Lesson 24: Why Descending Succeeded
The temple in the capital, Elente, panicked as expected.
It is driven from the lower end to the chief cleric, who is responsible for the response of the faithful who pack it in the temple. The chief cleric is a grandfather over sixty years old. Watching you being driven out by such intense duty comes pathetic.
"Ah, seniors!
One of the clerics who was dealing with the faithful noticed.
The clergyman is a girl who began to serve as a lower worker in the temple, where she became busy a little later in Marsene, and more recently was finally entrusted with the help of the clergy.
It seems that Marsene, who had served God from an early age, though a neighbor to such a girl, was admirable.
"Where the hell have you been?!?
The chief cleric inquires about what the girl has noticed.
Exactly. I'd be pissed off if I'd been away for almost a week.
"I'll tell you everything"
It is said that Alsam was crusaded from the mouth of Marsene.
It showed that crop growth was back on track.
It must have been passed on to them too because there are some believers behind it.
"What have you done to me!
An angry clergyman waves.
Marsene is meditating on her eyes if she intends to be slapped.
……
But Marsene opens her eyes without ever getting slapped.
"Huh..."
There was an incredible sight there for Marsene.
Noel, who came out in front of Marsene, was taking the hand of the clergyman.
Noel for her was a woman without the power to fight who couldn't take offense or anything from an angry man. But now he's taking the Cleric Chief's hand firmly.
"She hasn't done anything wrong. It is the clergy's role to serve God, but it is also the clergy's role to teach him to calm down if the God he serves seems to be rampant. This time, we had to put things right by force, but it was supposed to be your job to serve Alsam."
"Ugh, annoying!
I know what Noel is saying to the Chief Cleric is right.
However, I cannot imitate that I only state the right thing now to myself, who has once violated a contraindication.
"Ugh..."
A sight similar to anger is pointed from those who were listening.
"Go home already today!
A clergyman who yells and tells the faithful to go home.
The faithful also go home with a frightened face.
"Yes! If you say you're not here anymore, just let the hunting god down again"
Looks like we're really going to downgrade Altham.
I'm giving some instructions to my men to get ready.
I just had to get stuck like that.
"Wasn't it forbidden to bring God down into this world?
"Of course it's forbidden. The 'trust' I was doing is the critical range. God basically shouldn't be involved with this world."
See Tishua, God himself.
I guess it's not a mistake because he snorted bitterly.
Still, the priests are trying to enforce it.
"I don't think you can make a good descent where you were fit in the first place."
It's a real coincidence that Marsene has succeeded.
Yes, Tishua thinks.
But the moment she saw the altar brought in at the behest of the chief cleric, her gaze nailed to the altar.
"That's..."
"Something?
"By reason, even Marsene should succeed in the surrender."
One, I'm convinced Tishua.
He told me when he asked for an explanation.
"It looks like that altar… but the coffin has the power to seal God"
Seal the power of God by locking him in a coffin.
Moreover, the sealed power of God is being used to make physical seals.
"That's a bad substitute."
"Of course, if there were people who could use the array and it was a complete substitute, we're talking about"
No one is now familiar with how to use it.
And I don't have enough power to seal it like an imperfect thing.
"It will attract God at best."
"That's..."
"Yes, it's easier to unload God where that god thing is"
It was used in a temple dedicated to Alsam.
And it was only because there was a Marsene who was fit against God that Alsam could come down to this world.
"What if I use it again..."
"There will be a high probability of success."
Tishua couldn't laugh and watch either, as she had done earlier.
That means there's a good chance of success.
"Of course it's a story if Marsene goes. Except for her - there's no way the priests in this room can succeed where they did the sublimation."
Let Tishua say, there is no faith in the executives, starting with the chief clergyman, and he only thinks of winding up money from the faithful.
Even for witches and clerics who work in the temple, they did not undergo the kind of rigorous training that was taking place in the Kingdom of Memphis just because they were clerically praying.
Because of that, they don't have enough aptitude to bring down God.
"What will she choose after that?"
Tishua decided to watch like a goddess.
Eventually, the priests welcome him as the altar is ready.
"Come on, pray"
Clerical chief to refrain from the left and right of the altar.
They thought Marsene was serious about unloading God.
The reason lies with her family. If Marsene refuses their request because she was receiving a great deal of assistance from the Temple, she intends to refuse the assistance. Of course, that couldn't be the end of it. I was going to squeeze out many times the amount of money I'd ever lent.
"It's okay."
I knew this would happen before I came to the capital.
"Her stray is clear"
Marsene pokes her knees in front of the altar and prays.
Only time passes without anything happening as the people around them watch.
One minute... two minutes... five minutes... ten minutes...
"Hey, isn't nothing going to happen!
A cleric who was close to the clergyman who cut the paralysis approaches.
- Gin!
One step, a small ring pierces the foot of the cleric who came forward.
"Please shut up"
Quiet, then Noel tells you in an angry voice.
She knew I had spent as a 'witch' since I was a young girl.
"It's almost over"
Immediately after the word, the statue of Altham, which was in the temple, shines forth.
"Oh......!
Everyone leaks their voice from surprise.
Clerical chiefs and executives who had seen the sight before expected the same to happen in the future.
The power of God dwells and moves in the statue.
That's how I expected it.
But...
"Why, it doesn't work!?
The statue never moved.
And the brilliance has been lost at some point.
"After all, it seemed like a failure"
One cleric shrugged.
The clerics are frightened, and the executives are trembling in anger.
Everyone assumes it's a failure.
If those in this room had a strong faith, they would have found out that they had not failed.
"It's good."
says Marsene as she stands up.
But the voice is low, though similar to what Marsene was emitting.
It's like a man talking in Marsene's throat.
"Apparently, you have succeeded successfully in descending - the temple by 'The Witch'"
Tishua smiles in full when she sees Marsene.
There were many things, but Marsene was also equal to her daughter to Tishua, a witch - a goddess - who originally served Tishua.
That's why I regretted the sins of the past and wanted to forgive them when I saw them reflecting.
So I dedicated only one piece of advice.
"I can't make you my 'witch'. You who betrayed 'The Witch' don't deserve that, and you don't deserve to name me God now. So..."
- Be the 'witch' of the hunting god Alsam.
