Elgin, the territorial capital of the Baron Elgin territory. Because generations of lords were sub moderates, it is known that sub people (non-fumes) often reside and visit. Due to its small size as a town, the total number of sub-people entering and leaving (non-fumes) would not extend to large cities such as Saurand and Banks, but a town with high sub-people (non-fumes) activity would probably outnumber those large cities in terms of population ratios. And the town where the secretariat of the "Asians (Non-Hume) Liaison Conference" is secretly set up.

Rumors have been secretly circulating among the subhumans (non-fumes) gathering in the town of Elgin. It is a rumor about refrigerators (ice boxes). However, the manner in which the rumors were circulated was somewhat confusing. It was passed on secretly and separately within their respective species, such as elves, dwarves, and beasts.

The first signs were seen by the Dwarves. Although the number of dwarves entering and leaving the town of Elgin is by no means high, rumors of refrigerators (ice boxes) came secretly between them. Their secrecy was thorough because things involved booze - or the supreme purpose of drinking a chilled beer -. The table never touched on the topic, basically only at home, and only with the same dwarf was the topic brought up. While it was unclear why he would be so secretive, he continued to cloud his words by pretending to be unfamiliar, even if he was directed by other races to lure water.

The reason is simply that the development of refrigerators (ice boxes), in which liquor guilds are at the centre, has been kept secret - at least that's how the kingdom has instructed us to do so - so that we were wary - to the extent excessive - that this matter would leak outside due to our own carelessness and, as a result, cease development. Somehow the refrigerators (ice boxes) were thorough enough to avoid anything that would hinder their development, a technology that was essential for them to get a "cold beer" that Dwarves wouldn't stop hoping for.

At least there was no leakage of the rumor - from Dwarves - to humans due to the strict confidentiality regime of S (Kaku).

However, there were also a number of species in the town of Elgin that were not comparable to humans and others that were more earful. It is the beasts. No matter how hard you try to keep your silence, the basic dwarf thing is loud. It was completely inevitable that content spoken at home or elsewhere would leak out, and that fragments of those conversations could not be avoided by the deafening beasts. As a result, rumors about the refrigerator (ice box) came to the knowledge of the beasts in almost complete form… The beasts never shut up about the Dwarves (boobs), though.

Last but not least elves, thank goodness they seem to have found out about this rumor on a different route, but they were still keeping silence.

Dear Si (or), each of them was silent, but they were of no less profound interest than the refrigerator (ice box).

("… hey gut, did you find anything on the refrigerator (ice box)?")

It is the Adventurers of the Beasts who gather here in the corner of the Elgin Tavern to speak in secret.

("Something... or... I hear the liquor guild tested the refrigerator, you know?")

("Oh... well, I know?")

("Well, they're a little behind schedule. At the convenience of an elf who cooperates in the exam. I heard that Dwarf tightened up the elf saying why he didn't prioritize the exam")

("... but that's...")

("Oh, that elf would have had something of his own convenience")

("So? What are the test results?")

("Upper. I hear the kingdom side also gave a go sign...... so here's the important thing from here. They made it conditional on the development of a portable (...) refrigerator (ice box) that soldiers could carry")

("Portable!?")

("I knew there was!")

("Calm down! Keep quiet!")

Let me explain the situation a little bit.

The liquor guild, which gained a positive impression from the performance evaluation test of the refrigerator (ice box), immediately determines the enlarged prototype of the refrigerator. Two types of mass production plans were developed: small for general use and large for business use, and the plan was submitted to the Kingdom. The Kingdom expressed its satisfaction with the results of the test, tolerating two prototypes proposed by the Liquor Alliance, but at the same time demanded that another new type be prototyped, namely the transportable type that could be operated by the army's i) heavy units. Once these contents were supposed to be secret, the obsession-burning dwarves - where and how - had accurate access to those information. And by listening to the conversations of the dwarves, who spoke of the information in a somewhat exciting way, the beasts also had the information.

("But... is that type only military? Aren't they coming around for us?")

("No... unless you don't have any civilian use at all, but they've already approved general and business use. This portable type may also flow for civilian use")

("Oh well...")

("I want it to be practical as soon as possible...")

("Uhm. I've had to throw away the meat before, because I'll be able to bring it back")

For those in adventurer operation, the lack of the means to bring back the meat of the crusaded monsters was a considerable disadvantage.

It was known that there was storage magic in space magic, and that with that magic, large quantities of materials could be transported without deterioration in quality. However, the bearer of that magic is only enough to count within the kingdom, and the magic props with similar effects not only cause the eyeballs to pop up - they also go somewhere with the mention that the flying eyeballs rolled up - they were expensive enough.

As a result, much of the meat of the monsters crusaded by the adventurers had been abandoned without being brought back because of scratches during transport. To put it another way, the adventurers had to throw away the golden-eyed part.

But it was the rumored refrigerator (ice box) that could turn the situation upside down. To be honest, the beasts don't know how much that will cost and how big it is. However, I understand that it is better to keep it as a party accessory, even if it is somewhat expensive or large. In a way, I could say that it is the adventurers who most truly await the practical application of refrigerators (ice boxes).

There were those who could wait to sell refrigerators (ice boxes) without knowing Crowe, the Asians' Liaison Conference, the Brewery Guild, the Kingdom, and the Dwarves.

It was three days before Crowe added Rock Mountain to the Cave of Disaster to trigger new noise.
