Dungeon Master Makeup Money (formerly known as Dungeon Master Funding)
Lesson 19: Negotiating a Girl
Inside the chest was a small red gem.
Upon retrieval of the gems, the upstairs exploration is carried out.
As a result, we found a staircase leading to the third floor thanks to continued exploration for half a day.
"Shall we go home around here today?"
"Yes."
If you take your pocket watch out of your pocket and check the time, it's going to be evening by the time you get home.
It doesn't take that long to get home.
The upstairs exploration was while making the maps, so it took time, but when we looked at the maps we had made with our own hands, we could see exactly how to get to the room with the stairs.
"All you have to do is follow the map back."
If only we knew the directions for our running speed, it wouldn't be long.
The second floor of the ruins is really narrower than the first floor due to its pyramid-shaped structure. It took a short time to explore the same among the space-extended ruins.
"Exit!
After all, it is better outside where the sun's light reaches than in confined spaces like labyrinths and ruins.
When I went outside the ruins, the sun had already begun to sink.
Sometimes winter means the sun sets fast, but still it must have taken nearly half a day to come back after exploring upstairs.
You might want to consider staying in the ruins to explore the third and fourth floors.
Unlike the labyrinth, it takes time to explore because the ruins do not have metastatic crystals that can be moved from the entrance to the hierarchy of your choice. Return outside the ruins to rest safely and start over from the beginning. The demons and the like inside are exorcised, and after the map is made, it doesn't take as long as the first time, but it takes time.
"What about dinner?
But first, we need to finish the day well.
"Does your husband have anything to eat?
If Sylvia says I want to eat this, I guess I'll do everything possible to cook it, even outdoors.
"You can make Sylvia what you want."
"Is it mine?
"Oh, you're the MVP today."
It was a secret pleasure to have acquired the power to discern the trap.
"Then why don't you take a look around the dewstore because of it? I was a little interested in the ingredients I could get around the ruins."
"Oh, I was wondering what I was selling too."
"Why don't we sell the demon stones we got anyway?"
Ordinary adventurers get it because it will be luggage. The demon stones they get are sold to merchants for redemption.
Not only do we have storage rings, but we also have a toolbox (item box) that can be stored indefinitely, so let's sell it.
And I heard anger as I turned to those with open-air merchants.
"He said the map to the third floor is three gold coins!?
The Lord of the Voice is Leflan.
The opponent is an Illistian who also ran into him this morning.
I could have predicted what I was doing out of Leflan's words.
"Are you going to take that attitude when I'm trying to sell you a map that I struggled to make out of favor as my hometown?"
"Shut the fuck up, little girl!
From a late twenties Leflan, Iristia of our age would look like a child.
But adventurers are a world of absolute strength.
It's the line of a powerless guy who doesn't understand the area.
Leflan reaches for Illistia.
- Ice Coffin.
Just chanting a short magic name.
Still activated magic generates ice around Leflan's stretched hand, making his hand ice marinated in a flash.
"Temeye......!
"Do you want to rest tomorrow with frostbite, not paralysis? I don't care either way."
"Ku......"
Though A-rank and B-rank, there is a huge difference in strength between Iristia and Leflan.
It is impossible to beat Illistia in a decent way in Leflan.
"So, three gold coins, do you want to pay?
"... I don't have a hand right now"
"That would be because I bought a paralysis defense talisman"
I thought you bought it instead of bringing it.
When that happens, do some open-air merchants handle such things?
"You can get paid for selling treasures and demon stones from the ruins, or you can go back to Krashel and pay for them."
That's what I say. I take one piece of paper out of my nose.
That probably says selling the map for three gold coins and stating that you will pay well.
Iristia, who sensed from the morning disturbances that the Luffans lacked the capacity to pay, would have prepared a contract before responding to a deal with the Luffans.
"The third floor has not yet been explored by any other adventurer to the extent that we have also explored just a little. It's the tool you need to get on the first ride there. Or isn't it a deficit if you don't even ride number one?
Going to the site search means that without the treasures gained from exploring the site, there will be no income.
You must be spending money on food and other things to live your day and buying various tools to go and explore the ruins. The Lefrans are already spending less this time challenging the ruins.
I need to salvage that in my exploration, but I've wasted two days.
"I know!
When Iristia hears Leflan's words, she touches the ice that was covering her arms. Then, the ice becomes water and dissolves.
When I pull the contract to take it away, I sign it.
"You're good with this!
"Yeah, I expect you to make good money."
Return to those who have Zukazka and their tents without Leflan saying anything.
Iristia seems happy that the map has sold well, but the city that operates should be the same as Leflan. I have to leave some weird troubles.
"It's okay."
I tell Iristia to respond to my anxiety while I drop my gaze on the contract.
"He's the leader of the B-Rank Adventurer Party, but the strength of the other members isn't that much. Krashel's guild master has a sweet spot for love, so he's made Leflan's dream come true, which he's spoiled for years by C-rank adventurers."
Being B-ranked was one of the goals for adventurers.
That's because in order to be promoted to the B-Rank, you need to be evaluated for strength by the Alliance Master you are enrolling in.
Adventurers appreciated for their strength by Alliance Masters.
And Krashel has all sorts of circumstances, and he wants a strong adventurer to reside. "
Illistia stores the contract when she activates the storage ring with magic on the ring embedded in the middle finger of her left hand.
It's not hard to buy a storage ring if you're a really capable high-ranking adventurer.
"That is the situation that even they need…"
"Iristia"
The approaching of three of my associates interrupted the conversation and prevented me from hearing the circumstances.
"What's up?
"I was just worried because I was going to go sell Demon Stone with him and he wasn't coming back"
"Rest assured. I just didn't buy it out because I saw a bit of Leflan."
"I'm in trouble with that one."
Huh, and he's sighing.
You don't treat me well even though I'm from the same place.
"If you like, why don't you guys go sell Demon Stones together?
"Huh...?
"The merchants here are going to do business like seeing the foot of an adventurer with heavy luggage."
"But..."
"Go for him"
One of my fellow Iristians, a wizard in a robe, approaches me softly and tells me in a whisper. Or hidden in the shadow of Illistia, but even her people are strong.
But the gaze coming at us is sweet. It's as warm as it is directed at my daughter and her friends.
"She has been an adventurer since childhood. So I'm glad to have someone my age who can be as active as me."
"Fine."
We're not used to dealing in places like this either.
Because of this, let me learn a lot from Illistia, a veteran.
Besides, it's not a bad thing for Sylvia and the others to interact with the same girl adventurer they are.
"Besides, why don't you join us for dinner anyway?
"Are you sure?
"Yeah, I don't mind."
I'm glad I brought in a lot of food.
