Dungeons for the Devil, Dungeons for the Core (Book Version Title: A Different World Dungeon Made with the Devil)
Chapter 114: The Rock Cave of Disaster 1. Marcus
The concerns of deputy general Fiddle - and his analysis of deputies - brought about with the regular reports of the Border Surveillance Unit were sufficient to stir up a sense of crisis in upper Marcus.
"Theodoram is convinced of some existence he doesn't want to give to my Marcus, and he's moving to name the country to secure and monopolize it."
Even though I didn't show one thing for sure, no, because I didn't, the importance of this hypothesis - for better or for worse - was too big to smile at. If you do it badly, the fate of a country will be at stake.
"... I still think it's awkward (first) to ignore it like this"
"I know you're awkward (first). So we're talking about what to do."
Leaving is awkward (first) to one who complains, the other who says it back with a look that chewed up the bitter bug. The other state nobles who live side by side also keep silence as to whether good wisdom does not float.
"But… even if we try to reach a conclusion, we don't have any data for it at all…"
"That's why if we arch our hands, we'll go completely backwards, right?
"Worst case scenario, after Theodoram gets it all, it turns out..."
"Stop. I don't even want to imagine."
What troubles the secretaries of state is Theodoram's puzzling behaviour, and the hypothesis put forward by the Border Surveillance Unit about it. It's too dangerous to ignore both. Nonetheless, reckless behavior at a stage where circumstances are not known can at once exacerbate relations with Theodoram, even in a state of tension, and even lead to outbursts.
"Can't we explore what the Theodoram guys are thinking?
"Unfortunately, not many spies are letting us infiltrate that country. We can't run out of them here, and most importantly, no one has eaten them inside the royal castle."
"Besides... you can relax and wait for a reply. Eight days after Theodoram put his back in, he's already over the maximum number of days that that adventurer has worked in the dungeon. I don't know when I'll discover what I'm looking for."
It's already been two hours since this Oda (Ooh) Hara (Straw) review started. All the faces of the secretary of state in line are colored with sinking pain... no, they are taken from the neighborhood. One of them, paralyzed by the rhythm, cut the fire so that he could no longer give up.
"How long are you going to keep going on a grand tour that won't be foolish? Now you should choose awkward speed over craftiness. Our country should also send soldiers inside the dungeon."
"But... wouldn't that inspire theodrum?
"What do you say that is? Wasn't it Theodoram who sent the soldiers in the first place? Even if our country did the same thing, it wouldn't be blamed."
"Right... even if Theodoram bent the knob, it wouldn't be an immediate declaration of war. I'm more afraid of being late now than I am."
"What the hell is in that dungeon...?
"And how did Theodoram find out about it...?
"Let's hope we get that answer."
