Drop!! ~A Tale of the Fragrance Princess~ (WN)

Act XXV Season of the Founding Festival (1)

A day before the Founding Festival.

Both Ronnie and Lara are off duty today, so Cordelia and Emina were in the lab together.

"Because of this, I didn't mind Emina taking a vacation, either"

"Thank you for your concern. But I also get a decent rest."

That's what Emina says, but Cordelia thinks you can have fun because it's a festival. Typically, the servants of the Pameladia family are granted special leave during the Founding Festival. My husband doesn't have any abrupt visitors to stay in the castle, so he can afford it overall. Not all day, of course. Not rotation. But it's still well received by the servants concerned about the festival. But Cordelia knew Emina hadn't put in any vacation in this period where she could even get a holiday if she was lucky like this. Not just this year. Not last year, not even last year. Emina never took a vacation in this period.

If you say you don't need it, I can also feel compelled. It's easy to say if you see any reluctance at all, but I don't see that. And to be honest with you, Emina's concern is certainly appreciated. As for Emina, I think she thinks, 'It's when people are low that I stay'. In fact, her presence would be appreciated for Cordelia if there were any unforeseen circumstances. But.

"If Emina says so... but instead, take a break somewhere. Promise?"

"Thank you. By the way, lady, how about some tea?

"Huh? Oh, thank you. Actually, my brother Ishma wrote to me this morning. They want something delivered to the quarters, so I think I'll write back to them first."

Cordelia showed Emina the white envelope she had received as she replied. Then she says, "Okay, I'll bring you a note," and she drops back once. I'm very grateful to have to tell everyone, but if I take this for granted, I'm going to be a lazy lady and I'm scared. We have to make sure it's not too sweet.

But now to put that idea aside, let's start with a letter from my brother. The content was unexpected to Cordelia. Even if I ever write to Ishma from Cordelia in the first place, it is rare for a letter to arrive from my brother. The content of that rare letter was a request to Cordelia. What a junior knight with a water bug under his brother. For a moment I thought even knights would be waterworms, but knights are human too. Sometimes it will. The waterworm knight suffered from a waterworm shortly before returning from a northern mission, but he couldn't say that his leg was itchy. In the first place, he had no assumption that he would suffer from water bugs, and he couldn't get the idea of seeking a doctor.

But in the meantime, he noticed something was wrong with him. And he noticed the cause and told him to go to the infirmary in case he got infected with his surroundings. And he was able to see a doctor safely, too, and now he is applying medication... but unfortunately he has the peculiar ability to be less susceptible to the magic of 'antidemons', which seems to inhibit the use of the medication. Royal palace medicine is an advanced technology that uses magic action, but it is a form of medicine that may contain magic. Naturally people with such expertise are hard to find looking for, so it's going to take a little while to get the right medicine for him. But he continues to suffer from lack of sleep due to itching in his legs, and as for Ishma, he seems to be seeking medication as soon as possible.

So Ishma contacted Cordelia to say, "Ask the magician if there's anything on the anti itching medicine." Medicines that use magic action are also used in Pameladia houses, but are not in the same direction as royal palace medicine, which uses magic itself to heal, mainly because it uses magic that stretches forces of natural origin. So I gave the magic master a piece of paper describing the symptoms that were enclosed, and now I'm in the middle of having the medicine formulated. I'll send that to my brother. But Cordelia knows how to stop itching.

"Why don't I send you some water bug control foot bath oil anyway?"

That's what I say, then I get up and head to the cupboard. And the vial containing the essential oils of Chamomile Roman and Teatry was removed from the cupboard. Then when you return to your desk, take the pen and say on a small piece of paper, "Tension forty to forty-two degrees of water, add two drops of chamomile and three drops of teatries, stir well, then dip your feet for fifteen minutes. Always store the vials in a cool place," he wrote. This should help reduce itching.

"I personally like the fragrance, and I'm glad you like it... only this time it would help if I thought it was a medicine even if I didn't like the fragrance. I think warm water should improve blood circulation."

By the way, I can do the medicine with a combination of essential oils for once, but this time I can do the magic master's medicine, and I thought I'd give it a chance. My magician's medicine is amazing.

