Dream Life

Lesson 54: Reversal

The surprise attack on Vlad Varonos, king of the undead, ended in failure. It is not a complete failure because it has eliminated the surrounding Necromancer (Rich) and Knight Without a Neck (Durahan), but it has no goal whatsoever to defeat Vlad, the ultimate goal.

Even fewer lockheart sides had no choice but to divide their forces and unlimited chances of victory were lower, as the larger skeleton of the Augus, which was further on its way to the main entrance, returned to Vlad.

I was just desperately thinking about defeating Vlad, as my grandfather ordered me to.

So much so that the defense of the pitch-black armor makes you think you should outperform the dragon scales and deal with the walls. Moreover, Vlad himself has the ability to deactivate (cancel) magic, and the attack of the Magic Sword, the trump card, has little effect.

I can't even insult my offense. The pitch-black sword is stunning Beatrice just by plundering. That's enough to disable even Dwarf's masterpiece gauge notebook armor.

And most fearful is its Endurance (HP). It was easy to undo when my arm was slashed off, plus I didn't feel itchy when a spear pierced my torso, and I didn't get an arrow on my forehead or sway.

He forcibly suppresses the impatient mind, hangs self-allusions to calm down, and becomes desperate to look for weaknesses to observe enemy movements.

(Power is more than Beatrice, Byron. This is to be assumed... the movement is comparable to the scratch... no, if it is comparable to the scratch, Mel should have been slashed down early. You mean fast but wasted a lot of movement... no, you don't...)

I've watched and noticed enemy movements.

With all that weapons and armor, even more strength and speed, he doesn't come out aggressively on offense. If you can just plunder it and you have protective equipment that can even be taken by a blow all over your grandfather's body, your grandfather and Mel should be out of combat in no time if you go on offense on the premise of being attacked.

(Is there a reason you can't go on offense? He is calling back a large skeleton after blowing up the bull. No, the timing is around defeating the last rich... what do you mean? With all that ability, Rich and Skeleton shouldn't be needed. If for any reason it is necessary......)

Even look at the King of the Undead while all the enemies' abilities are blind.

My grandfather and Mel flirt with Vlad in a brilliant collaboration and start showing frustration such as grunting "depressed pottery" domoga. On closer look, the amount of cold air erupting from the gap in the armor and freezing the surrounding area was increasing.

(You get more cold air when you're frustrated...... you don't get fever with anger, you get cold air?... but what are you putting out cold air for? Is that like exhalation? Too little information…)

I can hardly find the weakness of the enemy. When I started to learn to rush, I could hear Sharon saying, "I'm here" from behind.

"Why did you come! This place is dangerous! reprimand," but "I'll take as much reprimand as I want later. Now we should focus on defeating our enemies," he said, nodding reluctantly.

Rethink that it would be more helpful to be able to borrow Sharon's wisdom.

"Did you see the enemy's weakness? I've been asking," so I'm going to explain all the facts I've noticed.

Sharon was staring at Vlad as he nodded small.

In the meantime, the deaths of my grandfather and brothers were also fought. My grandfather and Mel are starting to see tiredness and less trouble. He manages to maintain equilibrium with the arrows released by Guy and Dan, but he's going to run out of arrows with both of them.

My brother Rod, Nicholas and Beatrice are even tougher.

Over three metres tall, an orgasmic skeleton is swinging his long arm and attacking. The attack is heavy and cannot be taken cheaply, thus avoiding it all. As a result, we cannot actively step forward and the number of enemies has barely decreased.

The three are skillfully moving not to turn a dozen large skeletons back, but it was only a matter of time before they could be surrounded or pulled out.

I was more concerned about the struggle, but Sharon used his preoccupation and stared only at Vlad.

"Maybe you're cooling something down with that cold air?

Suddenly Sharon said that. I'm confused for a moment, but I can understand what you're trying to say.

"Cool it... maybe it needs to be forced to cool... if the power section is preventing it from heating..."

The flashing thing is that Vlad has a very powerful power, but it could be an enemy. The output of the power section, which is an energy source, is too large for the body, and if the body moves vigorously, it will not be able to cool in time with normal cooling, forcing the cold air to flow into the body and cool it.

It is explainable to think that only the counter is used and is kept to a minimum of movement because there is a limit to heat dissipation.

"Thank you, Sharon. I'll give it a try," he says, running under his grandfathers.

"Dear uncle, Mel. Stay back for a little while! There's something I want to try."

