Dream Life

Episode Thirty: Dan's Determination

March 25th.

Mel was in front of me wearing a pure white dress. There are tears in those eyes, but that is not a tear of sorrow. It's a tear that made me happy.

I've known for a long time that this time would come. Yes, from the time I got my mind on it.

When did you find out Mel loved Master Zach? Whether you are undergoing the rigorous training of your predecessors or Lydia's classes... I can't remember the area clearly.

Mel turned twenty and got really clean. I used to have big eyes and blushes but I had a young impression, but now my blushes are gone and my well moving eyes calm down like an adult woman.

I know she only thinks of me as just childhood taming, and I don't want anything more to do with it myself. If you mean it, you might want it, but if that really happened, because it was after she felt sad.

"Congratulations, Mel. And Sharon."

I noticed my sister was lying down, and I added aggressively. My sister seemed to know and my cries made me red. My eyes are laughing just a little.

"Thanks, Dan..."

Mel glanced down and said that to me, he took a step closer and held me gently.

"You can't, if the bride hugs another man," teases him at his usual rate.

"It's okay. Because Master Zach would understand."

"Right......" then put her hand on her shoulder and let go of her body by saying "Congratulations" again.

I really wanted to feel her more. But if I'm feeling her temperature any more, I'm dull. Because I thought so.

Master Zach came to me. [M]

"Dear Zach, Regards Mel and my sister"

When I say that, Master Zach says, "Oh, I'll take care of it" and taps my shoulder gently like a pump.

He slowly followed the scene because soon others came to bless him.

When the wedding ceremony began, for some reason, a jock was held in my hand. Looking to the side, it looks like there's a Dwarf blacksmith from Ars, and one of them, Mr. Johann, gave it to me without saying anything. Mr. Johann is one of the people who has struck my sword and often drinks with me here and in Ars.

There was plenty of Mr. Johann's prized beer in the jock.

"Drink," I said and raised my jock.

I rush to fit the jocks, too. Then the blacksmiths who were around raised the jock at the same time,

"Here's to Zach and Mel and Sharon! Sieg Scotch!

When Mr. Johann shouted in a bronze voice, all the Dwarves also said, "" Sieg Scotch!, "he chants, jocking all at once.

I panicked and said, "Sieg Scotch!," he exclaimed, keeping his mouth shut on the jock.

The bitterness of lager beer spreads to the mouth. I usually feel a little more refreshed, but I was concerned about all the bitterness today for some reason.

The blacksmiths vanished in an instant. I guess I went to change the beer.

As expected, the blacksmiths with jocks filled with beer showed up. And now Mr. Wood, who made my armor, lifted the jock.

"Cheers to Dan, too! Sieg Scotch!

"" Sieg Scotch!

You all seem to have come to encourage me because you think I'm depressed.

That means you'll be drunk and crushed after this. But I thought that would be okay today.

The night is getting late.

The blacksmiths' feast takes place thoroughly at night as usual. I was sitting in front of a big bonfire together to get along with it.

Normally, there's Master Zach, but today is the first night of his newlyweds, which means he's pulling up after sundown. Instead, Mr. Lydia and Mr. Beatrice dated me.

We both drink with all the Dwarves without saying anything in particular. It's just fine because it makes me sad when I'm distracted. Maybe both of you. And all the Dwarves know that.

Mr. Lydia hung the magic of detoxification several times that night, but I knew I was drunk. And I got hung over.

Soon Mr. Lydia and the others were gone. Instead, Mr. Elena is sitting right beside him.

"Good morning," he greets with a head that does not turn.

"Good morning," he responded with a smile.

I somehow know that Mr. Elena cares about me. Because he's slender and tall and has a classy feel to it, I might have liked it if it wasn't for Mel.

After that, we sat in front of the burning fire together, without any particular conversation. If it's true, we both have morning training, but Mr. Beatrice tells me to rest because I knew I could get drunk. Maybe Elena has something to say to Lydia or Beatrice too, and she's here.

"What are you doing at dusk!" Mr. Georg offered a jock with beer in front of him.

"I still have something to do today..." I tried to say no.

"I have permission for Lord Govan and Matt. Go out with Nona today."

The blacksmiths of Ars are leaving tomorrow morning for the town of Bogwood. I would have to leave today, but I need time to keep moving until the alcohol runs out and for Alliance officials and merchants to clean it up, so I'll drink here until noon and then re-drink it at the training center.

"Until tomorrow!" I raised my voice unexpectedly.

But soon I realized it was the care of Mr. Lydia and I said, "Okay," and I received the jock.

I didn't feel like drinking too much with the hangover, but soon Mr. Lydia showed up.

"I'm sorry I'm late. I'll hang the magic of detoxification soon."

They came all the way here to hang the magic.

The magic made it a little easier, but the annoyance around my stomach stays and I don't accept the kind of cottery that Dwarves eat, the sausage or the seared bacon.

"Here you go," Elena said, giving me a porridge (polydge) with milk and a tender simmer of wheat.

I say "thank you" and receive it and eat it creaking with a spoon. It was more like a dessert than a polidge with a slightly sweet flavor.

"Delicious?" Elena asked, "It's delicious."

It's a conversation without other love, but it was very comforting to me right now.

I ended up staying at the training institute that day and didn't go home. Elena left after lunch, but Lydia and Beatrice hung out with me until the end.

The next day, suffering from a hangover for two consecutive days, he headed to the Kanga Hill training ground. I wanted to sweat, but I put up with it to get sweaty in training anyway.

