Drop!! ~A Tale of the Fragrance Princess~ (WN)

Act Six Encounter of the Lady of the Ninja Warrant

The following afternoon, Cordelia lowered the "experimental" wooden plaque to the entrance and exit of the greenhouse and sneaked out with Ronnie to the city. The Cordelia costume, prepared by Ronnie, was a magician's robe, and Cordelia was softly hooded. Platinum blonde hair is not common in city daughters. It's scarcer to the red eye. So if you look at that combination of hair and eyes, everyone will know you're noble. Afraid of it, Ronnie chose a robe to hide the costume for Cordelia as much as possible. As for Cordelia, the City Daughter's clothes were better, but for that reason, I just have to convince her. Because the purpose is not to disguise the city daughter, but the glass that magic passes.

Ronnie showed me around the corner of two streets off Central Avenue. The public streets are sparse and sometimes interrupted. But the noise of various craftsmen working, it was like that workshop street.

Ronnie said, "I don't even have a lot of store numbers on the table around here because it's all order production." "It's this way," said Ronnie, standing in front of a shop like a blacksmith, pulling the door and letting Cordelia inside. When you step in, you see a lot of apparatus in the store being placed in a mess.

And the next thing I can see - it was one guy at the counter with a bottle of booze.

"There you are. - So, Ronnie, I wonder what a guest you are. It's not money. It's him."

"Terrible, Master."

"We're closed for the day. I was just having a nice drink after the delivery to the castle."

But with that said, "Well, I'll deal with him because I'm free," the master, slightly saying, was playing with Ronnie no matter what he looked like. Ronnie, meanwhile, whispered to Cordelia with a heart-tired look as opposed to the master: "Dear Cordelia, this is the master of this store," she introduced.

"What, you got kids today? - When did you get married?"

"I didn't and it's not my kid. Besides, this kid's eight, so I'm going to have a kid when I was eleven when the master was right. I'm not the customer of the day in the first place, I'm this girl."

"Oh, come on, I don't have an introductory set of magic kids here."

"Not required. What I want today is a sealed glass container that can penetrate this child's magic."

Ronnie tries to speak pale so he can't get on the pace of his somewhat intoxicated master, but still cared a little more about Cordelia. Cordelia speculates that he cares too because there is no talking among the nobles. - But I wouldn't put Ronnie aside in the first place if it was a cordelia that cared about that, and I didn't ask you to bring her here in the first place.

But the master hasn't seen Ronnie like that.

Instead, he looked at Cordelia funny, "You want a lot of maniacal stuff," he said. And I took one crystal ball out of the cupboard that was behind him.

"Lady, look here with magic. Just like you always use magic."

"Like this, is it?

The color of the crystal changed when Cordelia put her hands together and she could use her powers in the procedure of using magic on the grasshoppers. The transparent stone contained a white vortex, and some light of various colors could be bounced.

"OK. Now I know the magic attribute.... This is unusual magic."

"... can you?

Ronnie asks against the slightly surprised master. The master drank the contents of the bottle all at once.

"Sorry, but you can't give it to me right away. I can't do it if it's an existing product. I've never thought of anyone with such magic in my mind. I didn't think of it because I'd never seen it before. To the light attribute...... what is this, the darkness mixed too? Contains soil and water... Wow, that's a nasty magic trick. Where is this kid?

"Well, well, leave that alone. Is it hard to make custom-made? Even the master?"

"What? Are you kidding me? Who do you think I am? I can make it for you. It's as easy for me as it is for any magic to create a hole through which magic can pass."

Don To the master who put the bottle on the counter all the time, Ronnie is delighted that the provocation is all about success.

But beside it Cordelia turned blue.

Bespoke!! It won't be an unpaid amount, but what if even bespoke magic doesn't penetrate? I don't know how many I can buy. Will it be a buyout even if I can't use it?

But to Cordelia like that, Ronnie said, "It's okay, ma'am. It's this master's creed that only gives them what they're comfortable with, so it's better to be bespoke," he eared.

"You're a pro."

"You're a good master, aren't you?

"What the fuck are you talking about, you guys! So... Ronnie! You help me."

I was pointed at a bottle that had been emptied and Ronnie said, "Am I!? Why!?" he flew up.