"... but yes, I'm sending a letter to your brother, and I want to send you a copy of what you can use."

Cordelia, who shrugged so, now removed a vial of sage and orange essential oil from the cupboard and a small, flat can from the cupboard next to it. Small cans were of the type divided up and down, similar to boxes containing ointments, etc.

Cordelia, back at her desk, first mixed the sage and orange essential oils in one bottle at a time in the same amount. When that's over, now open the lid of a small, flat can. There was barbecued tile in the can. The tiles are white, picturing the shape of flowers.

"Though I also feel a little too cute for your brother... I'm glad you like it"

This is what was called the Aromastone and the previous life.

You can easily enjoy the fragrance by dripping four or five drops of essential oil directly into this tile and drifting the fragrance around it. Cordelia dropped the same amount of essential oil from the two vials onto the stone. This scent invites you to sleep. My brother preferred citrus food, and I think you'll like it. I put a brush on my pillow.

"... I'd like to give it to your father... but let's see how your brother reacts"

If what you have on your pillow seems to bother you in and out of the way, let's not. Cordelia thinks so, but if she can, she wants to like it. Besides, if I don't have to use it in my sleep, I wish I could open the can when I can enjoy it. Naturally, if you want to use it in another situation, you want to remove another scent to the stone.

(... if I could, I'd like to use this for my unveiling)

That is about a night club that takes place in the year when I turn sixteen. As a celebration, a feast is held in the main aristocratic houses when the child is sixteen years of age when he is treated as an adult. Even the Pameladian family, which rarely holds nightclubs, hears that Cordelia is scheduled to open when she turns sixteen on boulders. This is not, of course, a meeting that must be held. But for better or worse, it is a chance to make a strong impression. It's not too soon, such as when a young man who has just grown up can be the star. That's why Cordelia was thinking about measures now.

And I came up with a "souvenir" distribution. I know rumors are already spreading. But even if the soil is made enough, the rumors are not beyond the rumours. That's why I think if you hand out aromatic stones along with a small amount of essential oils, you can easily explain what they're made of. A barbecued tile won't put that much price on it, and I can enjoy the aroma enough. Best of all, it's small and convenient for you to take it home. In addition, I think we should also distribute cosmetic samples.

If it's possible, I'd like to use magic to extend my shelf-life a little... but I'm still in the research stage on that. It's quite a broken bone...... mainly by Ronnie.

"Anyway, the rest is a matter of my strength. Hopefully it will succeed and blend well into the social world...... I won't be able to talk about it if I don't accept my work so far. Besides, the herbs are really nice."

It is true that the study of medicinal herbs began with my interests and the convenience of an untapped field. If you are liked and recognized, it will help you. Because I believed that. But there are aspects that I would like to be purely delighted with, even with the idea of being overwhelmed. I would still be happy if I could share what I like with people. Above all, there's no way I can waste my work with the help of my surroundings, including my father and Ronnie. Emina came back to the lab thinking that Cordelia was thinking a lot.

"Ma'am, I have a note for you"

"Thank you, Emina"

Cordelia writes down the letters when she takes a white note with flower ebonces on it. I'm still not as good at it as I am at it, but I have the confidence to write letters that aren't ugly. While Cordelia was writing it, Emina began preparing tea and sweets.

By the way, today's snack is a scone made of wheat from the village of Kaina. Cordelia, who finished writing the letter, looked sideways at the three types of jam and honey vials that were accompanied.

"I'm sorry, but could you arrange for this to reach your brother by the end of the day? Today would be a good day if it were possible. I'm also asking the magic master for medication, so that's with me."

"Yes, sir."

To my brother, rather than to my brother's colleagues, would be true. If it arrives, it should arrive as soon as possible. With that in mind, Cordelia deposits a set with Emina. She left the room behind when she thanked her.

And think about what's going to happen while you drink tea.

The appointment after the Founding Festival is to visit the King's Capital with Christina, then ask Jill's master. Then I put out a request to create a knife in a workshop that now seems busy, or a meeting with the Ellis Chamber of Commerce... my plans are pretty clogged. If I could speak of greed, I would also like to go to Pameladian territory once at an early age, but can I make time?

