Drop!! ~A Tale of the Fragrance Princess~ (WN)
Act 67 Return to Father Report by Daughter
As the time approached for Elvis to return home, Cordelia checked out the window again and again. I understand that someone will let me know if Elvis returns, even if I don't really care, but if the tension increases, I really care about the outside.
(I shouldn't, I shouldn't. I need to calm down)
Cordelia took a deep breath when this seemed like a far cry from the ideal courtier.
That made my head a little cold... but no, I noticed the next problem because my head was cold.
"First let me say hello to you when you get home... then what should I tell you from...?
I would like to make a report during the training period after I have compiled the materials, but I have not yet finished unloading them, and some of the baggage has not yet arrived in the first place. Elvis, who sent me to that, would again have the opportunity to report when it was convenient.
Then I think it's a fun topic to start with... but I'm also lost in choosing a topic that Elvis will enjoy. Anyway, it's been a long time since I've seen you face to face. Maybe my preferences have changed somewhat.
Lara shrugged her shoulders and laughed small at Cordelia's appearance, which made her get unnecessarily lost.
"Ma'am, can I get you some tea so you can calm down?
"Thank you, but I don't feel like tea."
"Then shall I retie my hair? It might be a little distracting."
"That's fine because you got me in the mood this morning, and it's a waste."
Lara, who was perfectly good at tying cordelia's hair every day thanks to her, said Nilpama's abrupt "Why don't you try this haircut on cordelia today?" I raise my arms enough to meet orders like that. Cordelia nowadays isn't a two-sided half-up from a very young age either, but a hairstyle that has added braids to the half-up.
"So shall I prepare some hot chocolate as well? If the temperature goes up a little bit, it will be a delicious and non-drinkable season."
With that said, Lara left the room lightly in her footsteps.
It didn't mean I wanted something that wasn't tea, but Cordelia laughed bitterly that I didn't even have time to stop.
But I was also reassured just a little by how Lara was doing as usual.
And then about an hour later, Elvis went home.
When Cordelia made her way to the entrance nervously, there was Elvis giving something to Hans that looked the same as before.
But among other things, Elvis soon realized Cordelia had appeared. Apparently Hans also noticed Cordelia in that Elvis look, smiling and stepping back.
Apparently, the two stories were not a rush requirement, and they gave way to order.
"Welcome home, Father"
After Cordelia said that, I noticed much more. I meant to welcome my father home, but would it have been better to tell him I'd come home from my aunt first?
But neither did Elvis, who seemed to have opened his eyes for a moment, show how much he cared.
"... oh"
To just a short reply, Cordelia was just a little relieved.
Thank you. The words I conveyed didn't seem to be a mistake, and I guess I blamed myself for how surprised I was.
But I was surprised by the words that went on.
"You, too, seem to be the same, above all."
"Oh, thank you"
I know I've been cared for a lot for a long time, but it's rare to be put into words directly. Cordelia accidentally broke her expression and laughed.
Hans was also grinning deeply about how he was caught like that.
"Sir, shall I prepare your tea?
"Oh."
Elvis, who took Hans' offer, said "to the sunroom," seemed to return to his room once. Apparently, you should have said that first.
The Pameladia family sunrooms, which are particularly rare to hold tea parties, are exceptionally infrequently used compared to other houses. For this reason, a large number of ornamental plants are placed in potted plants rather than cut flowers indoors. And the flowers that were solidified at the window were pastel colored and soothing shades.
As Cordelia waited to see it for a while, Elvis eventually showed up with Hans. And on the occasion of Elvis sitting down, Cordelia also took her seat. Hans served the tea and stayed down.
"Father, this is a souvenir"
What Cordelia offered along with the words was a box with five rock glasses delivered. There are very many weltrian coloured glasses that have a sandblasting like finish. There is a wide variety of fruit liquor in Weltrian territory that can be harvested with warmth and fruit, and the production of glasses is thriving.
"If you like, use it"
"... oh"
Elvis didn't immediately take the glass out of the box and do anything to look at it, but Cordelia opened her eyes when she poured "Now the Promised Alcohol..."
That really seems to be solitary, and maybe Elvis hasn't noticed the words spoken either. Cordelia was pleased to remember, however, that she had asked me to choose alcohol after adulthood. At the same time, I was delighted to be with Elvis in such a relaxed state that he didn't realize his spilled words.
"... under Uncle Weltrian, you seem to have learned a lot"
Elvis shrugged as he took the cup of tea in his hand, continuing his words as they were.
"Looks like I wanted to keep you with me a little more from Uncle Woman. Lord Bruno also sent us a mourning letter a short while ago saying, 'The excellent secretary will be gone'"
"... was your aunt and uncle praising you that much?
"Oh. The Weltorians say, 'You're always welcome'. If you feel like it, you can visit again. Again for long stays."
Cordelia wondered if that included learning as the next lord, which we had talked about at an early age, but she did not get the impression that Elvis' atmosphere compelled her to make a decision.
"... you just have to do what you want. Evidence that your thoughts were required is also evidence that you were evaluated at the review meeting. Uncle Wertoria says to herself that she's still screwed up."
You'd have guessed Cordelia's thoughts, Elvis put his mouth on tea.
"Thank you, Father"
And Cordelia also reached for the cup. The tea was brewed hibiscus tea that Cordelia had brought home as a souvenir. Originally, roselle flowers were not used as tea in Weltrian territory, but their characteristic acidity seemed easy to match the mouths of Weltrian people, and the way tea leaves were made with flower gum quickly spread. It is high in citric and malic acids and can be expected to reduce cholesterol to improve blood flow, prevent disease in adults, and restore fatigue. What's poured into the cup now is a blend of rosehips, with a very mellow taste. Cordelia was relieved because Elvis didn't seem to like it either.
