Lesson 9: The Unholy Adventurer of the Gardis Empire - Previous

Guildmaster Bordeaux.

Receptionist Remine.

Basdin the S-rank adventurer.

"Do you guys understand your situation?

Bordeaux, in a position to put the adventurers together, had a duty to defend Monston. But I wouldn't be guilty if I just suffered enough damage for a lord to escape and occupy a city. They haven't even told me to share my destiny with the city.

The same goes for Basdin, who has a duty to protect the country. It is all too harsh to be guilty despite the fact that we are just facing a situation in which the country will perish.

Still, I'm pretty sure they're stuck in a predicament.

Both have lost their positions.

"... of course. So, what can I do for you?

Bordeaux asks in a puzzling manner.

According to a story I had heard beforehand, Bordeaux was a former adventurer and was bought an arm and took up the position of guild master. Monston's Adventurer Guild, close by from the battlefield, was a late hire, though more demanding of strength than anything else.

For him like that, the situation was now beyond acceptable limits. Nothing could be done, and the knight took him to the tent as he was flown into the situation.

"Let me tell you why I came here."

"Purpose? Isn't that a battlefield inspection?"

"That's not such a superficial reason. I'm looking for someone, supposedly in the Gardis Empire. But there were limits to the information we could gather from outside the country."

Adventurer information is registered with the Adventurer Alliance.

However, an independent institution, the Adventurer Guild, was not allowed to disclose personal information even by order of the Emperor in the opponent.

"So I decided to infiltrate one of those adventurers who had the same purpose as me"

Three gaze at me in the corner of the tent.

"Adventurer Mars"

"Well, I've become famous for a long time."

"It's weirder not to know with someone involved in the Adventurer Alliance. A man who worked instantly despite being utterly anonymous until then. Apparently, he's not going to be an S-rank adventurer, and he's pulling into a limbo. And Emperor Glenvarga's Scarf"

Nothing. I'm not going to be one of Rio's men.

Still, if you haven't even been an S-rank adventurer on several occasions and you've received a request from Rio, you'll know it's a pretty familiar pattern.

"I was going to go out there and gather information. But I'm not sure about that either. So I need your help."

What we ask for is information about adventurers that we would not otherwise disclose.

Lüze and Onet, women of bowmen, who seem to be family members to the labyrinth lord I have ever met. Their combat skills are high and they can be expected to be closer to adventurers rather than soldiers or knights who are required to have uniform power because of the specificities of their equipment and combat abilities.

Besides, a free adventurer would be better suited if a labyrinth lord were to operate.

"It is likely that he is deeply involved in this disturbance as well"

The outburst of demons began abruptly.

No one on the side of the Gardis Empire could find out the details. I couldn't believe it even put on the killer's eye-catcher.

"You know what it's like to give adventurers information?

"Absolutely. But you'll be happy to pass on the information."

"Hmm, much licked..."

"Let's promise we'll have quite a few posts if we get useful information"

The three react freaking out.

"In the future, the Glenvarga Empire side of the Oneiros Plains will be pioneered as a base for the Gardis Empire offensive. There are so many demons roaring over there that they seem infinite. It could be a great hunting ground for adventurers if you even let them establish a way. You'd rather have an Adventurer's Guild here than take it to a nearby city."

"I guess so. Materials should be fresh."

"This place is also close to Monston. Then there will be a lot of similar requests, and I want someone who knows the know-how."

So I'm looking for Bordeaux.

Bordeaux, who served as Alliance Master in Monston for years, was exactly the man to hit and put on.

"Fine."

"What, Guildmaster?

"Hey, are you insane!

Left and right Remine and Basdin marvel at Bordeaux, who swallowed this request lightly.

"It's not that strange. I have a body that I worked out when I was young, so I can show majesty and follow young adventurers. But that's it. There's no way you can make money moving your body around like you're on active duty to me right now."

Just sell the info a little and you'll get it, Iss.

Besides, the guilt had disappeared from Bordeaux because he said he might be the one who tormented himself.

"If you can provide me with information, I'll give you preferential treatment. So, what do you two do?

If you're a receptionist, you have more opportunities in the field than a guild master.

If you're an S-rank adventurer, they brought you in thinking that if you have an adventurer in the country that's a strange rumor, you're likely to be hearing it.

It's a complete coincidence that Remine and Basdin are here. Remine was brought in because he was helping beside Bordeaux, and Basdin was accompanied to the Plains of Oneiros as an emperor's escort to be caught dispersed by Dosakusa and trying to escape as it were.

"Oh, um..."

"What?

"I don't need an important post or anything, so make sure I can live with my parents and brother in a peaceful city"

"Mr. Remine..."

"Guildmaster, thank you for your help so far. You've done a lot for me, but I have to protect my family."

It was uncomfortable that Remine, younger than us, was helping the Alliance Master.

However, the discomfort disappeared when he saw Bordeaux's face as he looked remorsefully at Remine, who had made the decision to leave. I don't know how far it was a relationship, but I guess it was in a mistress relationship with the Alliance Master that I was able to get to work.

"You really don't want it, do you?

"Yes."

"Then we'll have a place to live and a job"

In a later story, Remine and her family were given a home in Imperial Capital, and her work as a receptionist for the Adventurer's Guild in Imperial Capital was to be mediated.

I can't give orders because I'm an emperor. Still, the support needed to maintain the Adventurer Alliance has been given out of the country. If the support is reduced or eliminated, it is the guild that will be in trouble, so to the extent possible, accommodation can be effected. This time it was accepted because it was done with an introduction and good offices.

"Then why don't I ask your brother?"

Me?

"That's right. I could've made enough money by turning 35."

That said, I take out a number of leather bags filled with gold coins from my own storage ring.

At least a few hundred of them are likely.

"The money was hidden in case. I want you to let me hide somewhere. It would be helpful to be accommodated so that we can live in a quiet neighborhood"

"I don't mind that, but there's only so much I can do."

"No, I need your introduction"

I see Basdin's thoughts.

Imagine running away from here and you will definitely be criticized. So the goal is to guarantee his identity and his safety by introducing me.

Basdin realizes I'm an integral part of Alistair. If you imitate Basdin's deportation, you will scratch my name, so you will interfere with future activities. As long as there is a labyrinth, we can make money, but there is something called a worldly body.

"Fine. I'll work with you to make sure you have a place to live, and I'll introduce you to a good job."

Push your face closer together.

"Instead - be prepared to know what happens if you give the wrong information."

"Oh...!

Basdin sweats a daze of sweat.

I did it a little awesome, but it may have been hard on him a long time off the front line.

Well, when you didn't give me really busy information, I just send it to the labyrinth.

"These are the ones we're looking for."

Draw four people in the air with phantoms that you know are easy to understand.

……

"Only two people know their names: Lüze, Onet. I don't even know the name of the woman who deals with men and bows."

"I don't know."

Bordeaux tilting his neck.

After all, it couldn't have been easy to tell. Even if I use the Alliance as an adventurer, I may be using it to change my face and name.

It's hard to find in the current situation where you only know about your face...

"Hey, could a woman like Onet be a godforsaken adventurer woman who looked like a nobleman?

"Oh! You look like her indeed"

Apparently Bordeaux had no idea, but Remine and Basdin had an idea of Onet.