"I'd like to stay a little longer if I go to the territory... and I'd like to do a situation check on the school and the crops."

There should be plenty of free time, but you don't have enough time at all.

Cordelia thinks with her mouth full of jammed scones, saying it's a luxury thing. None of this is truncable business. In that it is not something that I have promised people, it is the only business that seems to be able to put a territorial visit behind me. But as a cordelia, that's also something I want to get to as soon as possible. That's more about finding a solution to every single problem than it is about the situation in the realm.

Yes, Cordelia was hitting one wall.

That's a problem with growing herbs.

"There are limits to how much we grow in our greenhouses. If you're thinking about commercializing it, it's better to be able to grow it on vast tracts of land, no matter what you think."

Yes, no matter how big it is, it's the greenhouse in the Mansion of the King's Capital.

It takes a lot of flowers to harvest essential oils, and if you increase the variety, one yield really falls. Then I hope a vast field can be prepared - thanks to the greenhouse, I haven't had trouble improving the soil where the magic resides - and then I need manpower, not just land.

Then Cordelia came up with a diagnosis where the grade of wheat was relatively low or the yield was unstable. Depending on the harvest, if Cordelia buys herbs and stabilizes them at a more aggregate price than they currently do, there will be possibilities for cooperation. Besides, if we can distribute the cosmetics and fragrance oils that we are currently studying in general... that is, if we become mass-produced, we may also be able to brand them as specialties of the land. Naturally, if we were to increase the distribution routes, it would not be possible to set up a workshop because only Cordelia would be building them in time. That should also be a long-term source of income.

If it is possible, I hope the transportation is a good place, but at the same time, I think it is not a bad place for a little inconvenience. Because I think we should help stop the exodus and survive the village by bringing in a source of income where young people are often left in a convenient place. Most importantly, we have to consider whether it will work that well.

"... but in any case, the problem is the funds for it, right? Even if I work hard in the bicycle industry for a while, I need my first year of funding first. In the interests of my deal, I guess it's still not enough."

You won't even be able to ask my father for a loan. There are examples from the village of Kaina. As long as I can make a convincing presentation, my father's cooperation will be said.

(... but you can't. Same as four years ago. Then your father might scare you.)

I don't think it's ever a bad thing to give up the power that you can use. Means are also important, but sometimes it makes no sense if results are not accompanied. Especially if it involves others. Relying on my father is probably the easiest way to do it, given the possibilities. It is not desirable to hesitate to use means to miss the result. I know that well. But sometimes it's different than it was four years ago. Now Cordelia has gained the means to earn a lot of money. If you figure out a few more ways, you might see the way to make money. The business itself is poor, but Ronnie, born of a merchant, might also know the means as knowledge - I think so, Cordelia was hacked.

"Wait, yes, there is."

How could I not have thought of that?

With that in mind, Cordelia began to sort out one possibility in her head. If you want a loan, the Ellis Chamber of Commerce is supposed to be a pretty convenient opponent. We haven't negotiated yet, but Ronnie's rhetoric suggests that the other party wants to get closer if they can find a business opportunity with Pamela.

"... you will use your position, but at worst you won't think that the Ellis Chamber of Commerce will be able to recover the money if my plan fails. Something as predictable as Pameladia doing an ass wipe where I failed. Of course, I'm not going to bother the house."

Whether it's a plan that could make money rather than convince the person...... It will be important to know how we can communicate that. If I can see the purpose, the plan comes to mind one by one.

(... this doesn't hook up either, which makes me lie. All my plans are made because I was born in the Count's house)

If you feel drawn to using that position, that is too much now. I think feeling it is self-satisfying in itself. So Cordelia thinks again.

that what you make pleases people, and also helps them. I don't think gold is the only problem, but sometimes I can't do it without it. As a Pameladian admirer of the people of the Territory, I also want to be responsible for improving everyone's lives. And above all, that it will also be good for the family.

"... Okay, it's neat"

It didn't seem, and Cordelia massaged her hands together gently as she thought to herself. Sometimes I think about my position because I also know my life as a general citizen. I don't think the average citizen in this world and in this life is the same, but sometimes it creates a feeling of confusion about power. Because of this, I think it is a contradictory emotion even though I am singing about my life as a young lady.