Stand in front of Vlad without hearing back. My grandfather said, "You get it!" She asks her voice tense, "I don't know yet," she answers, "rest a little in the meantime," and comes forward.

Vlad mocks "one kid, ni how many gadekills," but I slash in without saying it back.

Naturally, Vlad fights back against my attack, but in the first place I'm not going to defeat him by attack, switching to dodge immediately and avoiding it without difficulty.

Calmly look and find out, but this enemy's swordsmanship skills are not higher than I thought. Exquisitely veteran soldier level, would be about level forty. It is due in large part to their high physical abilities that they were able to cross more than one another with their grandfather above level eighty with that degree of arm.

It's not hard to avoid as long as you know that. It is easy to predict the linear motion that you leave to your strength. Perhaps both my grandfather and Mel noticed that and kept dodging it.

I persevere in my attacks as if flirting with Vlad and continue to avoid them at critical intervals. The frustrating Vlad gradually swerves. And after about a minute of avoiding it, he released a bright white mist from his entire body, lowering the ambient temperature.

It was as expected. This enemy is naturally not an organism and is not moving in muscle. It should be moving with some kind of power like magic.

If that power was too high, it would be fine if it was driven for a short period of time, but it could become overheated and unable to move if it became a protracted battle.

(I wonder what would happen if I actively fed them instead of just overheating them. Do you want to try...)

If you make several similar attacks, your enemies will fight back with a compact counter to see if they've learned too, but still, if you continue for about a minute, you'll have a lot of cold air leaking out of the gap in your armor.

Now I'm sure. And then we go on a bet.

If the enemy's weakness lies in its cooling capacity, you can take it away. However, there is no stopping the cooling because it is releasing cold air from the body. There are ways to bury an enemy in the ground that can't release cold air, but it's hard work to trap an enemy with that high physical ability into a pitfall-like trap.

For example, you just have to give more heat than your cooling capacity. But troublesome, ranged attacks aside, even flaming swords are deactivated.

Imagine but I guess the power of the Spirit is deactivated. But can't we deactivate it if it's a pure physical phenomenon? That's what I thought.

"Dear uncle, Mel. The three of us will launch an attack," he says, handsigning Mel and Sharon to tell them what I think.

Because there is no complicated vocabulary in the hand sign, the two express their opposite intentions in desperate shape, but they realised why I dared to use the hand sign and never disagreed with it in words.

Instead, it was a situation where the brothers' war situation was unexpected and they didn't know when the big skeletons were going to break in. So far Vlad is only maintaining equilibrium because he is confident in his own abilities, ordering the big skeletons to eliminate his brothers.

My grandfather stands in the front, Mel and I are located on both sides. It's like a three-way, simultaneous attack, but in fact, my grandfather and Mel are alternating, poking a gap, and I'm going to turn around behind it.

Compared to when I started fighting, I could see room for my grandfather's movements. Fighting must have made it possible to read the enemy's skill. Still, it strikes without alarm and sounds like Vlad's sturdy armor-beating cancer.

Likewise, Mel was moving better. Being a swordsmanship genius, she has instinctively cut off Vlad's movements from the start, and continues to dodge sharp slaughter like enemy electroluminescence on a single piece of paper. After that minimal evasion, he was striking back precisely, further increasing the enemy's frustration.

As opposed to those two, I quietly turn behind Vlad. Vlad has also noticed that I am going around behind him, and he has made several attacks of restraint, but because of the more intense attacks of his grandfathers than that, he is gradually unable to reach me.

But there's still not enough clearance to move on to the operation I'm after.

My grandfather felt such a hurry for me.

My grandfather tells me he's going to battle with his eyes. I know what you're willing to do, but I'm going to believe my grandfather and move the operation to execution.

"I saw your move!," my grandfather provoked, plunging in suddenly.

Next to it, he said, "Dear predecessor! It's impotent!" exclaims Mel.

At first I couldn't understand what my grandfather would do, but soon I could understand what Mel was trying to say.

But I dare not say anything. Having figured out my grandfather's readiness, I'm tempered in my heart that it's the only time, and I'm going to execute the maneuver I thought about.

My chest hurt. I knew my grandfather was about to stab me.

My grandfather swung heavily, trying to make a blow all over his body. Vlad felt it was a gap and poked out his pitch-black sword with a mockery of "Foolish Cana".

The pitch-black sword pierced my grandfather's abdomen, removing the sword along with the groan of "gohoo," and my grandfather's movement stopped.

