Dream Life

Lesson 58: Noble Street

Around noon on February 11th.

When I was talking about improving the quality of wine and distillery production in the Duke of Ezarrington and the Marquis of Seawell, my fathers came after the ceremonial meeting of the Duke.

My father seems to have questioned my presence in the Duke's office, but he greets the Duke without touching it.

The duke who received it said, "How are you getting ready for the ceremony?," he said.

My father gave me a bewildered look,

"I think we're going to figure it out, but in a situation where we don't even know what's going on..."

"You can leave it to the Ritual Service. Because it's everyday for them."

After smiling and saying, "It's lunch time. Would you like to join me?" he asked.

I take an invitation from the Duke for no reason to say no.

Meals were transported to the conference room next to the office room.

Just enough lunch (lunch) to be called dinner (dinner) is served at the Imperial Chancellery.

Seafood soups, warm vegetable salads, well-cooked white fish, and roasted beef steaks line up.

The Duke took a bottle of pottery that his servant had brought,

"Wine should be cooled by you. This belongs to eastern Ezarrington and is somewhat sour."

A glass will be provided, but that is exactly what the Chancellery meant, it was made of glass, not a metal goblet.

"It would be better if you made this too..."

That's what I say, lift the wine glass.

Although it is true that thick glasses are decorated with gold, there is no impression that they are less transparent and that they are so good. However, this is my opinion, and in this world, even glasses of this magnitude are sufficiently luxurious.

Tasting white wine and cooling to a moderate temperature.

When I give that to the service, I pour it into each glass.

The meal began without any particular tone, such as a toast.

"After all, when you cool it, it doesn't taste any different."

"No, this is because of the high potential (potential) of this wine. This will also be more palatable if aged in a bottle for about three years."

This Ezarrington wine had a firm, chablis-like body, with floral (floral) aromas close to Chardonnay and slightly stronger acidity.

Is it from last year, it has a strong barrel aroma and goes well with shellfish stock and well cooked fish aromas.

My father and brother have also disappeared from the initial tired feeling of coming in, enjoying wine and cooking.

Having attended a banquet with the Duke at the Blacksmith Guild Branch in Ezarrington, he no longer seems to be the opponent to force tension.

"Earlier, I heard you found a good wine at Lord Clement's, but in fact, to what extent?

We talked about it even before my fathers arrived, but mainly about measures to improve quality and building distilleries, and not much about the newly found red wine in the village of Mulan.

"That wine is the supreme wine. Lord Ignacious said he would deliver some to His Excellency's mansion, so I was wondering if I could taste it this evening."

"You're so“ supreme "! That's exciting!

After saying that with excitement, I get a serious look.

"It's that red wine grape, but is it possible to grow it in our territory?

I've still heard about my potential as an industry as a lord. As expected about this, no surprises.

"Cultivation itself will be possible. However, I can't guarantee that it will taste the same in Ezarrington."

Why is that? Ezarrington and Seawell are next door to each other. It's not as climatic as it sounds. "

"I can't say much because I didn't go around the territory, but the production of white grapes for white wine is thriving in your territory. We have heard, however, that few black grapes are made for red wine. I hope this is simply a matter of preference, but if the soil causes it, it could only be of lower quality"

"I see," the Duke nodded.

"It would also be a wine-selling strategy, but I think the Ezarrington area should compete in white wine"

"Because you compete with Seawell leading the sales strategy?

The Duke is smiling, but his eyes are not smiling.

"That's also true, but Seawell wines should be explosively popular in the next few years. No, it will. If that happens, I wonder if it would be foolish for the later Ezzarington territories to challenge the battle with red wine. I think it would be better to improve the quality of the white wines that we still have a reputation for and establish the status of white wines alongside Seawell's red."

"You sure do. Lord Clement also has Radford. Given his visibility, it would be foolish to dare challenge Seawell to fight"

I had lunch while we talked about that.

"Is this a banquet with the blacksmiths tonight?

"Yes, it is planned," my father replies.

"I have already spoken to Lord Clement, but tomorrow it will be dinner at our mansion. Stay tuned."

The three of us bowed our heads and responded, breaking up with the Duke.

In the afternoon, he joined Viscount Radford, the guide.

After guiding us, the Viscount was coordinating an aristocratic dinner party attended by the Lockhart family as the Seawell family's housekeeper.

In the carriage back from the Chancellery, the Viscount told us about his plans for tomorrow and beyond.

"Beginning tomorrow night, it will be dinner with the Grand Duke and each Duke's house. Tomorrow at the Duke of Ezzarington's house, the day after tomorrow at the Grand Duke of Langton, followed by a luncheon at the Duke of Gabiston's house, that night at the Duke of Ingolthrop's house…"

There will be an open dinner party for the elders, the big men.