I'm a lady now. Even using the original consciousness should not be dragged by the original consciousness.

"... well, why don't we get something a little sweeter for that?"

With that said, Cordelia stood up and put her hands on a different cupboard from the one in which she was putting essential oils together. And I took out one lemon I was putting in a shallow cage. And I cut it in half with my usual sorcery, and stabbed it in the gold skewer.

"Broil and chill for a bit, then eat with honey. This is delicious."

Originally built as a detachment, this room also houses remnants of a simple kitchen, as well as magic tools that can be described as stoves. So while cooking is not so much an exaggeration, there is an opportunity to be free to make one to this extent. Fortunately, I have too much honey on hand for scones today. There is no problem.

That's when I heard knocking on the door.

I thought Emina was back, and Cordelia said, "Go ahead," without stopping her hand from broiling the lemon. The door opened silently. And it was my father, not Emina, who stood.

"Cordelia"

"Father!

Not expecting to have a father, Cordelia rushed to extinguish the stove fire, and when she placed the lemon on the plate, she approached her father. My brother made this appearance the other day, but Cordelia felt that the father and son would be similar so far. "I don't mind taking it easy," Elvis said to his hurrying daughter.

"I'm going to climb the castle now. We'll all be away for a few days, but if you need anything, let Hans through."

"Yes, sir."

Cordelia was convinced that it was because of the push.

I would have trouble when something happened without my father or brother. It is true that there is more to it than no one on weekdays, but it is rare that no one is there for a few days, including at night. When my father is on his way to the territory, probably one of my older brothers will apply for a night out notice and come back home only at night.

But this is not the first time either. Last year, and before that, it was an annual exchange.

And the servants are brilliant, so nothing bothered them. I'm sure Elvis understands that, too, but I guess it still means kindness to push caution. This man is still sweet on his daughter.

But there was only one thing different about my father like that.

"Father, you know..."

"What's up?"

"A little voice."

"Oh, it heals straight"

It is a voice that always makes me feel pressured, but today its voice is a little plundered.

Is it because you are extremely busy? Even my father, who is still working out quite well, sometimes seems to feel ill. But still, I guess I don't really care because I've never been seriously ill.

… but there will always be more busy days to come.

"Father, do you have a moment? We'll get you something good for your throat."

"... you?

"Yes, I was just about to make it."

Elvis did not respond to it, but the answer was to sit back on a chair that was in the near field.

Cordelia sees it and gets ready quickly.

Cool the browned lemon with a little magic. The fruit was then removed with a small fruit knife, served on a plate and mixed with honey. It is the completion of a snack that is too easy.

"Would it suit your mouth?"

"... oh, not bad"

Serve it with a fork and give it to your father and you'll get a boneless compliment back.

Cordelia laughed lightly.

"That was good. If you don't mind, we can bring it to you for you to enjoy at night. Your father's throat is important."

"Oh. Did you even cook?"

………

I did cook it in the sense that I put some hands on it, but I can't cook it. But Elvis says that seriously, so deny it if it's hard. But if I'm serious about cooking, I'm confident I'll cook a little more like a dish with Cordelia. I had never had a knife in my life, but I would have cooked a little more like it in my previous life. If his father is not negative, Elvis stands up when he puts the plate on the table, flattening the pepper and lemon next to Cordelia, who is genuinely worried about cooking to get that recognition again as well.

"It tasted nostalgic. I'm coming."

So briefly, his father left.

nostalgic flavor. Cordelia looked at Emina and asked a few unexpected thoughts.

"Did your father catch a cold a lot back in the day?

"I've never asked you...... from here I hear that some areas in the South have good honey tea. Maybe that's why they've had it."

"I see."

Then it might also taste familiar to Ronnie from the South. I thought I'd behave next time, but now I thought I'd make some minutes to eat with Emina first.

Rarely could Emina assume Cordelia's behavior, Cordelia took the plate out herself because the new plate never came out automatically, but Cordelia laughed small when she noticed that Emina was a little hasty without putting it on her expression.

"Sometimes it's good, right?

But there was no way Emina was convinced, and Lemon was in Emina's hands.

After all, Emina was an excellent samurai who could be relied upon.
