"The freighter is under attack!

The first thing I noticed about Giant Kraken was Sylvia, who was on alert on the deck.

With Savona approaching, I was on deck alert to get out of the private room on board and see if Giant Kraken showed up, but it wasn't the freighter we were boarding that was attacked, it was another freighter.

They were carrying their baggage in the opposite direction from the trading city we were headed to, and against our ship they were headed for Savona in the form of a port.

As it is still quite distant and difficult to see, a telescope (scope lens) is used to zoom in.

The cargo ship being attacked was about to be mounted with two tentacles out of the sea from the left and right of the ship.

Each of the four adventurers on board the ship against the tentacles is swinging spears and hammers to get rid of them. It would be safer to attack with a bow or magic from a distance, like yesterday's freighter, but none of them have such means of attack or only attack at close range.

That doesn't mean I know when it's going to be attached.

"That's just fine"

Mr. Nilsen shrugged when he came out on the deck and saw the freighter being attacked.

"Giant Kraken seems obsessed with attacking that ship. Let's decide to enter the port now."

Because of its giant size, Giant Kraken cannot follow it to the harbor, which is shallow water. As long as we get into the harbor, we'll be safe.