"I make adjustments to magic I've never done before. It takes creativity. I mean, I can't help but be alone and quiet. So hang out with the people you talk to."

"Ha.... you know, don't you concentrate on making professional work, usually"

"You thought I was normal. Congratulations to the magician."

Say no. No. He pulled into the back.

"Oh, master. Can I take this kid?

"Well it's not even funny...... but maybe even a magician's kid is funny. That's good."

Cordelia followed Ronnie into the back of the store because she was left rather than being guided...

It seemed to be a deep shop, and a workshop existed behind it, which sandwiched one warehouse-like room.

There was one woman, a craftsman. And she looked at the master and she said, "Well, didn't you come up today?," he tilted his neck.

"I'm sorry, I'm a visitor. What were you going to do?"

"I'm going to build a test tube for the stock now... should I clean it up?

"No, it's more convenient. I'll use the glass too. Give me the place. The examiner is good tomorrow. You go up today, too."

"Huh? Yeah, fine. Well, excuse me."

That said, the master took possession of the place where she was.

First, you stick something like a wizard's old lady uses in the story, like a hiccup in a red cauldron inside. And the next moment I wonder if I pulled it out, a liquid of red heated glass is flushed onto the table.

"You guys should see what I do, right?

Say no or the master put his hand over the liquid in the glass. Then he changes shape as if he were alive. When you realize it, you form a stunning cube shape.

"Wow..."

Wow, it was the craftsman's words that blocked the words I tried to go on.

"That's not good. I'm sorry, but could you please take your seat off?"

"Huh?"

"My magic is pulled by your daughter's magic and it doesn't pass to the glass well. Your daughter's magic is too strong."

A master with a serious and slightly strange look like never before, but look at that face and Ronnie says it looks funny.

"I've been looking at it. You're the master? I've never been pulled by the magic of a lady, have I?

"Yami? You don't do delicate magic tricks, so I guess you just don't get it."

"... so I'm at the store."

Cordelia turned to the store without waiting for a response, wondering if Ronnie and the master were really close or not, and I guess we should not think about that anymore. I wanted to watch it, but if it gets in my way, I can't help it.

"Oh, lady, please don't leave the store. I don't like splitting my neck and torso."

"Yeah, I know."

Cordelia answered without stopping behaving badly at the voice that hung from behind, closing the door.

Through the warehouse, a chillin 'chillin' and an inlet bell rang as I left the store. Is it a customer? Should I have called the master, I thought so, but the thought was quickly dispelled.

"Grandpa Shizuru... and, uh, Dili, huh?

"... Huh?

"Hey, what are you doing?

What a verno it was that showed up there.

Not the last time I saw it, it was brown hair and tea eyes. But the face is definitely Vernault itself.

He's basically wearing a hood deep. Look at Cordelia. There can't be anybody but Vernault to call him "dilly". Different colors are probably the magic of the Frantheim family or something. The quality of the enchantment is the same, but the wavelength is usually slightly different.

"Good day, Master Vernault. What are you doing in a place like this?

"Thanks for your patience. That's a long social tour.... and you're not surprised? It's a different color, isn't it?

"I'm surprised.... how you are used to it."

Yes, Cordelia conveyed her honest thoughts on his emergence to this place, which she could not have been quite used to. I suppose we should be surprised to say that we would show up in this place, but if we were to say that, we'd be like each other.

Vernault looked around the store and laughed after making sure there was no master.

"It's important, isn't it? You don't know the world you can't see caged in a mansion. I always struggle to wind up our escort."

"... It seems like a lot of fun, and I know it's especially true, but I don't weigh in a bit. It's not dangerous for you to walk alone."

Cordelia shrugged her shoulders to Vernault, who apparently was more of a mess than expected. I told Ronnie what I couldn't do, but I thought the escort was in trouble.

But it seems that the words alone were enough to dissatisfy Vernor.

"I thought you were like a man, but you're like a mother. Fine. And I'm not alone. There's a twat."

"Would you prefer to take me?

With that said, Vernault called out to the boy who was staring at the product by cancer right in front of the left hand cupboard as soon as he entered the store. He had corned tea hair and eyes similar to Vernault today. I could just have expected that magic wavelength to be slightly closer to Vernault and perhaps have him do some magic.

