a family name, but still, if you had a Lockhart name, you might think you lost your ties to your previous family. Besides, you won't be able to decide Luna in her current mental state either. So why not treat it that way instead of a formally adopted child?"

My mother convinced you of my words, too.

"Right. You shouldn't decide on your own. But I'm going to be her mother."

My father grinned bitterly at my mother, who was willing to

"Right. Let's think about it when Luna is fifteen to officially adopt her. By then, you'll know enough about us."

When Luna is adopted by the Lockhart family, Mel and Sharon need to be called “Master Luna”.

(The village of Tisek is a pioneering village, so there basically shouldn't have been any ascending or descending identities. Look at the village house, there wasn't an extremely big house, and if all of a sudden you have an identity system, aren't you confused? Especially if you're Japanese of my age, you might think you've got a wall. You should treat it as “normal” as possible)

"It's the way Luna calls it, but suddenly she may be confused by“ Dear. ”Especially if he lived in the same place as me."

I'll explain why, but my father and his squire don't seem to be coming too far. Only my mother nodded, "I think so." My mother rides balls from her Wellburn town daughter and is the wife of a knight. Maybe that's what I think because even at my brother's wedding there was a subtle distance between him and his relatives.

"Okay. Let's say Luna treats you like Lydia or Beatrice and treats you like a family. Molly, call him Luna, not you..."

Thus the treatment of Luna was decided.
