Dungeons for the Devil, Dungeons for the Core (Book Version Title: A Different World Dungeon Made with the Devil)
Chapter 108: The Rock Cave of Disaster 7. Search Team - Theodoram - (Part 1)
In the conference room of the Royal Castle of the Kingdom of Theodoram, the Secretary of State discusses the situation of the "Rock Cave of Disaster".
"Three days after a foolish adventurer broke into the dungeon, there are still no reports of survival."
The Secretaries of State do not hide their reluctant expressions in the Secretary of State's report.
"Did you pull a soldier to lure Marcus in..."
"Marcus, don't even look at me."
Turning to the confused Secretaries of State, a question is raised which can be described as provocative by Sir Laxman Agriculture.
"Are the lords going to keep staring at each other like this?
"Sir Laxman?
"You think there's anything I can do?
There's nothing more to it than being handy.
Once the words have been cut off, Sir Laxman Agriculture continues his words by looking around at the Secretary of State.
"I don't think it's natural for a country to move for rescue more than a good people in distress."
"Theodoram soldiers breaking in?
'Yes, it just doesn't seem like the purpose of this one is an offense'
Five days after the reckless dungeon attack of the low-level adventurer, Crowe had received reports of Theodoram soldiers breaking into the dungeon.
"Hmm... Looking at the gear, it looks like a search or rescue..."
Are you rescuing the adventurers who broke in the other day?... No, not a country that thinks about such a special victory. Search and rescue are predetermined. The real deal is...
"An exploration in the name of the search for and rescue of missing persons, and a provocation against Marcus..."
'Taunt......?
"I don't know if provocation is appropriate, but the goal would be to rush Marcus' army into the dungeon."
"... what do you mean?
"It's just an imagination, isn't it? Attack Marcus by referring to Marcus' invasion of the dungeon as an invasion of Theodoram territory - if you follow Theodoram's claims - and strike back. This is the one thing... I just think these eyes are low myself '
'Master Crowe, why is that?
'Cause it's hard to believe that Theodoram, already in a one-touch situation with Morvania, will open a new battlefield with Marcus.'
"I see... there's more to it than one, isn't there?
'Ah. Another thing I can think of is an experimental bench for a dungeon attack... or maybe you're thinking about letting Marcus do the data collection'
As far as I'm concerned, I suspect this one is destiny...
"Experimental bench.........?
"Well, why don't you be honest with Marcus about what you found out?
'But I know how much damage has been done. The point is, it's a guinea pig for hazard determination. "
"Um... what do you mean?
'Seriously searching for a missing person... or you won't be willing to go in the back. Wandering the shallow range and only buying time.'
'Will Marcus... be in the dungeon...?
'Well. However, Marcus is the same person who can't see Theodoram's dungeon invasion as a security superior. The only difference is whether or not there's a big name in the dungeon.'
In fact, when Kerr checks, it seems that Theodrum soldiers are conducting extensive searches in such a way as to move the bridgehead forward a little bit. It is consistent with the procedure for searching for missing persons, where there are no footprints or anything else left. It's just... because those idiots went in without thinking about it later...
'Master Crowe, what do you want to do?
If the caught Marcus would break into the dungeon, he might be able to do a decent performance assessment test. But it's not funny that Theodoram can look inside the dungeon for that either. Crowe, who often thought about it, now concluded that dealing with theodrum was more important than evaluating the dungeon's performance.
'This pace is going to take some time... it's not funny to just be informed about the dungeon.... Kerr, can you carry the two bodies a little more in front of you and direct the search party there? If I close the branch of the aisle, I think I can lead you to the body on the main road...?
'No problem. Leave it to me, Master Crowe.'
