Lesson 9: The Wolf Crusade in the Woods - Part Two
I thought you knocked me down for blowing me out. Warwolf walks out toward Mr. Grey.
Apparently, he lost interest from me.
Well, if you judge me by my appearance alone, I don't even look the weakest part of the party. Some women, but I have already shown the strength of Marianne, who magically defeats Forestwolf one after another, and Lishua, who defeated him at once with cannons.
So I don't regret being thought weaker than a woman.
That's it, too.
The moment you take the ring embedded in your finger, the status that was suppressed is released.
"Gah!"
Warwolf, who was pointing toward Mr. Grey, turns toward me.
Have you noticed the strength that has been multiplied by ten, even if only the demons that have lived in the wild were suppressed and you couldn't tell I was the strongest?
"What's up?
Warwolf puts up his fist when he tells him to provoke.
It was indeed a tremendous power when the sword was pressed.
But...
"Sorry to hear that."
Slap a kick in from the top of the stand-up on a fist-erecting Wolfe and Wolfe's body will be bounced off. Fist again when you can't fall down somehow.
But that appearance seemed frightened of me.
They still feel that my status is a threat by instinct.
But he can't do anything.
Taking a step, Warwolf takes a step back.
"Did you assume that no one could beat you?
I don't know if I understood the word, but Warwolf sticks out his fist, abandoned with a frightened look on his face. This is how he really fights.
But I won't let anything happen.
As he slices and dodges his protruding fist, he grabs his arm and lifts it, slamming it from his back to the ground.
Warwolf screams out of severe pain.
"Shut up."
Trying to kick him in the belly from the top, he jumps back a lot, and even though he stood with two legs until then, he also uses his forefoot, like Forest Wolf, in a wolf-like position with four legs.
Keep running at full speed.
Turn your back on me...
"What?"
The unexpected behavior of Wolff stops.
Two Forest Wolves attacked there.
Did you ask Forest Wolf to stop me at the end of the day to let you get away with it? You don't have to be two people short. If you focus on all the Forest Wolves in this place, you might be able to buy enough time to get away.
But I can't let you, the commander, take all of my men to escape.
I ran through the scene before Forest Wolf attacked me, and Forest Wolf was emptying his sharp nails where I was. Forest Wolf is ignored. Even the Blades can handle the rest of the numbers without sacrificing.
But letting dangerous demons like Warwolf get away with this is not a good idea.
"Oh."
"Gah!"
Warwolf speaks out in amazement.
I guess so. The most confident 'agility' of my status. Nevertheless, would it surprise you if there were a side by side opponent who could follow you about your full speed?
Yeah, it's definitely fast.
But his status doesn't reach 1,000 in all. He attacked me, attacked me, measured me side by side. Probably about 900 to 1000. Even the Blades. An opponent you can't defeat individually without working together to fight. However, if you consider yourself a little weaker than me in a constrained state and slower than Mr. Almira, who was at the entrance to the labyrinth...
"I don't feel threatened at all."
He overtakes him from being side-by-side, and when he gets out in front of Wolff, he measures the timing and kicks his jaw up.
When he was launched and saw Warwolf, who had fallen to the ground, rise fluttered, he swung up and jumped.
- Slash.
Warwolf's body is severed from the top of the sky to the tip of his crotch.
"Phew."
As he delivers his sword to his sheath exhaling, Warwolf's body falls to the ground and makes a loud noise.
"Dude, are you serious..."
Mr. Blades has joined us there.
Apparently, I've lost count and I've been able to crusade everything about Forest Wolf.
And I think he came after me worried about me disappearing into the back of the woods.
"No way, you knocked him out on your own?
"Liar... they're warwolves"
"If you can, keep a secret about my status."
"Oh, when you're a rookie and you have the strength to defeat Wolff alone, you'll be invited from all sorts of parties without a cut. There's a chance that they'll solicit you forcefully."
That's a hassle.
"It's a bit more status than people, but I don't have enough experience as an adventurer, so I'd like to avoid that kind of solicitation."
"Yeah, I almost wanted us to be instant fighters if that's all we got... well, let's work together even when we feel like it"
"Thank you"
I don't know how far I can trust you, but I simply wanted to believe the people in front of me.
"So what do we do with this situation?
Around, nearly a hundred Forest Wolf bodies. Warwolf, who was cut off by it, was down.
"First, I'm going to call the village chief, my client. Gilderts and Marianne, go."
"Ok......"
Mr Marianne responded by taking Mr Gildertz to the village. We were both supposed to be tired, but we looked happy. After all, I guess I was glad the village, my home town, could have been protected.
"Lishua, are there any wolves left, not just Forest Wolves, near here?
"Wait a minute..."
Mr. Lishua was searching around using the magic tools (magic items) that found the herd.
"Yeah. There's no more Forest Wolf or Warwolf in this forest."
"Well, I guess so"
All Forest Wolf was led by Warwolf.
There would never have been anything more powerful demon than Warwolf or anything else that would have been successfully managed like that if there had been Warwolf.
"Well, even if unexpected demons show up, Mars, you'll do something about it."
"You don't!
Mr. Gray was laughing in agreement with Mr. Lishua's words to soothe the place.
"You guys...... what do veterans like us do with relying on rookies?
"Because it was really amazing. Hey, were you serious about that?
I answer only with a vague grin.
In fact, I removed the constraint ring because I decided it was dangerous considering what it might be like with the constraint ring on, but I only put about 1500 force on my Warwolf opponent.
It's not just the status.
He was bounced off by Warwolf and damaged by being slapped by a tree, losing about 30% of his health. Removing the constraint ring in that condition did not feel like 30% to 3% health. Apparently, improving stats all at once leaves the damage as a percentage.
"But I'm not serious. Oh, say anything I can. I'll do everything I can to thank you for your help."
Oh, you want me to say anything?
I decided to say what I had always wanted to ask of you.
"Then why don't you let me use that magic tool?
"Hmm, this?
"Yes, actually, I have a missing father, and with that magic tool, I think I can find out where he is."
Magic tools are the property of adventurers. If you're going to let me use that, I might need to pay you back. Well, I wasn't going to pay even if they charged me an extrajudicial fee, but because of this, I'm going to ask you to do it here now, not after I've settled down after the request.
Or how could Mr. Blaze not have told me the existence of this magic tool when he was supposed to know I was looking for my father?
But Mr. Lishua looked sorry.
"No, sir?
"No, I don't think so."
I can't?
"This magic tool is highly accurate to detect, but it has a wide range of effects there. To put it plainly, if you use it in these woods, it feels like detecting Forest Wolf in the woods."
In other words, in order to find my father's whereabouts with this magic tool, I can only use the magic tool near my father to know his exact location.
You don't even know where my father is, so that doesn't make sense.
"Oh, but this magic tool is like a magic tool created by an old alchemist with reference to the magic tools found in the labyrinth, so you might be able to find it. It's hard to borrow the original magic tools because they seem to be under strict control in the King's Capital."
Yeah, I know you'll find those magic tools in the labyrinth.
Just because I'm a labyrinth lord didn't mean everything would work out the way I wanted.
So, I've been gathering information in the Adventurer Guild and stuff, and given that we don't gather any information so far, maybe it's time to think of another means.