"He's the one with him. Erm...... his name is Jill"

"... I don't think you'll forget the name of the person you're with."

"I don't think so. It's just that there are a lot of things going on here."

"Jill, this is Dili," Vernault briefly introduced, saying so. Well, I guess that means you don't need to name your real name. And Vernault's eyes said not to look for this one, so don't look for that one either.

"Nice to meet you."

"... nice to meet you"

The boy called Jill to Cordelia's words jammed his voice slightly.

Are you a little familiar with people? But as it is, a subtle silence is created. Unsurprisingly, Vernault sent out a helpship to Cordelia, who was unsure whether to continue the words or not.

"What's Dili doing here?

"Huh? Yeah, I wanted glassware, so I came to ask to create it."

"Hmm. You look like a man after all"

Unlike Jill, who doesn't say anything, Vernault, as usual, said that, but Jill cautioned against the words, "It's rude." Jill and I are gentlemen boys......! Cordelia was moved by the difference with Vernault but noticed how she spoke to Vernault equally. I guess we're close because we're as impatient together, but maybe we're pretty high on that status, too.

"What kind of tools do you two have here?"

For what?

Cordelia's words, which she tried to continue to do so, were blocked by the unclear screams she heard from outside the store.

"... a scream of a child?

The voice didn't seem to be a mistake in Cordelia's hearing, and Vernault gently moves his body near the door. And I gently opened the door just a little bit and asked what was going on outside. Then the voice, which was unclear, was clearly heard.

"Please don't, flowers, turn back!

"This is my spot, my lady. Look,"

Such, children's voices and adult voices.

"That's..."

"... there's a new one coming up again"

"You know what?

Cordelia asked Vernault, leaving the door slightly open, but his body did not let him out.

Vernor released his body from the door and answered towards Cordelia.

"Oh. The King's Capital gathers all sorts of students, so the mistaken one occasionally makes that kind of noise. He's an idiot trying to brag about his powers to a kid's florist."

"... there's me in the back. I'll bring you to the rescue."

"No, it doesn't extend to that. Because you can suppress it with my magic - Ugh!?

Vernault, who was supposed to talk about nothing, uttered a voice that was so astonishing that he could not push him to death even though he had lost his voice at the end. He seemed to notice something and rushed to put his body on the door again.

"... Speaking of which, what about Master Jill?

"Would you stop?"

Was Cordelia quick to squeal the words pompous, or did that Jill clear voice arrive fast? No, the earliest thing that would have happened would have been Vernault checking on Jill.

As soon as Cordelia heard the voice, she looked outside the store sticking to the door alongside Vernault.

Then I see Jill standing in front of a man dressed as a grand bandit who should have been with me. Girl around the same age by the side.

"Hey, Master Vernault"

"He... he's leaving on his own... then my magic will involve him to Jill."

Vernault shrugged with a bitter worm-bitten look. Besides, what are you thinking about going from the front - Cordelia realized two things as she looked at the look on her squeaking face like that. The first was that Vernault was about to come out with his actions. The magic of suppression could no longer be activated. And the other thing is, "... you're an unfamiliar nobleman."

"Oh. This is the first day he's had any patience.... you can use magic at the place?

"Huh? Yeah."

Hearing Jill and Gorotsky arguing about something, Vernor kept his eyes open and suddenly shifted the subject with Cordelia. I wonder what all of a sudden, how Cordelia looked like I thought so, etc. He didn't even care and went on with the words.

"Then use the same thing as your brother did, and stop me."

"... I've never seen your brother's magic before."

"Grow grasshoppers so rapidly that they tangle with each other.... flowers in that girl's cage, you'll see them too. I'll take care of the rest if you stop me."

If I can imagine my brother's witchcraft, which I hear in a huge mess of explanations, I can't do it at all. Grow flowers rapidly? It doesn't look good until it's some kind of flower, but the flowers in the basket seem to be a small bouquet. In other words, stretching doesn't necessarily grow flowers enough to involve people.

(Forced to draw the power of the plant itself, not growth, for example...... amplification, so to speak? Close to the magic preservation formula I'm putting on with drying when I get dry herbs......? Use that in conjunction with growth......? But growth and dryness are the opposite procedure...... Oh, I don't know anymore!

