After signing the agreement, Lin Qi remained composed and officially began to peruse the S-Class Pharmacy literature.

A monumental Door to the Pharmacy of the Cyber World had officially opened before Lin Qi.

S-Class Pharmacy Theory Outline

A Discussion on the Fundamental Principles of Pharmacy and the Origin of Potion Functions, Based on an Analysis of the Commonalities Between M, L, and A-Class Potions

A Tier Five Comparison: A-Class Potions Are Not the Limit, and the Commonalities Between Tier Four Extraordinaries and S-Class Potions

An Investigation into Tier Four Extraordinaries: Discussing the Feasibility of Producing S-Class Potions, Current Challenges in Pharmacy, and Its Incomplete Compatibility with Extraordinary Professions

Landmark Applications: Special Ratios of Large-Volume Materials, the Connection Between Potions, the Extraordinary, and Willpower—The Foundational Argument for S-Class Potions

This was less a collection of literature and more a chronicle of the birth of the S-Class Potion.

Understanding this chronicle helped researchers truly comprehend the essence of the S-Class Potion.

Compared to M, L, and A-Class Potions, the S-Class Potion seemed to be humanity’s first direct contact with the Extraordinary Domain through Pharmacy.

’Willpower? You imbue a Potion with Willpower through a combination of Extraordinary Materials and guidance on the level of "inspiration"?’

’What is this "inspiration" thing?’

Seeing one new term after another gave even Lin Qi a bit of a headache.

With no experienced mentor to answer his questions, he could only fumble his way through it on his own.

Every time he encountered a new term, Lin Qi had to search for its origin within the vast sea of S-Class Pharmacy literature.

He would check the cited literature, then the literature cited within that, slowly tracing everything back to its roots until he formed a systematic understanding.

As he read on, Lin Qi came across a document with a title that immediately caught his attention.

The Irreproducibility of S-Class Pharmaceutical Researchers and Their Innate Inspiration Talent: A Thesis on the Positive Correlation Between Inspiration Talent and the Talents of Certain Extraordinary Professions (Shaman, Wizard, Priest, and Native Extraordinary)

This document mentioned the Wizard Profession, which naturally drew Lin Qi’s attention.

Aside from the Wizard Profession, the document’s main subject of research was the so-called Inspiration Talent.

The document’s introduction offered a more detailed explanation of the Inspiration Talent.

"The Inspiration Talent is considered by S-Class Pharmaceutical Researchers to be the foundation for creating S-Class Potions. To this day, we are unable to determine how S-Class Pharmaceutical Researchers make them. Even if we replicate all their procedures perfectly, we can never produce an identical S-Class Potion."

"The name ’Inspiration Talent’ comes from the idiom ’a flash of inspiration.’ The key to creating an S-Class Potion lies in the S-Class Pharmaceutical Researcher’s fleeting flash of Spiritual Light."

Reading this, Lin Qi finally understood what "inspiration" was.

It was a pure feeling, a special sense that no instrument could replace.

After learning about the Inspiration Talent, Lin Qi moved on to the main body of the document.

The main text presented statistics on the personal Extraordinary Professions of a full twenty-nine Pharmaceutical Researchers.

It also included an analysis of the recorded professional Abilities of over a thousand A-Class Pharmaceutical Researchers after they delved into the study of S-Class Pharmacy.

Although the sample size was not large, it could, to some extent, validate the author’s claims in the title.

First, of the twenty-nine Pharmaceutical Researchers, twenty-six possessed an Extraordinary Profession, and all of them fell into one of four categories: Shaman, Wizard, Priest, or Native Extraordinary.

Seeing the two new concepts, "Priest" and "Native Extraordinary," Lin Qi patiently looked up the related information on each one.

The Priest profession was similar to the Shaman, with very similar methods. From the description, they sounded almost like the same Extraordinary Profession. Furthermore, according to some research, the Talents of the two Extraordinary Professions were interchangeable, and they could even share Abilities and techniques.

It seemed somewhat analogous to the relationship between a Wizard and a Blood Robe.

As for Native Extraordinary Professionals, the definition was quite interesting. It referred to people born with Extraordinary Power, somewhat like the Awakened from the Doomsday World. Their power was relatively focused, but they possessed exceptional Talent and grew very quickly.

However, by checking the Liu Clan’s internal files and historical literature, Lin Qi discovered that the number of Native Extraordinary Professionals was dwindling, and now there were too few to even be properly counted.

After reviewing the relevant background information, Lin Qi continued reading the document.

According to the document’s conclusion, all the Pharmaceutical Researchers, except for a mere three who had no Extraordinary Profession, shared one characteristic.

Their own Extraordinary Professions were heavily focused on the strength of their Spiritual Power.

A Talent for Spiritual Power seemed to be a prerequisite for the Inspiration Talent.

’Three S-Class Pharmaceutical Researchers with no Extraordinary Profession, huh...?’

’Do they really not possess an Extraordinary Profession? If that’s true, then the sample data slightly contradicts the conclusion.’

Reading this, Lin Qi immediately became suspicious of those three anomalous samples.

Lin Qi quickly flipped to the document’s conclusion section.

Upon careful inspection, he spotted a line of text in an extremely small, almost imperceptible font tucked between the lines.

P.S. I suspect those three old coots aren’t telling the truth. All three of them have been working at top corporations since the First Corporate War. Even though we’re supposedly friends, they’re clearly not being honest!

The font was so small that Lin Qi would never have seen it if he hadn’t been looking for it on purpose.

The author of the paper clearly had the same idea as Lin Qi.

Why should those three get to be special when everyone else was an Extraordinary Professional?

Lin Qi raised an eyebrow. After discovering the tiny text, he noticed something else—there was a problem with the page’s formatting.

It was embedded with a vector graphic!

An image that could be magnified infinitely without distortion.