My grandfather took the bet. To beat the effect of a pitch-black sword with spiritual power and bet that it stops the enemy from moving.

My grandfather won the bet.

"You hung up," he murmured, advancing further and grabbing the pitch-black sword firmly with his hands.

Vlad wondered if the action was unexpected, "What sulnoda!" He uttered a voice that contained a rush, but his grandfather clenched his sword firmly and stopped Vlad from moving.

I watched my grandfather clouding my vision with tears. Perhaps my grandfather is fatally wounded. It suppresses the urge to go healing magic even now and quietly casts a pseudo-perche-effect spell that is the trump card.

"God of Fire (Ignis), who commands fire. I ask for your strength, for the movement of heat. I do not give my life to you. Perche Effect"

Against Vlad, who stopped moving, I unleash a thrust to bump into each body while maintaining the magic of the perche effect. The aim is the gap between the chest armor "Cuiras" and the lumbar armor "Skirt" on the back. It's a place where humans would inflict fatal injuries, but probably has no effect on Vlad. But this time, my purpose was different.

After piercing my grandfather, Vlad's legs have stopped completely and my penetration penetrates the gap in the armor as I aim. If it's true, I have the feeling of breaking a bone here, or penetrating through my gut, but the sword plunges in leaving me feeling like I've pierced a rubbery soft but resistant homogeneous substance.

The source of heat dissipation was imagined on the right hand side and the source of heat absorption was imagined on both legs, exercising the magic of the pseudoperche effect at maximum output.

All I thought about was sending heat directly into the enemy's body. The magic of the pseudo-perche effect is the fire attribute magic, exploiting the power of the Spirit of Fire, but the Spirits do not act directly on Vlad's body simply by carrying out the movement of heat. The power of the Spirit is only acting on the sword because it also uses the source of heat dissipation as its sword this time.

The temperature at my feet drops rapidly.

Vlad was the first to say, "How many times have you said that, Carnoda? Effect Canu......" he mutters, but soon he says, "What the heck, Sita!," he rushes. The first time I showed something that looked emotional, I immediately said "Waste Da" and tried to rip me off by shaking my body like I did when I blew Beatrice away.

I desperately grab Vlad's black cloak with my left hand. I swung it a few times but because I wouldn't leave, I turned my right hand back and tried to grab me.

"My predecessors! My predecessors!" I heard Mel screaming.

"What are you doing! Why don't you help Zach do something about it! Mel returned to me with a reprimand.

Mel, as my grandfather put it, aimed at the elbow of his right hand that was stretched out to me. Vlad's arm is subjected to Mel's intense slaughter and falls bottomless.

My grandfather was satisfied with the sight, or he slowly fell. Vlad kicks his falling grandfather and retrieves the sword that was being grabbed.

In the meantime, Mel wept, adding more fierceness. Vlad puts that onslaught on Mel's shoulder with one left hand, adding to the weight of me. Mel lost her mind and blew away just like Beatrice.

Mel's penetration was not in vain. In the meantime, I was carried on without cutting off the magic of the perche effect.

Hot air, not cold air, began to erupt from Vlad's body. The movement also slows down gradually.

The moment he thought he seemed to manage, Vlad had taken the way he wanted.

He put a sword in his own stomach and tried to stab me through his own body.

But that method was within my expectations. Let go of the sword where it moves as if to self-blade, dodging Vlad's pitch-black sword.

Rolling down the ground, he said, "Sharon! scream."

I try to pull Mel and my grandfather back together screaming.

Immediately after that, a vortex of flames appears around Vlad. But not in a position where the flames hit Vlad's body directly, it was like a cage of circular flames.

Vlad didn't seem to be affected by his own sword, but he was clearly moving slowly. If I had moved earlier, I would have easily gotten out of the whirlpool of flames, but I am stopping the movement in such a way as to poke one knee and pray.

Sharon's fiery vortex, Firestorm's magic, disappeared after a minute or so of continuation. The waves of darkness still keep coming out, but Vlad doesn't move with one knee poked.

It was a strange sight that seemed mysterious with the light of the demonic props of the lights scattered by the searchlights upon the appearance of offering that prayer.

Even though I was blinded by that figure, when I quickly approached him to stab him to stop and retrieve the sword of love, I flew my neck with my head hanging.

Finally, the waves of darkness disappeared.

In the vortex of flames, Vlado Varonos accepted the fact that he would extinguish himself.

(Enemy Ganque Sees Sugita Youda... Power Te Arrogant Ninatte Itanoka. No, Kono enemies. Ha, no. I know. Dakara, Lost Letanoda......)

