"Ah, you're finally here, Mr. Mars."

Apparently, visiting the Adventurer Alliance was waiting for me. Mr. Rooty welcomed me.

Well, it's the first Adventurer Guild in a week, so I can't help but be told it's been a long time.

"Is something wrong?

Noisy adventurer guild as usual.

There's no rush, either, like one day an emergency request was made.

"Oh, don't worry, it doesn't mean it's an emergency"

"What?"

I just exhaled and see Mr. Rooty as a party member to my left and right. And at the end of the day, look at me and say something.

"Congratulations, everyone"

"Huh?"

I didn't remember anything like being congratulated by Mr. Rooty.

"Mars, you are disguised as calm, but you can tell the other three have gone up the adult stairs from the girl. I've seen all sorts of female adventurers as a receptionist for the Adventurers Guild, so I say..."

"Hey!?

I was spotted at a glance at what happened between us.

"It's a joke."

I've been apologizing for being a joke with my tongue out.

"It's just that when I was a freshman adventurer, Mars, as far as I know you, I'm a little sorry to see someone like my brother put three strands on you."

"Uh..."

"This is also a joke. Because it's obvious from the look on their faces that they're embracing the situation."

When I saw the party members on the left and right, no one gazed at me out of embarrassment. Kind of lonely.

"I've never seen you not come to the guild in a week, but what the hell were you doing"

Mr. Rooty looks at me surprised.

No, I was doing exactly what Mr. Routie imagined for four of the seven days, but I was tired for the rest of the three days, spending dusk in the labyrinth with the sunset to heal my heart. In the meantime, Sylvia and the others were thoughtful that they could not take the request in the absence of a leader.

Anyway, it's time to cut this story off. It's dangerous.

"So, it looks like you've been expecting us, but did you have any business?

"It was!

I take one requisition form out of the counter drawer like I really forgot and smile.

"Mars, I have a favor to ask of you."

"To us?

I have had experience referring requests before, but things seem a little different than before.

"It's a Dimensional Site Survey."

"Dimensional ruins?

A name that I had never heard popped up.

When I saw Sylvia and the others, they were also tilting their necks to see if it was a name they had never heard of. Maybe it's something less well known when you don't even know Melissa.

But we have a much more dependable wisdom bag.

"Has that event come..."

Does the labyrinth nucleus know or reacted to the term 'dimensional ruins'?

He also remembers those who acted as adventurers while he was a labyrinth lord, just like me, because he also knows exactly what the labyrinth lords did in history.

I can't afford to listen to you in front of Mr. Rooty, so I'll try to hear more about you when I get back to the mansion.

Now, Mr. Routie's explanation of what he's asking for is a priority.

"Mars, do you know why the Arcanum region is called the border?

"It's caused by the magic that lives on the land."

"Exactly."

The Arkanam region, home to the city of Alistair, had luxurious magic and had gathered in the Arkanam region to attract many of the demons who lived on it. Moreover, the magic that dwelt on the earth had created a strong demon, turning it into a dangerous zone with demonic threats.

Nevertheless, it's not all about the disadvantages.

Thanks to magic acting as a kind of barrier, the Arkanam region was less prone to environmental changes from its surroundings. The climate is thereby stable. In addition, agriculture is thriving because the earth is fertile due to the influence of magic, and the meat of demons grown with the magic of the border is tastier.

A land that is dangerous, but highly beneficial.

That was the perception of the border.

"It's generally not wrong, but there are some issues on the border that are not known to the public"

"Do you have something like that?

"Yes, it's just not well known because there's no danger to the average person. Adventurers are generally supposed to deal with it before it becomes dangerous."

I didn't know that was happening when I was in Dayton Village.

It would mean that the adventurer should deal with it rather than panic or leave people out of the periphery because they become known despite the lack of urgency hazards.

I don't know about the subtleties around here.

"That, dimensional ruins are also unknown information to the public?

"That's right. It's a facility that's discovered about once every two or three years, but the magic on the periphery can affect it and connect space to sites in different worlds."

"The other world?

"Nor do we understand the details of what the other worlds are like. It's just the realization that this is a different space."

So, okay?

I guess that's enough if you just deal with the dangers of what you think.

"There are a limited number of people allowed in this ruin. But there are precious things in the treasures you get inside, so the Adventurer Alliance only tries to send selected and powerful adventurers to the ruins."

At least we were recognized by the Adventurer Alliance for some strength, so we were told about the site survey.

"Are dimensional ruins where adventurers need to be?

"Inside you will see demons of considerable strength. If the demon continues to leave the dimensional ruins unattended, it will come out of the ruins, so we need to crusade to keep them out until we attack them."

"Ruin attack, is it?

"The size and structure of the ruins can vary from time to time, but by defeating the demons in the deepest part as something we have in common, and gaining treasure, the ruins stop all functioning"

He doesn't know how, he doesn't know that's happening.

I got a little interested as a labyrinth owner, too.

"I don't really recommend a request for a relic relationship......"

But it's the labyrinth nucleus that's passive.

I usually tell them to stop even though they would gladly tell me to take it if something special happened that I wouldn't normally receive.

"Mars, I want you to take part in this monument attack."

I understand the content of the request introduced by Mr. Routie.

We need to see what the party members think about the problems that the labyrinth nucleus cares about later.

"I don't mind."

"It's a request I can't take anywhere else, and it sounds interesting."

"I'm interested purely out of intellectual curiosity"

The consent of the party members was also obtained.

"That's why we want to take it too."

"Thank you. This will be the place."

I took a map from the drawer with the location where the ruins were now found.

If you check the location of the site on the map, you can see that it is located opposite the labyrinth, northeast of the city of Alistair.

"By the way, we'll be meeting locally, so make sure you get there by noon tomorrow"

"Tomorrow!?

It's a little too steep.

If you're a normal adventurer, you're about three hours away on foot.

Though we can get there within an hour if we hurry, we don't have much time left.

"This request was originally one that I've been recruiting for five days, and if you guys hadn't come today, Mars, I would have dropped the request off."

That's our fault for not coming to the guild for a week.

If it really was a hasty project that had to be us, we would have had the option of going to the Mansion, but the request for a site survey is just a story that the Alliance is receiving by courtesy.

"Okay. I'd like to be ready to head to the field by tomorrow."

"Best wishes. I think it's better to hear about the ruins from senior adventurers on the ground than from me."

I got the details of the request.

There will be many things that need to be aligned, but we should also go back to the mansion to hear from the labyrinth nucleus, the only one of us who knows about the ruins.

"Now, let me briefly explain from mine too -"
