He reached down towards it immediately.
It looked like a tower and yellow light hummed around it.
This was the Beacon for summoning the aliens, just like John Tutor had mentioned!
They actually found it and it was with the Demon King Malachar.
"Caelus!"
Just then, a familiar voice called out from nearby.
Elder Sterling descended from the sky with spatial energy swirling around him, his expression urgent but relieved.
"I came a day early after hearing what happened in Italy," he explained while taking in the devastation around them. "It seems I arrived just in time."
Caelus smiled hearing this.
"Your timing is perfect, Elder Sterling."
At the same time, Caelus noticed that Elder Sterling was more powerful now.
"I managed to breach the ranks of Ace. I had given upon climbing the ranks ever since my wife died but the world needs powerful warriors, If I stay silent, things won’t be easy."
Caelus nodded hearing this.
"Let’s go. It seems like we need to do more thorough clean up." Elder Sterling glanced at the burning Rome.
Together with Sterling’s overwhelming power, they hunted down the remaining demons and corrupt Church members who had secretly allied with the Demonic Faction.
Sterling personally eliminated each traitor, his Ace Rank abilities making short work of their defenses.
By the time they finished, the sun had begun to set over the coastline.
The Church would need time to recover from this catastrophe, but the immediate threat had been neutralized.
Seraphin Lin was safe and the Beacon was secured.
With that, everyone retired to a safe place within Vatican.
Marcus was busy with organizing the Biblical Faction. The rest of the players that were part of the Biblical Faction were also coming over from abroad due to the incident with the demons. Right now, Marcus was the one leading it since the Pope had died.
All this time, they took this time to rest, and Caelus and Sylvia spoke with Seraphin Lin. She was surprisingly at Master Rank, and when they asked her about this, she said the guy fed her some corrupted murky liquid daily and she would get Combat Score and levels, sometimes even skills or attributes. She also mentioned that she had a spatial attribute with her now, and when asked about the Ascension Quest, she said she was fed a glitching stone.
Caelus was taken aback by this.
Could it be something with similar properties as the World Fragment that allowed one to skip the Ascension Quest?

Sylvia nodded in agreement.

Light consumed them as they entered the Origin Ascension Domain once more.
They appeared in Genesis City briefly before immediately setting out toward the Tier 2 Regional Lord Territory.
The conquest began the moment they stepped foot outside Genesis City.
Caelus and Sylvia moved like a storm across the Tier 2 Regional Lord Territory, their combined assault leaving no room for resistance.
The first city fell within minutes. Its defenders barely had time to raise their weapons before Telekinesis crushed their formations and the Crimson Sovereign tore through their ranks.
"That’s seventeen," Sylvia called out as they claimed victory.
"Thirty-three more to go."
They pushed deeper into the territory without rest. Each city they conquered added to their growing city, the population swelling with every successful siege.
The twentieth city surrendered without a fight after word spread about their overwhelming power. The city lord practically threw himself at their feet, begging to join Genesis rather than face destruction.
The entire Tier 2 Regional Lord Territory was just sitting at their city, not a single player entering the Origin Expanse because they were afraid that the duo would enter their city next.
By the thirtieth conquest, their reputation preceded them everywhere they went. Some cities opened their gates willingly, their leaders recognizing the futility of resistance.
The fortieth city required more effort, its Master Rank Combat Score defenders putting up genuine resistance.
But even they crumbled before the combined might of the Ancient Dragon God and the Crimson Sovereign.
When the fiftieth city finally fell, notifications ran across Sylvia’s vision.

Caelus accessed the selection interface and chose the Spirit Fairy Garden without hesitation. The Wonder materialized within Genesis City moments later, its ethereal beauty drawing gasps from nearby residents.
With everything in place, he gathered the city’s population for an announcement.
Hundreds of thousands of players and NPCs filled the central plaza, their eyes fixed on the platform where Caelus and Sylvia stood.
"I’m establishing my faction today. It is known as the Chaos Faction," Caelus declared, his voice carrying across the crowd. "And I want every single one of you to join. I won’t force anyone to join, but those who join will naturally be treated right."
Murmurs rippled through the masses.
"What’s in it for us?" someone shouted from the crowd.
Caelus smiled at the question.
"Fair enough. Let me tell you exactly what you’ll get."
He raised one finger.
"The moment you join, you’ll receive a permanent Combat Score boost between one and five points. Your aura gauge will also instantly rise to fifteen, meaning you will unlock Aura, which is a necessity for Fighting Spirits."
The murmurs grew louder, excitement spreading through the crowd.
"That’s just for joining?" Mason asked from nearby, his eyes wide.
"That’s just for joining," Caelus confirmed before raising a second finger.
"When you hit Level 20, you’ll unlock Aura Perception and gain access to Chaos Erosion. That’s a debuff that drains enemy HP, MP, and stamina while shredding their magical defenses."
The crowd erupted into excited chatter.
"You’ll also get the Chaos Soldier title at Level 20," he continued. "Ten percent bonus damage against anyone from rival factions."
He raised a third finger.
"This one is not confined to a level. But if you pick up a new profession, it’ll automatically scale to match your current rank. No grinding required."
"And finally," Caelus raised his fourth finger, "whenever you advance to a new rank, all your skill and trait cooldowns reset completely."
Silence fell over the plaza as everyone processed what they had just heard.
Then the applications flooded in.

The notifications came faster than Caelus could read them, thousands of requests pouring in every second.

The combined population of Genesis City was barely over 800,000. Even if every single person gave him Faith Power, the maximum should have been around that same number.
But 5.2 million?
"How is this possible?" he muttered.
