Drop!! ~A Tale of the Fragrance Princess~ (WN)
Act 100 To Overlap Happiness
Cordelia was dressed in a pure white dress on the day the cloudless, penetrating blue sky spread over the king's capital.
How much time was spent choosing one of these dresses - something I don't even want to recall. Initially I thought Cordelia was something that didn't take that long to pick a dress or anything like that. I have a good grasp of my tastes. But because it was a once-in-a-lifetime commemoration, Nirupama and Malvina became very aggressive and engaged in intense exchanges of views with designers, and dressed in cordelias in a near-shaped dress, feeling like they were dressed as dolls day after day for nearly a month.
And in the end, it was one thing about Sylvester that opened the situation.
"If it's Cordelia, doesn't this design-like dress look good on you?
That was close to Cordelia's hope. Cordelia said initially, 'Because of this, give the new mould a challenge too!' Nilpama and Malvina, who rejected it, were also convinced after a little thought. Both of them, apparently, were going to respect their wishes, not to mention their own.
Cordelia expressed her sincere gratitude to Sylvester, who understood that her sister and aunt were in custody because she thought it was for her own good, but just wanted to get ready for something else.
But Sylvester laughed small.
'It's more for me than for Dili, though.' Cause it's sloppy, right? It's all over Uncle Weltoria and my sister-in-law, and they take Dili's time. '
The princess line wedding dress that was actually finished had a long train with plenty of lace that hadn't been heard at the time, which was more luxurious than I expected, which surprised me, but Cordelia, remembering that there had been such an exchange, tried desperately to contain the cheeks that began to red tide. Even though I remember myself at this time, it is already another festival.
"Ma'am, are you okay?
"Yes... I'd like some tea, but that's something I can't have right now."
Now that the makeup is done beautifully, I want to avoid red on the cup, and I want to avoid adding moisture to my stomach. Even if the shape of the dress is preferred, it is obvious that it will suffer because it is quite tight.
Emina laughed at the cordelia that looked like that.
"Lady, I miss you a little, even if it's the last time I call you"
"I'm gonna sneak out to the greenhouse, so I'd be glad to have you call me a lady then"
"Yes, sir."
Talking about that, a clear knock sounded in the room and the door was opened by a servant who had refrained near the door.
It was Sylvester who showed up.
"You're all set."
"I hear the bridegroom is waiting for you in the temple."
"I'm sorry, but I need to report something."
Having heard the words, Emina glanced at the servants in the room, then thanked them.
"Your Highness, I would like to take a few seats off."
"I'm sorry."
"But we don't have much time until the ceremony. Please note that Cordelia doesn't have time to fix her makeup."
"Okay."
Cordelia, for a moment, did not know what Sylvester had accepted. But I thought about why my makeup would collapse as I watched everyone leave the room, and I got to one answer when the door closed.
"Nails, you've been sacrificed"
"Sorry, just a little joke..."
"I was thinking about doing some prep exercises, but I'm keeping my mouth shut until the ceremony."
"Hey, Your Highness! You must have heard from him in a hurry! Besides... aren't you rubbing your cheeks off?
"Oh, this is a medal"
"Medal?"
"Finally, I just took one from Elvis"
Cordelia blinked at the words.
"You're surprised. But I certainly don't know if I can win again next time, and Elvis told me, 'What are you so happy about that you could beat an old man once?'"
"Before the ceremony... my father caused you a great deal of trouble"
Because Sylvester had the premise that 'if I could dictate Cordelia', or Elvis would not disagree with the headless, nor would he ask Cordelia for progress, there was always a bare gesture that Sylvester would come home early or care about something on the day he came to the mansion or Cordelia headed for the castle.
Still, I had a pale acceptance of the fold in my application for engagement six months ago, and although my reaction was faint in the next few days, I thought I was back to my usual condition during the inspection trip I accompanied -.
"No, I asked you to do it from me. I knew I'd never be able to defeat Father, and I thought Father was worried, and I wouldn't be dressed up."
Certainly not something that stood out when it came to scratches, and Cordelia kept shrugging her shoulders if she saw the satisfied Sylvester.
"But they did say they weren't willing to let me marry you for three years, but I felt fooled. I can't believe you didn't actually forgive me for four years."
"It's hard to say because after three years, I wasn't going to let him marry me."
Sylvester nodded at Cordelia's words.
"Well, maybe you wish you'd felt safe letting me take care of Dili."
"What are you talking about already! It's about time."
But Sylvester doesn't show how he walks away roaring.
"I don't want to go."
"What are you talking about"
I thought you said it wouldn't be the same day sooner than this, but even Cordelia would have trouble reacting if she said that with a serious face. But Sylvester laughed bitterly but made no corrections.
"'Cause when the ceremony starts, I'm way behind schedule, so it's already night we can talk next. He's next door."
"... I will always be with you, so bear with me"
I put my hand on my forehead wondering what to say, but so it wasn't Sylvester who honestly obeyed me.
"Well, I guess I'll be patient if you call me by my name"
"... that's a lot cheaper please"
"As cheap as it sounds, when you come to the castle or in the Pameladian mansion, it will almost be all 'Your Highness'. Maybe you think it's because you have eyes, but you don't call me that at all than you did when Jill did. As far as I'm concerned, it's either Jill or Sylvester."
In that childlike tone, Cordelia coughed one and then slowly opened her mouth.
"Good luck and show me that you are a good lord, Master Sylvester"
……
"What is it?
I thought you were still unhappy because you wouldn't move, but Sylvester laughed slowly.
"Yeah. I just thought I forgot to tell you the first time I said the dress looked great. It's such a waste to my wife."
"Oh, so, what suits my husband better?
"That's... I guess you want to think I'm the only one"
Cordelia also smiled back at the words.
"Now, I will refine every day so that I am not ashamed to be at Master Sylvester's side."
The reply was not a word, but a hand offered.
Cordelia lay her own hands on that hand.
Previously, and always will.
All this time, we decided in our hearts to build happiness together.