"... it just doesn't mean you don't have to rush anything. If you want to be a lord, your decision must be hasty. It's gonna be about marriage."
Cordelia, who replied yes on the way, solidified.
(... Kon, are you there?
Cordelia took a few seconds to figure out what words it was guessing.
(Yes, if I...!!)
In the midst of learning all sorts of things from Nilpama...... rather than from the beginning of learning, Cordelia remembered that she had suddenly become busy and had lost sight of herself again being old enough to take such things seriously.
(I should have thought we might start going to the Grand Bookshelf and meet more...)
But that being said, I ended up studying on Weltorian soil, so even if I hadn't forgotten, there shouldn't have been any change. It was only since he was four that Elvis made a clear reference to Cordelia's marriage, but all he was told was that it was practically blank.
('Cause I'm just saying it involves their terms because of what they want to do... and if that's what you want to be lord of, then you're just telling me to make a decision fast...)
Does it mean that Cordelia is also given freedom of choice with regard to the other person?
(If so, you might even be able to make it happen if you make your first love......! If only the person I thought of could turn around......!
Nature and cheeks get hot if you think so. I don't know if I have to stay calm here because I'm in front of Elvis, but if my lord clearly assures me that I don't have to have a wife to the royal family, it means I'll be relaxed.
But in contrast to such cordelia, I felt Elvis' eyesight was growing more than usual. Sharp eyesight, I wonder?
"... father?
"Either way, it's still early. At least they won't make sense until they're adults."
"Huh? Yes"
But a month from now, I'm an adult. I'm not talking about being too early, but Cordelia still doesn't have someone she can definitely wish for right now, so she won't have to.
"I'll leave it to Ishma who you leap against at the beginning of the night club"
It doesn't seem particularly unnatural for Cordelia to have no fiancée, but Elvis still doesn't seem to make the leap. I also embarrassed Ronnie, but Cordelia was feeling a little sorry for me too. To be honest, I was interested in how Elvis would dance.
"And then this is from the Marquis Frantheim"
"From the Marquis...?
Elvis, seen by Cordelia, who received the letter thinking it was unusual, had a very bitter look on his face.
"... it wouldn't say a lot about it anyway, but I did give it to him"
"Yes, we did receive it"
"... I didn't hear you say you were coming after I happened to look at you on your way home and somehow assumed you were back. I managed to put it away, but thanks to it, I got home late"
Of course, Cordelia hasn't told the Marquis of Frantheim or anything about his return to the King's Capital, nor has she reported to Vernault that he has yet returned home. So it was really strange why the Marquis had guessed. Maybe because Elvis spent more time trying to leave the castle than usual...... is it?
Cordelia could not open the letter before Elvis, who had just raised her dissatisfaction, and then she talked about her skills regarding water, which she had toured on Weltrian soil, and about her newly gained connections there. I didn't dig much because of instructions from Elvis at a later date for the detailed story, but still the sun quickly went down, and once it was open, until dinner each of them would return to their room. Of course we could have gone straight to the dining room together, but Cordelia also wanted to leave the letter she received in her room.
"... and then you don't mind reading a little bit."
That being said, when I cut the seal of the letter, there was a note enclosed in it that spanned five sheets. Vernotte, which always ends in a few lines, was very different, and Cordelia laughed a little bitterly, wondering if even parents and children would make a difference so far, and if Elvis had been waited until this was written up. Without this, Elvis' return home could have been quicker.
The letter from the Marquis Frantheim had begun with the write-up that I happened to see Elvis first but was unlikely to be allowed to visit the Pameladia family today. After that, there was a connection with Sarah, my wife, so I skipped about three copies to try to get more details. And later in the fourth sheet, there was a story about attending a night club for Cordelia.
Are you gonna jump on Elvis? I heard it ended with great momentum. I've never seen you dance in a long time, so I was a little excited. '
Having seen that sentence, Cordelia wondered if the Marquis of Frantheim would not have accepted Elvis to leap because he had said such a thing. Not once in a long time, I may be really bad at it, but there's absolutely nothing like Elvis jumping into something he makes fun of himself.
I couldn't even get a response when I said, "How about using Vernault?"
Cordelia was weakened by the letter. I guess the Marquis Frantheim didn't mean it either because it's a momentum that seems like he could even hear a laugh from a very enjoyable letter, but if he did that, he could also be regarded as his fiancée. I'm in a state of emergency.
Vernor is a very reliable opponent as a friend, but he also thinks he probably won't be able to have romantic feelings for each other. It's not hard to imagine that if you say this, you'd be laughed at with your nose, and it's the mountain of Sekiyama who often makes fun of you for "what the hell you were in love with me". In the first place, to avoid hazel in the past, it would be all the more so now that we have set up white feather arrows on Cordelia because of a warrant that you don't get me wrong.
But I wonder if Vernault will welcome any kind of young lady, Cordelia pinched her. Marquis Frantheim, who spells out his enthusiasm for the Lady, says, 'Find it yourself! It would pierce your stance with', and I couldn't really imagine Vernor dictating your lady.
"... remains, well, Master Vernault's future is going to be slight someday..., and what I need to care about is me, right?"
Even though one of the anxieties completely disappeared with words from Elvis, there is still something left to be desired. It's Shelley's presence.
"... if there's nothing you can see right now, that's fine."
But it won't work either. Some rumors are grabbing Cordelia, too. I grew up to be a big warrant lady... which doesn't seem to be the case at the moment.
But still, the most important thing is to work your way up the lead stage first.
Cordelia was so relieved that she put the letter in her desk once. And my thoughts on the Marquis Frantheim's wife turned to the dining room as I tried to read it again later slowly.