Although I accepted the fact of defeat, I could not honestly accept my own destiny.

He was the survivor of an ancient civilization - a civilization that perished about four thousand years ago. He was unaffected by Kunaran syndrome, as were ancient researchers, for whom Zacharias was the Saeum Mountains, but was caught up in the subsequent collapse of the world, sealed east of the Aquila Mountains in what the Demons called the Wilderness of Despair (Desperationis).

The wilderness of despair was a kind of prison. It doesn't even get out, and the food in hand is slowly decreasing. In such despair, he met a certain being. The presence gave him a new body and told him that it was possible to go outside when the time was up.

(Now Sieba, he ha evil god deata no darrow. I hasono evil god no sweet words ni ride lucicana cutta. Lunar no son naru existential hand niileva complete na body hand ni entry le, world domination decyl. Sonna sweet words ni......)

The body given to him was also to be described as a complex of undead and golem. The immortality of the undead and the versatility of the golem seemed ideal. Moreover, this body was made of a different logic from this world, the Proverbs, and was not influenced by the power of the Spirit.

He was a magic engineer in ancient civilization and used his spare time to modify Golem's body. As a result, he had an absolute defense against magic and gained far more power over humans. He was also given a sword that acts directly on the outer shell of a very high defense and the spirit of his opponent by the presence that gave him his body.

But his body had its faults. Because it was originally forced to exist, its too strong ability causes the Demonic Crystal Stone, the energy source, to overheat and eventually cause the body to collapse. Over a long period of time he developed a demonic prop that creates liquid nitrogen and introduced a method to force the demonic crystal stone to cool. Though the constraints could not be eliminated altogether, it was possible to prevent overheating to the extent of normal combat and assumed that the practical problems had been solved.

Around two thousand years ago now, a species called the Demons lost their lives in the wilderness of despair while he was performing physical modifications. He makes his soul his own family and prepares it for the time to come. When he gained his undead abilities, he also gained his abilities as a Dead Man (Necromancer).

And the time has come.

He left the desperate wilderness to cross the Aquila Mountains.

When crossing Aquila, a battle is waged against a large demon. That's when he noticed his own bodily defects.

After prolonged combat or attack at maximum output, the cooling capacity is insufficient and the Demonic Crystal Stone overheats. As a result, he further increased his family and turned himself into a thorough command policy.

But he was optimistic. Because it was taught that if the demonic crystal stone of the Son of the Moon was incorporated, this shortcoming would be eliminated.

When he crossed the Aquila Mountains, his legions were over thirteen thousand.

At that time, the flames around him were out. But overheated bodies refuse to move.

The memories of when he was a human being who had never remembered for thousands of years when his neck was cut off were reflected in his mind. But that was never known to anyone.

I defeated Vlad, and I said, "I've taken over the enemy general!" and raise the sword high. But no one responded to that cry.

Of the brothers who were dealing with a large skeleton, Nicholas, who was losing his shield, has taken the relentless blow of a skeleton and fallen as a big letter on the ground. To fill that hole, Guy and Dan resolutely challenge a large skeleton with a sword, but have not even been able to lower Nicholas back.

My brother and Beatrice were both exhausted and in no strange situation when they fell.

I hang a first aid cure magic on my grandfather's abdomen and head to a bunch of skeletons. My magic power (MP) has already been exhausted, and when I exercised any more magic, I was stunned.

When I joined my brothers, suddenly a giant flaming dragon hit the skeletons. Sharon unleashed the magic of the Fire Dragon Roar.

I looked back unexpectedly.

Sharon was running out of magic (MP) in the battle until then, and it should have been in a state where standing was doing it. The girlfriend unleashed the magic of great output. Definitely out of magic, and in the worst case, to death.

"Sharon!" cries Sharon, slightly grinning, illuminated by the flames of the fiery dragon roar (Dragon Roar). And then he slowly fell.

The magic of her death burned the skeletons of the orgasm one after the other.

Numerous skeletons kneel after serious damage. Although it could not be wiped out altogether, it succeeded in buying precious time.

"Brother! I'll even pull the tunnel in the meantime! Beatrice has Nicholas! Guy and Dan carry your uncle and Mel! I'll carry Sharon!

My brother immediately understood and said, "I will be your lord! scream."

Everyone moved quickly and succeeded in evacuating into the tunnel. But of the nine Lockhart family warriors who ambushed through the tunnel, only five stood.