Mel was also here to attend the training ground. There's nothing that's going to change with what I always look like, but Mel looked different.

As usual training, but I just can't move at all from two days in a row and attending all your Dwarves banquets.

Many times my predecessors and Mr. Walt scold me, but I can't help it all.

After the morning training, Master Zach spoke up. Mel and Sharon are with us.

"Looks like they've been drinking a lot, all right?

He seemed worried when he heard that the blacksmiths kept drinking him.

"I just wanted to say it's okay, but I feel like going to bed slowly now. I'd like to sweat before I do."

"The shower away is ready for use. Sleep tight until Ulrich and the others get home around noon."

Say so and tap my arm gently. [M]

I haven't talked to Mel yet, but I really can't see her face. I think someone asked me if I needed time at a time like this, but I really do.

After showering and refreshing, I went back to my parents' house.

Dad had already finished breakfast and was preparing for today's reconnaissance.

He asked me, "Don't be able to take command of the reconnaissance tomorrow," so I said, "It's okay," and my father didn't have to look at me.

"Okay. Just go to sleep now."

I only answered "OK" and headed to my room.

As soon as I enter the room, I fall into bed.

I thought the sleeper would attack me right away due to lack of sleep and tired drinking, but a lot of things come to mind and I don't sleep inside.

Staring at the ceiling, I was blurry and thinking about what lay ahead.

What should I do next? [M] As always, can I stay with Master Zach or Mel?

What should I do if Master Zach says I'm leaving the village? [M] Should I follow you, or stay in the village?

I'm a Jakes man. That's not why it's decided I have to carry on the trail.

Because I'm the only boy, but my father once said that my sister Eunice also had the option of taking a son-in-law.

So far, I don't think Master Zach is likely to leave this village. Because this village is the perfect place to protect Mr. Luna. This is definitely because Master Zach himself said it.

It's just that the enemy is what the gods fear.

I don't know what happens. What choice should I make then? [M]

Such an idea turns glum.

I feel something somehow.

That means that Master Zach may leave this village in the near future.

It's not clear why, but if Mr. Luna is going to fight the enemies of the gods, then Master Zach should definitely help. When that happens, I think I'm going to leave this village I love undamaged.

What should I do when that happens? [M] I've been thinking about it many times for a long time, but I haven't come to a conclusion.

I'm over twenty, too.

I have a great responsibility to the Lockhart family. Even if you don't inherit the Jakes family.

Suddenly, I remembered what Master Zach told me.

'Growing up means taking responsibility. If you put off your unpleasant conclusions and live in a daze, that moment would be very easy. But I'll regret that one day. So don't regret postponing your decision. I can tell you this because I'm experienced. "

I made up my mind.

As soon as I made up my mind, a sleeper suddenly attacked me.

My mother woke me up after about three hours of sleep. I wake up before my mother comes in because I wake up at the signs of people because of more behavior in the woods.

"It's time for Mr. Ulrich and the others to leave."

I say thank you and get dressed quickly. [M]

When I went outside, I saw a blacksmith guild carriage coming towards Kanga Hill. When you look at the castle, your palace, your predecessors and Zach come down the hill.

Looks like I'll drop you off downstairs to save you the hassle of going up the hill in the carriage.

Join Master Zach and go down the hill with him. I didn't say anything in particular, but Master Zach seems to have noticed my change.

"You look neat. Are you organized?"

But you seem a little mistaken. Because I was worried about Mel, and it sounded like a nuance as to whether it was organized. [M]

"Yeah, I'm organized. Can you give us some time later?"

"Oh, I don't mind. Just the two of us."

That's what I've heard in a whisper. I shook my head (wearing it) and said, "I'd like to talk to six of you if I could."

After I dropped off Mr. Ulrich and the others, I went away where Master Zach and the others lived.

Mel, Sharon, Lydia and Beatrice also get together and Sharon makes tea.

I started talking slowly as I finished handing out cups to everyone.

"I will inherit the Jakes family. So if Master Zach were to leave the village, I wouldn't follow him."

Was it an unexpected word, Mr. Lydia tried to speak up. But Master Zach took control of it with one hand up, and he shrugged, "Well..."

"Is it because of me? I can't do what I've always done," Mel complained.

"It's not Mel's fault. It's something I've been thinking about for a long time. I love Mel, Master Zach and everyone else. But I'm also one of the Lockhart family ministers. It's also a responsible position as a martial officer for territorial security."

"But..." Mel tried to say something, but Master Zach said, "OK,"

"So you're prioritizing the work of the Jakes family in the future. Well, as long as Guy doesn't even hide out, that means he's not much different than he's ever been. Besides, I don't think we're leaving the village at the moment."

"Yes. Basically, it's the way it's always been. Of course, if your palace commands me, I will follow you, Master Zach."

"That's what I'm talking about," you said, coming beside me and saying, "You've made a good decision," and pounding my shoulder.

It hasn't changed since I was a kid, it's like a signal when you praise me.

I then told my parents the same thing. My father nodded, "Well," and said nothing more. My mother was a little different.

"Well, we have to find someone to marry."

My mother wasn't making fun of me. Those eyes were serious, and I lost the word to return them.

"Because I need to think about the“ third generation ”of the Jakes family. You go into a lot of dangerous woods. Apart from Master Zach and Mr. Lydia, who were together until now. So think seriously."

Sure it is, but there's nothing you can say at this time.

"Think seriously about Mr. Elena. He keeps waiting for you. You know how spicy it is to wait. So think about it."

I could only snort at her words. [M]
