Chapter 326: Tower Of Fire Tyrant

Mason stopped in front of them and bent over slightly, catching his breath before looking up.

"Sir Caelus, the barrier between the Origin Expanse and the Regional Lord Territory has dimmed!"

"Monsters have started rushing into Genesis City. Some of them are even at Master Rank!"

Sylvia’s eyes widened hearing this.

Master Rank Monsters?

Was this not Tier 2 Regional Lord Territory?

How come there was Master Rank Monsters here?

"Does this happen often?" Caelus asked with a frown.

Mason nodded while wiping sweat from his forehead.

"The barrier weakening happens sometimes, but this is the first time Master Rank monsters have sneaked through. Usually it’s just Elite Rank creatures in Tier 2 Regional Lord Territory."

Caelus let out a small laugh despite the situation.

"There’s always a first for everything I guess."

Without another word, he shot into the sky.

BOOM!

A sonic boom erupted behind him as he tore through the air, the shockwave rattling nearby windows and sending dust swirling across the streets.

From above, he could see the chaos spreading through Genesis City.

Dozens of fire-type monsters poured through cracks in the barrier, their bodies glowing with volcanic energy as they attacked anything in sight.

Players scrambled to defend themselves while NPCs fled toward the residential districts.

Caelus raised both hands and activated Telekinesis at full power.

Gravity zones materialized across the city, invisible spheres of crushing force that trapped monsters mid-charge.

One zone appeared near the eastern gate, catching a group of Lava Hounds.

Another formed above the market district, suspending a massive Fire Serpent in the air.

A third materialized near the training grounds, trapping two Master Rank Infernal Wolves.

Then he clenched his fists.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The gravity zones exploded one after another, the contained pressure releasing with devastating force.

Monsters disintegrated instantly within each sphere, their bodies unable to withstand the sudden compression.

Golden particles scattered across the city as dozens of creatures died simultaneously.

Sylvia moved through the streets below, the Blood Swords from Sanguine Genesis carving through any monster that escaped Caelus’s zones.

The Crimson Sovereign manifested behind her, its massive claws sweeping aside Lava Hounds like they were made of paper.

Within minutes, the siege ended completely.

[You have eliminated multiple Master Rank Monsters.]

[+120 EXP]

[Level: 1 (120/200)]

The experience wasn’t significant given their current level, but every bit helped.

Caelus landed beside Sylvia as the last monster fell, his expression thoughtful as he surveyed the aftermath.

"We need better defenses," he said.

Sylvia nodded in agreement.

Mason ran over to them, relief evident on his face seeing the crisis resolved.

Caelus turned to him with a serious look.

"Mason with this done, I need you to handle the mining operations in the Origin Ore Vein. Starting now, you’ll be dealing with Elite Grade Ores at Grade 5."

"I already talked it out with Elder Sterling."

Mason straightened his posture and nodded.

"Yes, Sir. I won’t let you down."

But then his expression became troubled.

"However, we don’t have many miners at Elite Rank. Most of our workforce is still at Rookie level."

Hearing this, Caelus sighed helplessly.

Of course there would be more problems.

Having an Origin Ore Vein was worthless if they couldn’t actually mine it properly.

Mason suddenly perked up as though remembering something important.

"Actually, Sir, I’ve heard some interesting news recently. A new tower has opened up in the Regional Lord Territory, and people have been going there for immense rewards. I also heard one of the reward is a Transcendent Grade Profession EXP Card."

Caelus raised an eyebrow.

"A tower?"

"Yes! Each floor you climb apparently gives some sort of reward," Mason explained excitedly. "Players here have been talking about it non-stop. It came out while you were absent yesterday."

Caelus and Sylvia didn’t enter yesterday because they were attending the auction which was at night.

Just then, a system notification appeared before everyone’s eyes.

[Domain Event Triggered!]

[The Tower of Fire Tyrant has opened in the Regional Lord Territory.]

[All players are welcome to enter for immense rewards.]

[Tower resets every 24 hours.]

Caelus and Sylvia exchanged glances, both of their eyes lighting up with interest.

A tower filled with rewards?

"Let’s go," Caelus said immediately.

They rushed out of the Genesis City and ran into the Regional Lord Territory, traveling through the land with immense speed.

After a while, they finally reached their destination.

The Tower of Fire Tyrant stood tall in the distance, its obsidian structure covered in glowing crimson runes that pulsed like a heartbeat.

Flames constantly flickered around its peak, and the heat radiating from it was noticeable even from far away.

Hundreds of players had already gathered at the entrance, some entering while others discussed strategies outside.

"Caelus!"

A familiar voice called out from the crowd.

Freya waved enthusiastically while running toward them, her hair bouncing with each step.

Lunari followed close behind with a warm smile.

"You’re here too!" Freya exclaimed happily.

"It’s so strange being in the Domain while sitting inside a plane," Lunari commented with a light laugh. "My body is thousands of meters in the air, but my consciousness is here."

Caelus chuckled at her words.

"Well, let’s forget about that for now. this is a Domain Event we need to focus on this first. Let’s go in and reap some rewards."

Both girls nodded eagerly.

The four of them approached the tower entrance together, but the system immediately separated them into pairs upon entry.

[Party Detected: Caelus Kross & Sylvia Reign]

[Entering Floor One.]

Light consumed their vision.

When Caelus opened his eyes, he found himself standing in a massive circular arena surrounded by walls of flowing lava.

Sylvia appeared beside him a moment later, her hand already resting on her sword.

