Dungeons for the Devil, Dungeons for the Core (Book Version Title: A Different World Dungeon Made with the Devil)

Chapter 109: The Rock Cave of Disaster 4. Search Team - Marcus - (Part 2)

A row down the spiral staircase ran into the exposed head of the yellow iron ore ahead.

"According to my last report, this isn't gold, is it?

"Oh. 'Gold of the Fool'... it must have been a yellow iron mine"

One of the soldiers checked it out and assured me it was definitely a yellow iron mine.

"Then should we move on than tease this guy?

Adventurers confirming the intentions of their sponsor, the Kingdom of Marcus, just in case.

"Oh, that's good. Iron Ore is very important, but this time it's an instruction to prioritize exploration."

"Got it. Let's move on."

A small footsteps were heard at that time in a row of ears that decided to go down the aisle.

"All alert!

Adventurer party leader entrusted with the leadership of the "search party" shouts in a low voice. Eventually, a small golem with a crane mouth comes across a line and turns right and escapes, a sight like the one seen somewhere. But the sights as seen were so far apart, from which the actions ahead differed from those of the Theodoram adventurers. Following the leader's signal, his party members follow the golem silently.

"You guys stay here and build a base. It was Moz, or I push for trouble, but I need protection."

Ask the solo adventurer to do so, and the leader follows his people.

"So, are you okay...?

"You don't have time to worry about other people, do you? We need to build a base, but before we do that, we need to make sure we're clear."

Following the instructions of an adventurer known as Moz, the prostitutes worked to confirm safety and build a base.

The leader, who followed the party members, met one of his companions in the part where the aisle branched out.

"Which one, Dhaka?

A leader whose passage was followed by the Golem and his companions with few words.

"Left. And there are only two things I can see here, but there may be other hidden passages... just a reminder."

"You can't ignore that. I need you to secure this place."

"Got it. Take care of yourself."

With about three more repetitions of the same kind, the lone leader follows the signs of the golem as it were, but eventually stops tracking where he comes across a new branch. There are three branches this time. Apparently the passage through which the Golem ran is at the right end.

The leader's man - named Carm - looks around and sees if there are any other hidden passages, etc. Go back and draw a simple map with that as your starting point.

"You've been walking through the corridors of the brighter..."

Then what is hidden in the darker passage? Carm was going to make sure of that.

'Next time they're cautious. Or maybe the Theodoram adventurer was too stupid......'

"This is going to take some good data... will it take some time to make progress?

'Well, that's not a big deal. More than that, it was unexpected to notice the existence of a hidden passage.'

'What shall we do?

"The purpose of this one is to evaluate the performance of the dungeon. I can't run a dungeon without knowing the proper level of adventurers. In the meantime, let's keep going '

"I understand, Master Crowe."
