Episode XIX: The Battle at Sea

November 8.

It passed the southern edge of the Sole Peninsula, where the Holy King Luke's kingdom is located, and entered the southern sea, the Austrelian Sea.

Unlike the Vest Sea until then, it is relatively calm and well under westerly winds.

The colour of the sea also turned into a beautiful clear blue, which, despite being in November, was in the sun reminiscent of summer.

From above the mast, you can see all the decks of enemy ships.

The distance had shrunk to about fifty meters and the Liddies had launched an attack.

The enemy ship that has lost control of the rudder turns to the windward side.

I look at the rear deck in a hurry, but although Sharon and Mr. Kitley are down, three people are helping, Liddy, Beatrice and Mel, and it doesn't look like there's a problem.

Behind it, the two ships that had been chasing collided, and I could see the sail falling from the mast. One of them had smoke rising and the sailors were in a great hurry to separate the two ships.

I could already see the sailors flying away with their weapons from the private looters. I also thought about sniping from the spot, but found it difficult to identify enemy allies and decided to go downstairs.

Fighting has already begun on the bow (Foxl) between the Sailors of the Selby and the Private Looters, and anger is flying.

But the enemy's momentum was that far.

Captain Duncan gently swung his sabel to tear his enemies apart, and the deck captains (Bosun) fought back by swinging the cutlass in a luxurious manner.

There was a figure of Beatrice and Mel in their center.

"Push out the enemy ship!" The voice of the deck leader sounds, pushing out an enemy ship tangled around the bow with a long stick. By that time it can be seen that the water intake of the enemy ships is deeper and slowly sinking.

I went to the stern building and said, "What about the ship in the rear?," asked Liddy,

"It's still stopping. Smoke is diminishing, so it didn't seem like a fire. But it's windy and far away."

Two large ships stop alongside the sea lit by the dawn. The distance is over five hundred meters away and I'm not sure what the situation is. However, there was no indication that the sail on the mast would stay saggy and drool out.

The ship that has hit me sinks in so much that the waves wash the deck, spraying water with the air out of the hatch. Private sailors had already jumped into the sea and were desperately trying to get away from being caught in the sinking of the ship.

Ramsey's voice sounds, "That's not helpful," but there's no sympathy in that voice.

The uninjured sailors were working on repairing the damaged ship. He seems busy fixing tangled socks and adjusting the angle of the sail.

They are put to sleep on the deck, a dozen of them. The sailor's already started treating us, but we're going to help.

There were six people who were seriously wounded dying and would have died as they should have, but because they are holding their lives back with the healing magic of me and Liddy.

Captain Duncan came as he was finishing treating the injured and sweeping the blood back.
