The light faded as Caelus materialized back inside Genesis.

Sylvia stood nearby, her silver hair catching the sunlight as she turned toward him with a warm smile.

"You passed it seems like." Caelus said with a smile.

He could sense her Elite Rank power.

"So did you, hubby," Sylvia replied with a satisfied grin.

Caelus walked toward her, feeling the new power flowing through his body.

Elite Rank felt different from Rookie, like a door had opened to reveal an entirely larger world.

"How was your trial?" he asked.

"The System said my greatest weakness was incomplete mastery over my Vampire Transformation and the Blood Moon Sword." Sylvia tilted her head thoughtfully before answering.

She shrugged casually as if describing a minor inconvenience.

"The trial forced me to push both abilities far beyond what I had ever attempted.

"The Blood Moon Sword has also changed," she continued with visible excitement. "Its usage level has increased to Level 50 now.

"But it still needs an Elite Rank Grade 1 Origin Ore before its rank can evolve to match ours."

Caelus nodded He could arrange that after getting back to his apartment. That way Sylvia will have a reliable weapon for herself instead of just relying on Blood Sword Constructs to fight.

He then checked his own weapon through the System interface.

The Ruyi Jingu Bang’s information had also updated.

[Ruyi Jingu Bang (Divine, Elite Rank)]

The fragment had successfully advanced alongside him, its power scaling to match his new rank.

"Still just a fragment," Caelus murmured. "Yet it already possesses this much potential."

He quietly wondered what the complete Ruyi Jingu Bang would truly be capable of.

Perhaps one day he would even meet Sun Wukong himself.

That thought felt less impossible now than it had before entering the Abyss.

Caelus looked toward the center of Genesis where the administrative buildings stood.

"It’s time," he said to Sylvia. "Time to ascend Genesis into Tier 2 Regional Lord Territory."

Sylvia smiled brightly and nodded in agreement.

Mason had also returned back to the town with his family. He knew after these two came back, the Town will reach Tier 2 Regional Lord Territory, hence he made his family enter the town before it was too late.

Once they reached that place, they can never come back to Tier 1 Regional Lord Territory.

Sylvia accessed the City Management interface and selected the advancement option.

[Town Rank Advancement initiated.]

[Preparing transportation to Tier 2 Regional Lord Territory.]

[All residents will be transported alongside the Town.]

[This process is irreversible.]

[Confirm?]

Sylvia pressed confirm without hesitation.

The entire city began trembling.

The sky above Genesis distorted as massive spatial cracks spread across the sky like shattered glass.

A brilliant light engulfed everything, buildings and streets and people all consumed by the transportation phenomenon.

Genesis disappeared from Tier 1 Regional Lord Territory the next moment, never to come back here again.

The light faded as quickly as it had appeared.

Genesis materialized in an entirely different location, the ground settling with a deep rumble that echoed throughout the city.

Everyone immediately felt the difference.

The air itself seemed denser.

[Ding!]

[Genesis has successfully entered Tier 2 Regional Lord Territory.]

[You may no longer enter Tier 1 Regional Lord Territory.]

[This restriction is permanent.]

[Genesis has officially evolved from Town to City.]

[Welcome to Genesis City.]

Caelus and Sylvia immediately climbed onto the city walls to survey their new surroundings.

What they saw completely changed their perspective.

Instead of empty wilderness stretching toward the horizon, endless cities filled the landscape in every direction.

Some were enormous metropolises that dwarfed Genesis entirely, their towers reaching toward the sky like the fingers of giants.

Others were clearly newly ascended, their walls still fresh and their populations still adjusting to the transition.

Nearby, another city finished materializing in a flash of brilliant light.

Another civilization had successfully ascended almost simultaneously with Genesis.

The sheer scale was overwhelming.

Tier 1 had been merely a beginner’s playground, a sheltered space where new players could grow without facing true competition.

Tier 2 was where the real game began.

Countless factions, guilds, countries and organizations all competing for resources, territory and dominance.

Caelus quietly absorbed the sight before allowing a small smile to cross his face.

He turned toward Sylvia.

"Now that we’re finally here, it’s time to put our Chaos faction into motion."

Sylvia nodded, her crimson eyes sparkling with anticipation.

........

In Earth, inside the Shadow Halberd Guild Headquarters In Manhattan, the atmosphere was suffocating.

Silas Vance sat behind his desk with a dark expression, his fingers drumming against the wooden surface in agitation.

Across from him sat the Crimson Fang Guild Leader, Dominic Thorne, whose scarred face carried barely concealed fury.

"Our reputations are ruined," Silas said bitterly. "Members have already started leaving, some have even defected to smaller guilds just to escape association with us."

"Reign and Garrett were supposed to be unstoppable together, how did two newcomers defeat them so completely?"

Neither man had an answer.

The livestream footage had spread across every platform within hours, their humiliating defeat replayed millions of times by viewers who mocked their arrogance.

"Caelus Kross must die," Silas declared coldly. "Permanently at that. I will make sure to kill his entire bloodline so that he won’t be a throne to us anymore."

Before Dominic could respond, the room suddenly became unnaturally quiet.

The lights flickered once, twice, then dimmed to almost nothing.

An ominous presence filled the space.

A hooded figure slowly walked through the doorway that made both Guild Leaders instinctively rise from their seats.

They immediately bowed their heads respectfully.

"Demon King Malazkar," Silas greeted with forced calm.

The figure slowly removed his hood.

What lay beneath was distinctly inhuman.

Curved horns spiraled backward from his temples, their surface etched with glowing crimson runes.

His skin was pale grey with darker patches that resembled ancient scarring, and his eyes burned with deep amber flames that flickered with every movement.

Sharp teeth gleamed behind thin lips that curved into an unsettling smile.

Malazkar studied both men with amusement.

"Killing that child right now is not the smartest move," he said, his voice carrying an otherworldly feel.

Silas frowned. He couldn’t agree with that.

"He humiliated us, destroyed our reputation, and—"

"And then what? drew attention?" Malazkar interrupted. "Since the Hollow Beast’s Awakening in this world, numerous mythical factions have begun revealing themselves throughout America, ancient organizations are moving once more."

"Humanity is entering an entirely new era, and the Demonic Order will deal with Caelus Kross when the time is right. Don’t worry about him."

"However, I must remind you of our agreement."

Silas and Dominic exchanged uncomfortable glances hearing this.

"I still require children as sacrifices," Malazkar continued calmly. "Only then will I continue supporting your organizations."

Malazkar’s expression then shifted to mild annoyance.

"On that note, tell me, why haven’t you dealt with the Golden Light Guild yet?"

"Dickinson continues interfering with our operations, his people hunt our kin constantly."

"Because of Golden Light Guild, demons cannot move freely without being tracked,"

Malazkar’s eyes narrowed.

"They serve the Biblical Faction, their very existence threatens the Demonic Order’s plans, I want them eradicated."

"Our reputation inside Earth has collapsed completely," Silas explained with some hesitation. "We currently lack the influence to openly wage war against an organization of their standing."

Malazkar laughed hearing this.

"Since your reputation is already ruined, then you have nothing left to lose."

He leaned forward with an evil smile.

"Serve me faithfully, and once the New World fully begins, both of you and your guilds will have a place within it."

Whether this was truth or manipulation remained unclear.

But neither Guild Leader was in any position to refuse.

"Fine."

....

Back in Genesis City, Caelus stood quietly overlooking the transformed settlement.

Everything was progressing according to plan.

Then the Origin Network sent several new notifications.

Caelus scanned through them quickly until one particular notification caught his attention.

His eyes narrowed slightly.

"Oh? Wonder of the World and what is this?"
