"A Final Boss?" Caelus chuckled at her words.

Yeah, that sounded about right.

Caelus then looked at Freya with a thoughtful expression.

"Isn’t it time for you to awaken your race transformations as well, Freya?"

She was of the Spirit Race, one of the most powerful races in existence and she was specifically the creator of that race. The Ender Of Life was the Spirit to put it simply.

But Freya had made no effort to unlock a transformation or her racial abilities. Part of it was due to not having enough SSS-Rank Awakening Skills, but that wasn’t the whole story.

"I don’t know, Big Brother," Freya said hesitantly, her cheerful demeanor fading slightly. "I don’t want to awaken those transformations. I don’t want to cause needless war."

Caelus fell silent after hearing this.

Usually, Enders loved causing wars and were violent by nature. That was how he understood them from everything he had learned.

But Freya was the complete opposite. She was deliberately holding herself back because she didn’t want to participate in conflict.

He respected that.

Perhaps she was like this because she was being influenced by him? It was possible, given how much time they spent together.

"Well, staying weak won’t cut it, will it?" Caelus asked with a sigh. "I will help you get stronger, and whether you want to use that power or not is completely your choice."

He met her eyes with sincerity.

"I will also protect you from the other Enders."

Freya’s eyes widened in shock, and then she swiftly wrapped her arms around him.

"Thank you, Big Brother."

She pulled back slightly, her expression turning nostalgic.

"The previous Ender of Life also gave me a choice and told me to live my life how I wanted to. He also told me to protect you and be with you."

"Alright." Caelus patted her head gently. "It’s almost time to go back."

He glanced toward the edge of the Spirit Fairy Garden.

"If you guys are done sightseeing in Tokyo, come back to America."

Freya nodded at this.

Caelus and Sylvia had left hurriedly to meet Selena, so the rest of their group was still in Tokyo.

But now, it was time to return.

The notification for the domain closing rang out moments later, and golden light consumed his vision as he was teleported back to the real world.

Before leaving, he assigned Mason to accompany Freya and the others. They would bring him to America together.

Mason had also insisted on delivering the spatial rings containing the ore to Elder Sterling all by himself. Caelus didn’t mind that. This will act as a way for him to get used to the real world.

Caelus opened his eyes in the Manhattan apartment where Sylvia and Selena lived.

As soon as he came to, he checked his phone and saw a few messages from Sylvia.

[Sylvia: Hubby, we found something unusual while going inside the gates. I’m going to check it out. I’ll be back before lunch.]

[Sylvia: Also, if I’m not wrong, these gates here must be created by the Dungeon Master profession. That means that profession does exist in this world.]

Seeing this, Caelus raised an eyebrow.

He knew Dungeon master Profession existed as the logic of the Origin Ascension Network remained the same no matter what the world was.

But what concerned him more was the unusual dungeon mentioned by Sylvia.

He then heard movement in the kitchen, the soft clatter of plates and the sizzle of something cooking.

He walked toward the sound and saw Selena making breakfast.

His eyes widened slightly when he checked her status.

[Name: Selena Reign]

[Race: Vampire]

[Rank: Master]

[Level: 2 (23/400)]

She had jumped an entire rank overnight.

"Ah, you’re awake, Caelus." Selena turned around with a warm smile. "Come sit. I made breakfast."

She gestured toward the table.

"My cooking skill isn’t much, but I made something for you. Would you like to try it?"

"Of course, Mother."

Selena’s smile widened at the title. It seems like her Son-In-Law remembered her words to call her mother before.

Caelus sat down at the table as she placed a plate in front of him. The food looked simple but well-made.

"How did you become Master so quickly?" he asked while picking up his fork.

Selena sat across from him, her expression turning pleased.

"We were going into gates all night. My daughter and I managed to land in a Double Dungeon, and we found an Ascension Token through the clearance reward."

She took a sip of her coffee.

"I managed to finish the ascension before the day ended and reached Master Rank."

"You really are fast, huh?"

"Well, I do have memories of using my skills and combat experience from the Abyss." Selena chuckled softly. "It helps quite a bit."

Caelus nodded at this, then his expression turned slightly serious.

"Did Sylvia tell you about the dungeon she went into?"

Selena nodded.

"She found an unusual dungeon. I don’t know the details, but it seems like she wanted to check it out."

Then she looked at Caelus, noticing the concern flickering in his dragon eyes.

"I know you are worried, but don’t worry. Sylvia is strong."

Caelus took a bite of his food and nodded slowly.

"Let’s just hope nothing happens to her."

Selena chuckled at his worried expression.

"After seeing her fight in there, I doubt anything will happen. If I’m not wrong, she has an Ace-Rank combat score, right?"

Caelus nodded at her words.

Sylvia was indeed powerful. Perhaps he was worrying too much.

But something in his gut told him to stay alert.

He trusted his girlfriend’s abilities but as her boyfriend, he will naturally be worried and the message she left about the gate was very vague.

Perhaps, while takin a stroll, he will check out the gate she went into.

Somewhere far away, a crimson light pierced through the sky like a blade cutting through reality.

The world around the light began to shake, buildings trembling and glass shattering from the pressure alone.

In the center of it all was Sylvia.

Her crimson eyes glowed with an intensity that could melt steel, her True Vampire aura erupting from her body in waves.

Before her stood a figure shrouded in darkness, its form shifting and unstable like smoke given shape.
