Dungeons for the Devil, Dungeons for the Core (Book Version Title: A Different World Dungeon Made with the Devil)
Illustrated Edge Village Summer Festival
Summer festivals will be held in this world - fixed by Japanese time - on the night of July 7th. This summer festival was one of the pre-celebratory rituals that preceded the autumn harvest, and at the same time, it was a wish that you wouldn't get sick during the hot summer months.
Unlike the May festival, it is a one-night festival, and therefore there are no many stores. Not many, but the opening of stores to the extent that neighbors would look forward to - to the extent that locals, not textiles or pedestrians, sell snacks for pocket money - was often alongside the bump.
And this year's summer festival - the Edge Village summer festival to be precise - was awaited not only by nearby neighbors, but also by the territorial capital Elgin and, at the end of the day, by those living in other towns.
"Whatever you think, it would be awkward to get inside the village."
One day after the Summer Festival, it was Crowe who was in contact with the village chiefs.
As usual… or one of the villagers who was preparing for the summer festival with the same intentions as usual was fortunate to have thought about visitors to Fufu Village.
This villager, who had heard the noise at the May festival, went to the village chief's office to consult, anxious as to how many people would visit the village. Crowe didn't know what the summer festival was like in this village - last year at the summer festival, because Mr. Hobb and I were leaving each other to avoid trouble - but it was easy to imagine that if a guest arrived in the village with the same momentum as at the May festival, it would be difficult to clean up.
"Well... I don't know why I'm pushing you back..."
"If you do that, it's an immediate riot. We'll have to open a shop around the square in front of the village and stop there."
It's more of a mouthful than a festival prep. I'm planning a defense battle, but I'm not uncomfortable with anyone as a person. We all expected that a strong young man would be mobilized for security and staffing.
"The store will be wide enough and the responders won't be able to make it. Alternate personnel will also be included...... five to ten will be needed. Plus, the dye and accessory stores are going to be very crowded and stagnant if you don't install them far enough apart… and make the passage a one-way street."
In some cases, Crowe even thought about asking for the support of Elgin's sub-people (non-fumes), who would be used to organizing personnel.
"Then we also need to limit the number of purchases per person... I guess each one is really good..."
"Hey... Sora... Maybe it's hard."
"I think it would be... But if you don't keep a lot of them by three per person, they could sell out early, right?
"No way, that's it... there is... is there...?
"I hope not..."
To conclude, the stopping line built by the Crows somehow did its utmost.
Sometimes, unlike the May festival, the number of customers who pressed for just one day - not customers but buyers who came to see the villagers - was slightly lower, and because the crows had prepared a sufficient number in advance - at least that seemed to be the case - it was only possible to avoid the out-of-stock situation.
I was waiting in the village this year in case I didn't run away - Mr. Hobb was both lurking his breath in the mountain hut - it was Crowe, but somehow stroked his chest down knowing the riot was avoided. The merchants - as per the prior meeting - managed to gain nothing thanks to the village chief's successful presence. And...
"So, from next year onwards, only the May Festival, but you managed to convince me that you were going to open the store on a larger scale, right?
"Hmm... I don't want to get tired..."
"Good luck...... you all......"
I also speak to the sellers and personnel organizers who are quiet after the commercial war.
"I'm glad this year alone..."
"I don't want to see the guests for the time being..."
(Sounds like it's been a pretty good sale... what's this going to be about taxes?
It was Crowe who was anxious that the village chief might need to consult with the lord soon.