But it seems urgent outside. Jill is flirting with Gorotsuki's fist, which will be swung down, but he is round hips. Cordelia knows it's not good as it is. Because there's only one reply I can give.

"Wow, I get it"

I don't know. I couldn't say.

I've never used such remotely operated sorcery before. Moreover, it has become a difficult growth magic.

I wonder how the brothers use such sorcery? While imagining, Cordelia builds her magic power with both hands. While doing so, I peered more at the target Gorotsuki through the gap in the door.

(No, I can't get the magic out of a small gap. If I don't go outside, but how do I fly the magic in my hand...?

Clutter is an enemy when manipulating witchcraft. But even if you know it, don't think about it. It's not something you can do. No, I can see the magic shaking myself. But in the aftermath, behind Cordelia's eyes, a different view emerged. Suddenly my vision became covered with red stained glass, and everywhere its glass was torn. Cordelia understood the moment she saw that space as if a gap was being made.

(Hole through which magic passes - the master said)

The magic hole present on the air, the remotely operated hint may be like this torn glass.

Cordelia, who thought so, decided to pour magic into that gap, yes, to thread the needle, if you like.

In that moment of determination, Cordelia opened the door with her shoulders. Gorotsuki surprised by the loud bell noise, and almost at the same time Jill turns around. Cordelia's unleashed magic arrived in the girl's flower basket. The grass grew rapidly and quickly tangled the man's legs. At the same time, the stained glass world disappeared from Cordelia's view.

"Yay."

"Okay, fine."

As soon as Cordelia screamed, Vernault, who was still in the store, whimpered something small and turned his hand toward the relaxer. The next moment intense light hit Gorotsuki, and Gorotsuki fell.

(Stangan's procedure...... I guess. Did you ask me to hold back just in case Jill or the girl wouldn't hit you with an array)

But that gorotsuki isn't dead either, is he, Cordelia who thought so, but he doesn't have the courage to get close.

And now, because I was told to stay in the store, I can't keep staying outside. That's why I hurried into the store. Instead Vernault stepped outside and blew his finger whistle "Puy" all the way.

Then a figure appeared from nowhere who seemed to have a thin shadow, and retrieved Gorotsuki and left. Apparently, Vernault said he had wrapped his escort around it, but the escort would have caught up with him in time. And Vernor himself fully understood the matter.

So you weren't in a hurry until Jill jumped, Cordelia thought.

Of course, at a stage where Vernault can do something on his own, beyond jumping on his own, he won't even ask his escort for help, even if he knows he's there. I guess I'm not forcibly taking him back because I think Vernault can do something with a sneaky escort in the first place. For if Vernault asks for help, that's hilarious. In fact, he would have been able to afford to deal with Jill a little more had he not acted abruptly.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah... thanks"

"Be careful."

I can hear Jill's conversation freshening up like that from the outside (and the girl looks in love with Jill like that), but Vernor's face is unlimited and as close as Cordelia can confirm. Angry. That's pretty good too. So Cordelia fully understood how Vernault felt when he grabbed the root of Jill back in front of the store and pulled him into the store, and then she could fully predict that he would yell, so she took a step back and held her ear gently.

Though Vernault's voice was not as soft as holding his ear and deafening.

"It's not 'be careful', idiot, what happens if you get hurt...!

"Ouch."

Cordelia slowly took her hands off her own ears when she heard "pain" from the bottom of her heart. And stood half a step behind Vernault, joining him.

"Please don't be as good as it hurts. If you were bad, you wouldn't be alive."

Of course, that won't happen - no, Vernor's escort won't, but that's not the problem.

But I hear you're not happy with Cordelia's words. Jill argued with Cordelia, and Vernault, half-hearted.

"But I wouldn't have let it go"

"Nobody said that."

"That's right, I didn't tell you to leave me alone either. I just want to say that we should draw on the situation. Jumping away is a courageous move, but it would have been helpless. Stupidity and bravery are different."

Yes, Cordelia was embarrassed shortly after breathing. There was no need to jump at all. Instead, Jill himself would not have been in danger if he had acted calmly. Jill seems to have some thoughts, too, but he doesn't feel like accepting them honestly. He shrugged.

"... I didn't do anything wrong," he said.

Cordelia fastened to the words.