My father and brother are dropping shoulders because weariness is a must.

"It's unusual to be invited by so many people. Your palace also had a headache."

This time, the Seawell Marquis adjusts it because the Seawell family that keeps the Lockhart family partitions everything, but it seems that there were too many big men and it was just a hard task to set the order.

I was sympathetic to my fathers and I heard that I had nothing to do with it.

"By the way, I'm going to ask Lord Zacharias to attend the dinner party as well. Of course, with his wife or fiancée."

The Viscount came in because I had an extra look on my face.

"Is it all dinner party! I thought it was once or twice..."

"That's what I thought, too, but there's a strong request coming for Lord Zacharias to be present for all of the famous Duke's houses, including the Grand Duke. You can't say more than the Duke's house."

When I was stunned, the Viscount began to tell me, "There's only one way I don't have to attend."

"What's that like," I hear, niggling and laughing,

"It's easy. All you have to do is go to the Blacksmith Guild banquet every day. Exactly because the Dukes are trying to take in a blacksmith's guild, but they don't do anything to offend the blacksmiths."

I wanted to get on with the idea, and I said, "You're absolutely right." Then the Viscount panicked,

"That's a joke. If you do that, your palace will be in trouble. Neither do I."

As a Viscount, he thought I would be distant because I have so much strength to go out to the Dwarf banquet every day.

As far as I'm concerned, drinking with the careless dwarves is a thousand times more fun than worrying about at an advanced noble dinner party. If you don't even forget the magic of detoxification, the extent to which you will have some sleep loss will not be bitter at all.

Return to the Seawell Marquis Mansion around 2 p.m.

I get a reassuring look at Liddy and the others welcoming him with a worried face, but to some extent you realize from our lack of grief.

When we walked into our room, "You were okay," Liddy asked on behalf of.

"Oh, I can handle it. Including your father, we will not remain in the Empire, nor will we be punished. I got the most troublesome homework."

"Homework? Did they blow your mind?" Beatrice asked.

"No, I'm just asking you to think about the process after the Imperial Army beat Lukes by the time you leave the Imperial Capital. Of course, they don't employ the measures we have in mind, but they want to hear it for reference."

My words leak a breath of relief from the four of us. Sharon in particular was in tears saying, "Good......"

towards that girlfriend,

"That's why I'm going to ask Sharon to think with me. In fact, the Chancellor knows about Sharon."

I hear the prime minister knew about me, and I'm stunned for a moment, but soon he switches his expression.

"Yes. Say whatever you want with me!

It was a rare, temperamental voice for her.

"Do you have plans for the future?" Mel asked.

"I'm leaving here at about 5: 00 p.m. for the Southern District Blacksmith Guild, but until then, it's free time. Well, I only have an hour and a half to train."

"Would you like to take a little walk around here? When I asked the Marquis, he said there would be no problem if he didn't leave the aristocracy."

Seems like you've been suggesting this because you think me and Sharon are depressed.

"Right. They say the aristocratic city is safe, and the weather is nice. Do you want to kill some time?"

"Master Primrose told me that a branch of the Robbins Chamber of Commerce is nearby. There's a park nearby, and they say it's just the right place to relax."

"I'm not interested in sweet things, but I was just tired of being in the mansion. I'm coming with you."

That's what Beatrice said as she turned her shoulder.

I'm glad they were free to go out in the morning, but they weren't willing to take a relaxing stroll when I was negotiating with the Chancellor.

"Fine. Let's all go. Sharon, give Luna a call. Mel will ask Theo and the others. Zach, you need to get dressed. Because I don't feel like going in that outfit."

Liddy gives instructions.

By the way, what I'm wearing is something close to an imperial knight's garment based on blue, something worthy of the aristocracy, but I guess I'm telling you to come change into black because I don't like it.

I'm not opposed to the usual clothes because they're easier for me, either.

About enough Luna and the others came together.

Liddy and Beatrice are men's attire as usual, Mel and Sharon are simple pieces, but they weave their coats of snow wolves to make them worthy of the aristocratic city.

Dan also tried to invite him, but he was with Viscount Radford Victoria to the Imperial Academy of Higher Studies and is not in the Mansion. She went face-to-face to disguise her engagement with the Viscount's maid Felicia.

Theo and Serra are wearing knightly clothing inspired. They also have the same length of hair, which looks so much alike that you can't tell it apart from your family.

I did what Victoria suggested as a way to protect both of us.