A deep roar echoed through the chamber.

[Floor One Boss: Volcanic Flame Beast]

[Rank: Master]

A massive creature emerged from the lava pools ahead, its body covered in molten rock and flames.

It stood on four legs with claws that glowed white-hot, and its eyes burned with primal fury.

"Master Rank already?" Sylvia sounded surprised.

Caelus smiled.

"I guess it’s based off our ranks."

"But that’s fine with me. I like challenge, after all."

The Volcanic Flame Beast charged without warning, its massive body moving faster than expected.

Caelus activated Telekinesis and redirected its momentum, sending the creature crashing into the arena wall.

CRASH!

Molten debris scattered everywhere.

Before the beast could recover, Sylvia was already upon it.

The Blood Moon Sword carved through its hide as lightning crackled along the blade, each strike leaving deep wounds that couldn’t regenerate fast enough.

The Crimson Sovereign manifested and slammed both claws into the beast’s back, pinning it to the ground.

Caelus followed up immediately.

The Ancient Dragon God appeared behind him, its golden form radiating overwhelming pressure.

"Finish it."

The Fighting Spirit’s massive arm transformed into a spear and pierced directly through the Volcanic Flame Beast’s core.

The creature let out one final roar before exploding into golden particles.

[Floor One Cleared!]

[Extraction Attempted... Failed.]

[No reward obtained from target.]

Caelus clicked his tongue seeing the failed extraction.

It seems like these monsters were just projections.

Just then, a treasure chest materialized in the center of the arena, its surface covered in golden runes.

[Reward Chest Unlocked!]

[Choose One:]

[Option A: Mind Power Increment Card (Rare)]

[Option B: Skill Cooldown Reduction Token (Epic)]

Caelus studied the options carefully.

His Mind Power was currently at 200, which was significantly lower than his HP and CA stats that had both been doubled by his Chaos Dragon Body.

"Mind Power has been lagging behind," he muttered thoughtfully. "My HP and CA are both above 280, but Mind Power hasn’t caught up at all."

But in the end, he didn’t have to be a chooser.

He grinned and immediately extracted the treasure chest, getting both of them.

He pocketed the Skill Cooldown Reduction Card, system notifications rang out.

[Mind Power Increment Card obtained!]

[+10 Mind Power]

[Current Mind Power: 200 → 210]

The boost was immediate and noticeable, his mental clarity sharpening considerably.

Sylvia chose the Mind Power for herself, the item disappearing into her inventory.

[Proceeding to Floor Two.]

Light consumed them again.

The second floor had a similar layout but felt noticeably hotter, the lava flowing faster and more aggressively around the arena edges.

They defeated the guardian quickly, another Master Rank beast that couldn’t withstand their combined assault.

Another chest appeared.

[Reward Chest Unlocked!]

[Choose One:]

[Option A: Profession EXP Increment Card (Transcendent)]

[Option B: Monster Core Bundle (Rare) (×50)]

Caelus’s eyes lit up seeing the first option.

"Profession EXP Increment Card, It’s finally here."

He immediately extracted the chest, obtaining both rewards.

[Profession Rank Increment Card (Transcendent) obtained!]

[Effect: Directly increases any profession by one full rank. Maximum two uses per profession.]

Seeing this, an idea suddenly struck him.

He opened his inventory and activated the Gacha Wheel, placing the Profession EXP Increment Card inside.

The wheel spun rapidly, colors blurring together as it rotated.

It slowed down gradually before landing on the golden section.

[×10 Rebate!]

[Profession EXP Increment Card (Transcendent) ×10 obtained!]

Caelus’s grin stretched wide.

"Ten cards! I can give these to the miners and level up their professions!"

Sylvia laughed seeing his excitement.

"The Gacha Wheel really is overpowered."

[Proceeding to Floor Three.]

The third floor proved more challenging, but they adapted quickly and claimed victory.

The reward chest this time contained something even better.

[Choose One:]

[Option A: Profession Rank Increment Card (Transcendent)]

[Option B: Monster Core Bundle (Apex) (×50)]

Caelus didn’t even hesitate. He claimed the Monster Core Bundle and placed the Profession Rank Increment Card in the Gacha Wheel.

Whoosh!

The wheel spun again, anticipation building with each rotation.

[×5 Rebate!]

[Profession Rank Increment Card (Transcendent) ×5 obtained!]

"Only five this time, but that’s more than enough," Caelus said with satisfaction.

These cards were incredibly valuable, each one could help someone break into an entire tier higher than their current rank.

"I can use also two on my Blacksmith profession," he calculated aloud. "That would push it straight to Master Rank."

Sylvia nodded approvingly.

[Proceeding to Final Floor.]

The fourth floor felt completely different from the previous three, the temperature reaching unbearable levels as they materialized inside.

A massive throne sat at the far end of the chamber, and upon it rested the final boss.

[Final Boss: Fire Tyrant Lord]

The creature rose from its throne, its body towering over them at nearly ten meters tall.

Flames constantly swirled around its form, and the pressure it released made the air itself tremble.

"This one’s stronger," Sylvia observed.

"Good," Caelus replied. "Let’s end this quickly."

They charged together.

The battle was intense but decisive, their coordination overwhelmed the Fire Tyrant Lord despite its superior raw power.

The Ancient Dragon God clashed repeatedly with the boss while Sylvia exploited every opening.

Finally, Caelus delivered the finishing blow.

The Fire Tyrant Lord collapsed and dissolved into particles of light.

[Tower of Fire Tyrant Cleared!]
