Dungeon Master Makeup Money (formerly known as Dungeon Master Funding)

Episode 18: The Girls' Battlefield - Part One

An Imperial Army deployed in a remote position as it jumped over the city of Krashel and reached the North Gate, emitting a magical flame against the outer wall.

Meanwhile, the enchanted Krashel is defending the magic by letting the magic shield unfold from the inside of the outer wall onto the surface.

They both seem to be purposeful of buying time and lack decision making.

As someone who rushed to the rescue, we have to do something about it.

"Tempestrances"

When I use magic, the wind wraps around the wand I had...... a tornado.

This magic is an opposing magic that would otherwise wipe out enemies by causing the spear to wrap a swirling wind around them and poke them. Neither the cane nor the spear will be much different, so you won't have a problem using it with the cane.

Get rid of it.

When the wind throws a swirling wand to a place where the Imperial Army is located, the wizard who took a direct hit and the body of the wizard who was around him are shattered.

A tragic sight stops the Imperial Army from attacking.

"Who!?

A commander-like knight looks over the attacked sky.

I didn't really want to stay up there, so I'm going down to the ground to retrieve my cane.

"Nice to meet you. My name is Melissa and I'm a B-rank adventurer. I've come to destroy you in response to a request for help."

"Hmm..."

annihilation, the commander was grinning, even though he said it on purpose.

"What can you do alone? Your daughter doesn't seem to know what a battlefield is."

"This is certainly the first time I've been in a war, but I think I know how much power I need to destroy 500 people."

"What can a woman do"

The commander is sniffing.

Well, I just want to say what I can do with the big army on my own before I become a family member, too.

But I know what they mean.

They don't seem to be complaining about the recklessness of intervening in a war by themselves, they seem to be complaining about a woman standing on the battlefield. You can see that my gaze is directed at my body, not myself, in that evidence. I've long been used to being directed a disgusting gaze from the men of the city, but I can feel outrage at being directed from soldiers on the battlefield. I have no sense of the temper to fight seriously.

"Well, don't worry, I can use a little magic."

A knightly man with a sword comes forward and points his sword at me.

Doesn't he know I flew in the sky?

Wind Attributes Among Magic The fly of magic is simple in effect, but instead it is treated as advanced magic because it demands elaborate magic control and enormous magic consumption.

I don't even realize I have the skill to handle advanced magic.

That's not worth fighting for a knight for.

"You seem to be mistaken, so let me advise you one thing, I'm not going to fight you."

"You think you can get away with it now?

"Run? No way, I'm not here to fight you (...), I'm here to defeat you (...)"

Swing the wand on the spot.

That's not only the knight, but the head of a soldier who was nearby is spattered by a wind magic blade.

I am the one who has been able to use all attribute magic by getting all attributes, but it still seems to be compatible with the fire and wind attributes that I originally had, making it more powerful than water and soil.

"If you give me everything, like weapons and protective equipment, and surrender, I only guarantee my life. If your life is in vain, I suggest you surrender."

I make a first surrender recommendation.

"You guys, what are you doing to one woman! Surround and attack!

"It would have been easier for you to choose to surrender..."

This request, our reward, is the food the Imperial soldiers have.

Of course weapons and protective equipment. Even the food they own is our reward. Then it would have been appreciated if you could surrender because the gear worth it is where you want to get it intact, but it still seems like you're assuming you can beat a woman.

"Regret that life was scattered by that assumption."

We will wrap the wind around ourselves and penetrate into the enemy army.

They will slaughter and tear the lives of men for heads not protected by armor with wind blades created by waving their wands.

It's the easiest way to burn everything down with flames if you just want to annihilate them, but imitations that hurt your gear for rewards have to weigh themselves.

"Hih!"

"To, run away"

By the time you create a body for a hundred people, you'll start to have soldiers running away. Let them decide to shoot a bullet of wind into their head and stop them in the foot.

It's magic that can be withstood by those who are strong in magic and resistant to magic, but they didn't even seem to have been specially trained to withstand the blow they took to the back of the head.

"What do you do with a glorious Imperial Knight man losing to just one woman!?

Then the commander says that despite the unilateral massacre of a hundred more.

The soldiers listening to the commander also have no way of escaping as one. After all, you seem to have the assumption that you can't beat me, a woman.

It's already a hassle.

"Burn down with that assumption in your arms."

Infuse the magic you can hold to create a sphere of flames over the sky.

Ignisflame boasts the most powerful class of fire attribute magic.

Fire and heat waves surround you the moment you are dropped onto the battlefield on the ground.

I was in a position to take a direct hit, too, but I'm safe with space magic blocking all flames and heat.

"Melissa, what have you done!?

You will receive a reading from the Lord.

Looks like the explosion made me worry.

'... I don't want to answer'

I was just worried about how to answer that. What I saw in my eyes was the bodies of 500 enemy soldiers whose gear wore off. Then a place that was a street that got even more ground.

You have to weigh yourself down to feeling comfortable that strong magic can be used.

I'm going to be able to get the Imperial Army food for the rewards, so I'm going to help with the streets and the wounded. At least it's my responsibility that the streets on the north side are no longer available.

But now let's decide to tell Krashel that the war is over.

"The Imperial Army has been exterminated. It's safe now."

……………

You can't be hearing me because I'm using magic to deliver my voice, but I'm not getting a response from the Krashel army.

Some time after my arrival, the people who were withstanding the Imperial Army's magical attacks inside the outer walls because the attacks from the Imperial Army stopped also watched me fight from the top of the outer walls.

So you understand the fact that I exterminated the Imperial Army.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!

All of a sudden I get cheers from Krashel.

I see. Apparently, the situation could not have been reacted to because of a lack of awareness, even if it was understandable.

Fly under a commander-like figure to keep you accurately informed of the situation.

The commander's man was a young twenties man wearing knight armor.

"Are you the commander here?

"Yes. He's a knight entrusted with the defense on the north side."

"I'm Melissa, Alistair's B-rank adventurer. The Imperial Army has destroyed us."

"Yes, I understand the situation because I was watching. If the north side doesn't seem to be a problem, could you join the adventurer to the east side?

I don't imitate the likelihood of an ambush lurking just like we're all headed for.

But we don't need cover per se.

"No, not at all. My people are also rushing to the east and south for rescue. You won't need time to be destroyed."

"Oh, no way..."

The commander looked east because he couldn't believe my words.

But I was convinced that I immediately remembered the sight caused by the magic I was using.

"I'd rather report to the lord than that, can you guide me?

"Yes, of course."

Even the commander seemed to think he had to make a report. Another knight will guide him to the Lords' Hall in the center of Krashel.

As for the three of my people, I still have things to do, so I have to explain to the lord.