Luna is in a green piece as simple as Mel or Sharon, called a coat. I see a coat of pure white snow wolf fur on my dark hair, enough to look like a fairy or something.

Ask the servants of the Seawell family to guide you and leave the mansion, but surprisingly there are many people. Even if it's a lot, I can barely see him as a merchant or servant and noble.

Ask the guide,

"It's a lot of time for people to prepare dinner now. The aristocrats around here use carriages. Many people are walking in the outermost neighborhoods a little more..."

The aristocratic district is inhabited by senior aristocrats close to the palace, and the more you go outside, the lower the title.

The Knight Sir Class, who lives in the outermost outline, does not live in a mansion with a garden, but in a four-story collective home. For that reason, they say it's normal to travel on foot.

Most importantly, the neighborhood has ride-along carriages patrolling constantly, and carriages can be used during long distances.

The branch of the Robbins Chamber of Commerce is on the south side from the Seawell family mansion and is a short walk away enough to get there. He said he was making quite a bit of money and had heard that he was also putting out a few houses in the aristocratic district.

A pastel-colored store emerges in a calm, laid-back aristocratic neighborhood. The shop itself is a relatively small shop with a glass showcase lined with gelato and about ten table seats.

(That doesn't suit this city... I thought it was just one store when I suggested it. I didn't know we were going to get this far......)

Before 3pm there were about five women who looked like noble maids or about twenties in classic maid clothes in blue whether they were maids on break.

"Welcome" is greeted by the voice of a female clerk.

It was a group of as many as nine, and they immediately started describing the products, whether they thought they were tourists who had just arrived in the Empire City.

"Today's recommendation is an orange flavour with candied lemon skin (peel). Milk is our most popular..."

Liddy and the others are surprised by the flowing explanation, but I'm not surprised because this is also what I wrote in the Customer Service Manual.

Ask for what each one likes.

Gelato himself, he sometimes puts out what I make in the village, but we're all intrigued because there's not as much variation here.

I asked for a simple milk one and was watching Luna. She was joyfully talking to herself as she peeked into the showcase.

"Let's make it milk...... oh, some of it looks like cookies and cream. But it's a regular cookie... it looks like a lamb raisin, and the nut's... which one should I..."

"Which is Luna going to do? I'm thinking of making it orange.

Serra speaks up.

The two seem surprisingly close, seeing each other many times.

"With the nuts in it and let's make it taste like honey...... eh is it ok to double"

Apparently they make it a double, not a single.

"It's okay. So that's a double with nuts and honey flavor. It will be two kronas."

Double gelato makes two kronas as well. The Japanese yen is about 2,000 yen, but they can still sell it.

(I bought the method for 10,000 kronas, but you seem to have recovered it quickly. And I employ most of what I said...)

When they all received Gelato, they went straight outside.

This gelato is a hard-type waffle with corn and can walk while eating.

Corn also thought I would try to make a crisp wafer-type one, but I didn't know how to make it in detail so it hasn't materialized. I guess there's nothing you can't make if you're as passionate about it as you are about booze.

Other than me and my brother, it's a pretty gorgeous bunch of women.

As a result, I often feel the gaze of people walking.

Among the most secure aristocratic neighborhoods, a district inhabited by senior aristocrats, did not feel an indifferent gaze.

The park nearby is a small one with a fountain in the centre, but it was equipped with trails and flower beds for walking, which made the senior aristocrats feel just right for a stroll.

Sit on the bench where it is placed and eat gelato.

"Isn't it pretty good," praises Beatrice, who doesn't usually eat much sweet food.

The Mels were also laughing with pleasure at their first situation of eating gelato in the park.

Luna was with Serra talking about the flavor of Gelato.

"Is the honey flavor not good? It tastes better with nuts, but I guess I would have liked this with chocolate."

"Chocolate is a treat made by Brother Zach. Can that be gelato, too?

"You should be able to. I think that's what Zach said..."

I felt more raptured than usual about whether I liked ice cream in the previous world as well.

"Do you want to make chocolate gelato too? Does Luna know how to make chocolate gelato?

"I don't know the details... maybe I can..."

Luna replies unconfidentially, "That's amazing! Hey, hey, make it next time," Serra shakes.

"Well, shall we rent the Marquis' kitchen and make it? Or would you prefer the kitchen at the Robbins Chamber of Commerce? I'd be glad to see you next time."

"Yes...... I look forward to it too"

As far as I'm concerned, I'm going to do whatever I can to open Luna's heart. Since confectionery making seemed to be a job or a hobby, an active approach from that aspect would open her mind too.

(Afterwards about this world and how to fight it. Now it's important to win trust. No rush......)

With that in mind, I was roaming a little sweet waffle corn.