"Yeah, I didn't do anything wrong. But I didn't do the best I could."

"De, Dili, already in that position..."

"Master Vernault, please shut up. Master Jill, if you get hurt, some of you will be sad.

Cordelia looked at Jill and said, ignoring Vernor's words. Jill tried to say something in a way that was stuck in the answer for a moment, but in the end it didn't say anything. Cordelia shrugged her shoulders. It wouldn't be the kind of year they'd be forced to say and listen if they were the age they looked like. I can also imagine how old you are when you honestly can't admit it even if you knew.

(... but how do I follow up)

You won't be able to convince them to just scold you. Cordelia thinks it's important to tell her why, but unfortunately, she couldn't immediately think of how to follow up.

Just as Jill claims she's not wrong, so Cordelia's not going to say anything wrong.

With such subtle silence flowing, it was a surprisingly unpleasant voice that broke the equilibrium.

"... Hey, lady. Did I just feel any signs of intense magic release?

"Huh? Oh, yeah. There's nothing wrong with that, Ronnie."

It was Ronnie who opened the back door and spoke to Cordelia a little. Although Ronnie looked a little surprised that both of them had children besides Cordelia, she showed no greater reaction than that.

He just sees Cordelia with a frigid look on his face.... I mean, he didn't convince me of anything.

But I never said I would question Cordelia on the boulder. This may also be because, given his character, it was simply "a pain in the ass to ask," but in any case it was fortunate for Cordelia to say that she could not be asked.

Of course Ronnie didn't forget to hit the nail to avoid any further damage.

"Then lady, please join me in the back.... I honestly don't care what they're doing."

In response, Cordelia felt Ronnie was a "really good magician". Too good to be very curious as to why he doesn't work for the royal castle. But I can't afford to think about that right now. Ronnie tells me you're not leaving the store. The resentful caged gaze hurts too much.

"See you later. Excuse me, sir."

Cordelia stayed in the back workshop as she was desperate and dressed as if nothing was going on, but Cordelia's magic still interrupted the master's refinement and she couldn't finish the product that day after all.

But it seems that Cordelia doesn't need to visit stores more often than it does by reflecting Cordelia's magic ingredients on crystal balls. Cordelia was assured that 'I'll ask you to verify it when it's in the final checking phase, but I don't have any errands until then'.

Cordelia was dismayed to say that there was no reason to leave the city, by the way, but Ronnie was, by the way, a helpful expression.

(... but unfortunately the plan is definitely moving forward)

To the mansion, and back in his own room, Cordelia drew one to hand from a book lined up on her desk.

It's a journal that Cordelia writes about experiments, the uses and types of herbs she remembers, and the information she collects in this world.

"It's been a furious day."

Cordelia shrugged like that and wrote letters all the time.

I want to write before I forget what it feels like to have a successful remote magic today. Run the pen from that thought. I recommended writing the feeling as I wished, which I probably wouldn't be able to read except myself.

And I remembered today again when the separation was made.

"I wonder if I should have said a word to Master Jill then, 'I looked good'"

I don't mean to flatter you. And I still don't think the action Jill took was a complimented one.

But he appeared refreshed, as if he were a prince in a fairy tale, still a good young figure.

If it wasn't a party, but a viewer or flower seller's daughter's position...... I definitely think Jill looked like a little hero. It is now too late to think about it, and it is difficult to say that it will be communicated after putting aside time. Not to mention after you've preached to the behavior.

(I guess I was a little too mean. Maybe it wasn't very popular. Reflections)

You should know that honesty isn't always right.

Cordelia closed her diary with that in mind. And decide one thing. If I ever see him again, I'll find him a good place and tell him he's amazing. When I was so determined towards someone I didn't even know my real name, I started to feel like I could get another chance to look at it with wonder.

"... Lady Jill was a gentleman. So I'm sure you'll be a nicer gentleman next time."

Cordelia was also sheltered by Jill, not as much as a flower girl, but words from Vernault.

I'm sure the little gentleman will definitely grow up to be a cool adult in the future, thinking so made me smile and couldn't even contain the gushing laughter.

(For when that happens, I have to be a decent lady too)

If we ever see each other again, we have to be ourselves as imaginary as he is.

A small determination lighted gently inside the cordelia.
